GreatSchools.org Misleading Information and Lack of Transparency

As someone deeply invested in finding the best educational resources for my children, I turned to GreatSchools.org with high hopes. However, my experience was disappointing. The information provided on the website seemed misleading and lacked transparency. It became evident that the ratings were based solely on state test scores, neglecting other crucial aspects of a school's curriculum and programs. This one-size-fits-all approach failed to capture the true essence of each school. Moreover, the site appeared to filter out negative reviews, promoting a skewed positive image. As a parent seeking genuine insights, I felt let down by the lack of authenticity and comprehensive evaluation. For those navigating the complex landscape of school choices, I advise caution when relying on GreatSchools.org for accurate and unbiased information.

GreatSchools.org GreatSchools.org: A Review of Their Methodology and Concerns About Accuracy

GreatSchools.org is a website that claims to provide accurate ratings for schools across the United States. However, I have some concerns about their methodology. They seem to divide kids into low income and everybody else, which doesn't seem fair to me. After all, 2+2=4 no matter how much money your family makes! Instead, they should focus on the test scores and compare them to state and national averages.

I think it's important to have accurate information about schools, especially if you're a parent trying to decide where to send your child. But I'm not sure that GreatSchools.org is providing the most useful information. By dividing kids into low income and everybody else, they're ignoring the fact that all kids should be held to the same standards. And by not focusing on test scores, they're missing an important piece of the puzzle.

Overall, I think GreatSchools.org has good intentions, but they need to rethink their approach. They should focus on providing accurate information about test scores and other objective measures of school quality, rather than relying on subjective judgments about income levels. If they can do that, they'll be a valuable resource for parents and educators alike.

GreatSchools.org Warning: GreatSchools.org Promotes For-Profit Schools and Misleads Parents with Pro-Charter Propaganda

GreatSchools.org ain't worth your time, folks. The bigwigs who bankroll this site are all about pushing for-profit schools and taking the public out of public education. Seems like the whole point of the site is to trick parents into clicking on pro-charter propaganda. Don't fall for it!

GreatSchools.org GreatSchools.org: Unreliable Ratings for Schools; Check Out Niche Instead

GreatSchools.org is not really that great. The ratings they give to schools are not always accurate and fair. It seems like they are more interested in pleasing real estate agents who use their ratings to sell properties. If you want a more reliable and honest review of a school, you should check out Niche. They take into account everything about the school and provide a much more reasonable review.

I mean, seriously, how can you trust a website that only relies on test scores and doesn't consider other important factors like teacher quality, student diversity, and extracurricular activities? It's like they don't care about the whole picture of what makes a school great.

Plus, their website is not user-friendly at all. It's hard to navigate and find the information you need. And don't even get me started on the ads that pop up everywhere. It's like they care more about making money than providing a useful service to parents and students.

Overall, I would not recommend GreatSchools.org. If you want to make an informed decision about a school, go to Niche instead. They provide a much more comprehensive and reliable review.

GreatSchools.org Beware of Misleading Information on GreatSchools.org: A Review of the Website's Accuracy and Transparency

GreatSchools.org is a website that provides information about schools across the United States. However, it is important to note that the information presented on this website may not always be accurate or truthful. In fact, many people have reported that GreatSchools.org only reports positive, glowing reviews of schools and blocks any truthful, negative reviews of schools that they list on their website.

This lack of transparency and truthfulness is truly shameful. Families rely on websites like GreatSchools.org to make informed decisions about where to send their children to school. However, if the information presented on this website is incorrect or misleading, families may end up making the wrong decision.

It is important to note that GreatSchools.org is not the only website that provides information about schools. There are many other websites and resources available that provide more accurate and truthful information about schools. It is important to do your research and use multiple sources when making decisions about where to send your children to school.

In conclusion, while GreatSchools.org may seem like a helpful resource for families, it is important to approach the information presented on this website with caution. The lack of transparency and truthfulness is concerning, and families should be aware of the potential inaccuracies and misleading information presented on this website.

GreatSchools.org GreatSchools.org Needs to Showcase Negative Reviews for Transparency and Accountability

I had an experience with GreatSchools.org that left me feeling disappointed. I had written a review about Amy Montessori School in Brookfield, WI, detailing the racism and bullying that my daughter had experienced there. To my surprise, my review was deleted. It was disheartening to see that GreatSchools only wants to showcase positive reviews, and not the negative experiences that parents and students may have had.

What made matters worse was that the preschool teacher had seen the bullying and did nothing to stop it. It was a frustrating and upsetting situation, and I had hoped that by sharing my experience on GreatSchools, other parents would be aware of the issues at the school and take action to ensure their children were safe.

It's disappointing that GreatSchools only wants to show the good side of schools, rather than the whole picture. I believe that it's important for parents to have access to honest and transparent reviews of schools, so that they can make informed decisions about where to send their children.

Perhaps it's time for someone to create a new school review website that is more honest and transparent. A website that doesn't shy away from negative reviews, but instead provides a balanced view of schools, warts and all. Until then, parents will have to rely on word of mouth and their own research to find the right school for their children.

GreatSchools.org Accuracy Concerns: GreatSchools.org Ratings May Be Biased Towards Wealthy, White Schools

GreatSchools.org is a website that many people use to find information about schools. However, there are some concerns about the accuracy of the ratings on this site. Some people believe that the ratings are biased towards schools that are more wealthy and have a higher percentage of white students.

