Grace & Truth MinistriesReligious Harassment

B Review updated:

It is really sad that someone who claims to represent the teachings of God, is having his employees harass other religious entities behind the scenes. Jim Brown who is Minister of Grace & Truth Ministries in Hendersonville Tennessee, has had several of his cronies call on via the phone, e-mail, or sometimes on site of a competing Church, and attack the beliefs of that congregation who Brown deems not to be a true Christian by his own beliefs.

Brown's hard-core cult-like teachings of the Bible, attract a fringe group of Christians who wish to exalt themselves over traditional groups such as Catholics, Baptists, Pentecostal, and any other religious group they deem worthy of attack.

Brown is not man enough himself to do the dirty work, so he has his followers or low-paid employees do it for him. They call people anonymously and verbally attack them with their views of the Bible. They send CDs and literature as well to unsuspecting churches who they target.

For several years. Brown and his group have been brokering airtime of cable systems across the country to carry their television ministry and raise donations. Brown hired an out of work heavy metal radio disc jockey - Dave Tuckmantel - to contact TV outlets to carry the weekly broadcasts.

Tuckmantel is responsible for harassing many religious organizations in behalf of Brown, and hap-hazardly boasts of his activities in the name of God.

This is completely unacceptable behavior and unethical for a religious entity to behave in such a manner. I was a supporter of Grace & Truth Ministries for quite sometime, however after learning of these shameful activities, I have since severed ties with them.

I feel the public needs to be aware of their activities and unethical behavior of Jim Brown and his Grace & Truth Ministries.

I know a cult when I see one. This "church" is nothing BUT a cult. Leaders of true Christian churches don't need to shout others down or bully them in any other way. Brown is used to throwing his weight around. That won't work against me.

SinnerSavedByGrace, just the fact of your call name "SinnerSavedByGrace" you just contradicted yourself. Because if you live in sin, then what are you saved from? Notice you are not a sinner saved by grace. Jesus is not birthed in us to eat our flesh and drink our blood, and to be members of our body, our flesh and our bones. We are called out and are birthed in Christ for us to eat His flesh and to drink His blood, and we are members of His body, His flesh and His bones. Jim Brown makes Christ to eat the flesh of man. Jim Brown has been caught in another lie and here's proof: 1 Peter 2:21-22. "For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps, WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH."

So Jim Brown is not following Christ because Jim proclaims and teaches that sin decreases.

The example for us to follow is "NO SIN" and "NO DECEIT FOUND IN OUR MOUTH." So what is the deceit in a person's mouth? To proclaim and teach that sin decreases. Noticed Christ set the example we are to "FOLLOW" in His footsteps of "NO SIN AND NO GUILE FOUND IN HIS MOUTH." Guess what? Jim Brown is not following Christ. So what then is Jim Brown proclaiming with sin decreasing when the example we follow is NO sin?

Ellie, Hebrews 13:8 is truth and therefore I Timothy 2:12 still applies. Enough said about that.

Faith increasing and self decreasing being taught by Jim is NOT saying light and darkness exist together. Whoever in this thread that is posting that Jim is teaching such, is ignorant and has APPARENTLY not paid close enough attention to the message. Even Paul said "oh wretched sinner that I 'AM'..." Paul did not say 'was'. He said 'AM'. We are never without sin...and that is DAILY!! Jim is not teaching that "self is sin" in this context. When he says faith increases and self decreases, he is saying as our understanding of the Word increases, then the regard we have for our own feelings/reputations/etc. decreases, as we speak truth to others in our daily lives. Basically, the stronger we are in the Truth, the more we put aside our own words/opinions/heresies, the more we SPEAK TRUTH to those around us, no matter how much they might ridicule us and "crucify" us in a social sense, or separate from us. Luke 6:22 "Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake." Jim teaches wholeheartedly that we ourselves cannot overcome come sin, but only Jehovah will burn it out of us as He puts us through the fires of persecution. It seems that some of the posters here believe that if someone is a child of God, all sin is removed...? ...because how can light and darkness exist together...?? So, you are saying if Christ is in us we cannot sin...??? Huh??? I John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." Christ in us does not sin, but the outer man(our flesh) most definitely continues to fail. But as we stay diligent to learn more of the Word, those instances of failure(giving in to the flesh), become less frequent. When Jim teaches faith increases and self decreases, he is referring to our boldness to speak those hard facts the Word teaches, such as predestination, God doesn't love everyone, Christmas/Easter are pagan, etc. in spite of our family and friends saying we are crazy and wanting nothing to do with us.