One issue with the rating system is that it is not based on evidence or established statistical analysis. This means that the ratings may not accurately reflect the quality of the school. Additionally, some people feel that the site should not be allowed to exist because of these concerns.

If you are looking for information about schools for your child, it may be best to use other resources in addition to GreatSchools.org. It is important to do your own research and gather information from multiple sources to make an informed decision.

GreatSchools.org Greatschools.org: Misleading and Cookie-Cutter Approach to School Ratings

I gotta say, I ain't too keen on Greatschools.org for checking out schools. They seem to use the same old cookie cutter for all school systems, which can really mess up the representation of a school. All they seem to care about is the State test score, and they don't even bother to look at the other curriculums and programs that a school might have. It's a real shame, 'cause they're just not a reliable source for parents to use when they're trying to find a good school for their kids. I mean, seriously, don't trust their information. It's just plain misleading.

GreatSchools.org Disappointing Experience with GreatSchools.org: Lack of Customer Service and Responsibility

I gotta say, my experience with GreatSchools.org has been a bit of a bummer. I mean, I've been trying to get them to fix some wrong info about my district and school for what feels like forever. I've sent them like 15 messages, but all they do is tell me to talk to "Precisely." But get this - I can't even contact Precisely because they don't have a customer service department! What kind of nonsense is that?

The worst part is that GreatSchools doesn't seem to care at all about the mistakes on their site. They just keep telling me they'll update the info every quarter, but it's been two quarters now and nothing has changed. I mean, come on guys, take some responsibility for your site!

I really wanted to like GreatSchools, but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope they can get their act together and start taking their users seriously.

GreatSchools.org GreatSchools.org's New Scoring System Encourages All-White Supremacy: A Concerning Review

GreatSchools.org underwent a major overhaul in 2017, and the new scoring system is causing some concern. Some people believe that the new system is damaging to society because it encourages families to move to areas that are all-white with zero diversity. This is because if a very diverse school in a nice town on the West Coast has students of different races who average different scores, then the overall school is penalized. This is because the system assumes incorrectly that the school is treating students differently based on their race. Meanwhile, a poor all-white school with lower overall average scores still gets 9/10 or 10/10 ratings because they aren't penalized by this idiotic racial-difference penalization.

It's possible that the site had good intentions, but it actually screws over families that chose to live in diverse towns and rewards all-white supremacy. This is terrible, and Zillow should decouple immediately! Families should be able to choose the best school for their children based on factors that are important to them, such as diversity, quality of education, and location. The new scoring system on GreatSchools.org seems to be biased against diverse schools, and this is not fair to families who want to live in diverse communities.

Overall, GreatSchools.org needs to take a closer look at their scoring system and make sure that it is fair and unbiased. Families should be able to trust the information on the site when they are making important decisions about where to live and where to send their children to school. It's important that the site does not inadvertently encourage segregation and discrimination.

GreatSchools.org Greatschools.org Review: Useful Resource with Censorship Issues and Login Problems

Greatschools.org is a website that I have found to be very helpful when it comes to finding information about schools. It is a great resource for quickly mapping the location of schools, finding out about the socioeconomic composition of the student body, and getting data on school performance. The site also has a lot of useful articles, such as one on emotional intelligence that I found particularly interesting.

However, I have had some difficulty with the website. It seems that they routinely remove or sanitize reviews from parents and students about schools. This is frustrating because I want to be able to read honest reviews from people who have experience with the school. It also seems like they only want positive reviews, even if they are poorly written. This is a form of censorship, and it makes me wonder if the site is really providing accurate information.

I had a personal experience with a school where the principal cheated me out of my work hours and was also ethnically discriminatory. The school was also celebrating a Hmong hero who was actually a criminal who smuggled heroin. I wanted to post a review about this, but I was unable to do so on Greatschools.org. It is important to me that people are aware of these issues so that they can make informed decisions about where to send their children to school.

Another issue I had with the website is that it does not allow you to log in with just your Facebook account. I tried to log in with my Facebook account, but it did not work. This was frustrating because I did not want to create another account just to use the site.

Overall, Greatschools.org is a useful resource for finding information about schools. However, the website's censorship of reviews and lack of support for Facebook login are frustrating issues that need to be addressed.

GreatSchools.org Disappointing Customer Service Experience with greatschools.org Support Team

greatschools.org is a website that helps parents find the best schools for their children. I recently had an issue with their support team and it was not a pleasant experience. The person who helped me seemed to think that I should have been able to solve the problem on my own. I had to contact them multiple times before the issue was resolved. On top of that, they were very rude and made snarky comments. It was not a good experience and I hope that they can improve their customer service in the future.

GreatSchools.org GreatSchools.org: A Disappointing Source for School Info

GreatSchools.org ain't all that great, if you ask me. I was lookin' for some info on my local schools and what I found was a hot mess. The contact info was all wrong and the reviews were ancient - like, from 9 years ago. Ain't nobody got time for that!

I mean, sure, you could take a chance and believe what they say about a school, but why risk it? You gotta do your own research, folks. Don't rely on some website that can't even keep their info up to date.

Overall, I'd say GreatSchools.org is a bust. Save yourself the trouble and go straight to the source for accurate and current info on your local schools.