Jim is not perfect. He fails daily. Often he is arrogant and does not handle church discipline issues well, or even close to correctly. But, his heart is truly for the sheep...And he digs far deeper and with greater diligence into the Word, as well as history and other writings, in order to piece together the facts, to present them in an easily understood package of information, for the sheep to be fed. So, quit projecting your own guilt over your laziness in not wanting to pursue the Word, onto those that do.

    Worship Jehovah. Not Jim.

Did you all know that Jim Brown does celebrate Christmas? Jim Brown says that God uses evil men to whip us and to beat us with their hatred and persecution to make us good (to walk straight and upright), which is giving us our blood baptism. Did you all know that Santa Nicholas (Santa Claus) had his Krampus (evil men, demons, black jacks or dark helper) to whip and beat the children to make them behave and to be good children. Notice that Jim Brown is making God to be santa claus that uses evil men (the Krampus) to whip you and beat you. Now you all must realize that Jim Brown preaches against the literal worship of Christmas, why? Because satan has his messenger Jim Brown to proclaim against the literal Christmas, and Jim twists Scripture to worship the spiritual Christmas. Satan knows the church is spiritual and uses the putting off of the literal while all along men are spiritually worshipping satan. Jim Brown has been ordained to head up the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place, and Daniel the Prophet is describing that this is to happen to the spiritual church at the end of time. And notice how it is happening. Just the fact that Jim Brown proclaims sin with faith is making sin to stand in faith, which is the abomination of desolation (sin) standing in the holy place (faith) as spoken of by Daniel the Prophet. Go to youtu.be/7_zXKfmHniA, which is a study by a group on the lies of Jim Brown.

Focus on the true gospel and forget about these deceivers and their gross deceptions-do not become distracted by them whom we do forgive but hold still personally accountable for their errors and ways. Make sure you know Jesus as your Lord and Personal Savior (Romans 10: 8-11) and it says below how to go about doing so.

8 But what does it say? “the word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”

Good Day to all readers, and may the Lord be found while he may be found (Is 55:6) by all those who seek him according to knowledge which comes from the Holy Scriptures, and are made to be understood by the Holy Spirit, the true teaching Priest, to glorify the Father, and magnify the ministry of his only begotten Son and suffering servant. It seems to be the case nowadays that a persons belief system is typically based upon what they believe, were taught or feel (Judges 17:6; 21:25) and not necessarily what is known as truth (Jer 9:9-16). By definition of the color red and the attributes of an apple, we are able to come to the conclusion that an apple is an apple and red apples are red apples. By definition of a car we recognize it as being such, a horse a horse, a parachute a parachute and so on. Although many things are simple and taught to us at an early age, when we do our own personal study, we may find out that much of what we have been taught is true. The same however also applies to differences or fallacies. In the same example if we were taught that a blueberry was an apple and a train was a car, when we finally conducted our own study as to the definitions thereof, we would be corrected and have to choose truth versus what we may have originally been taught. The Lord indeed uses Pastor Brown as one who has a zeal for God according to knowledge, but who also understands that it is the honor and duty of kings to search the scriptures (Pr 25:2), correctly explain and break down the word of truth (2 Tim 2:15), and to be able to explain them so even a child may understand (Ps 119:130). The tough part about Pastor Brown's messages is that they are sometimes indeed tough (Mt 10:32-39). Not just because his style of teaching is very direct and straight forward (2 Cor 3:4-15), and not because he has so much passion that his anger toward inaccuracy and misleading the sheep is expressed now and again (Eph 4:14-16; 1 Tim 1:3-8), but he is one of the few pastors today that covers material in exhaustive detail, is not afraid of any scripture in the Bible, has done and is willing to spend time in study and prayer in asking God the father that his Holy Spirit bring him and the sheep into the knowledge of truth (James 1:5-8; Acts 17:11; John 14:26). In other words, most modern day ministries spend very little time and focus on unpopular or strict parts of the Bible. Most stay away from sin, reproof, correction, obedience and being accurate about a teaching before it is taught (Col 2:8; 2Tim 3:16; 1 Pet 1:16). Aside from that, most are unwilling to thoroughly research a matter, or spend even a few minutes a day reading the word of God let alone deep dive into the Fathers instruction manual (Is 34:16). People dismiss obedience as being a work, and use the Biblical "fact" that no amount of works gives any man access to the kingdom of God (Eph 2:8, 9). They forget that faith "without works" is dead, (James 2:14-26; Eph 2:10-22) and that one works because it is required for one to work. The same way it is required for a man to consume food and drink if he is to remain alive. If I shop at Home Depot or Lowes, I don't ring up myself, get my own tub down from the overhead or cut my own wood at the saw; but if I apply for either company and am hired, I am then required to commit to the task given to me by the supervisor thereof. If I don't do as the instructor instructs I can expect to be reprimanded, given less hours, written up, fired...whatever. Point is, we all understand that the work we do does not come from us, but our boss, manager, supervisor, instructor...and these tasks are necessary to not only get the job done, but to ensure integrity and satisfaction to all customers and associates. We also understand that ignoring our instructor has consequences. The better I perform my job and more I do, the more people are affected in a righteous and positive way (Col 3:22-25, Eph 6:5-9). The beleiver must understand that merely claiming they are a Christian, or simply attending a Sunday/Saturday service is not a proof that they are Bible believing, God fearing people (Mt 7:21-23, Rom 10:9, 10). One must agree with every word of scripture in its original text, without debate (notice I didn't say every interpretation of scripture). And if a person is a new believer or not yet following certain guidelines our Father has given, they must not change the Word of God to fit their lifestyle, religion or emotionally driven way of thinking. (John 14:23, [to keep; tereo in the Greek, means to observe, protect and guard from change). Over time the Lord will conform that believer into the image of Christ. I have been a "Church-goer" all my life, but a student of the Bible or a disciple of Christ since around 2004. When the Lord had mercy upon me to cause me to realize that the say so Christian/Worldly way of life I had lived for so long was not even remotely close to what the Bible says about the life of the true believer, I had to come to terms with that. Man has an option to seek God or reject him. When man seeks God, it is because God sought him first (Ps 14:2, Rom 3:10-12). No one stirs up a zeal for God on their own, but God orchestrates the events in a mans life to draw man toward him (John 6: 44-51). When that man starts a relationship with the Word of God, in study, prayer and feeding oneself thru the word of God, everything changes. But the natural man is not concerned with the things of God (1 Cor 2:14-16; John 8:47, 10:26-27). Not to say when a person comes to the knowledge of the truth they have reached full maturity and is no longer concerned with the things of the world; but God rebirths that individual and he draws the man as though he were a little baby...new, excited, in need of their parents, in need of nutrition, eager to learn, and reliant upon their Father for everything, for they are not yet capable of doing too much on their own. But over time and with accurate and honest instruction and correction, that baby becomes a child, is weaned, and grows continually, showing the proof of the things they've learned in what they do. The action is a reflection of the instruction. The word believe itself is a verb (pisteuo in the Greek, the verb form of the word faith- pistis), and we learned by the 3rd grade that verbs are action words. So although coming to a mental ascent of a matter or having a thought associated with something is part of belief, it is by far not even close to the full definition. If a learned student of scripture has a scriptural basis for challenging a teaching or interpretation, the matter should be heard. But if lack of knowledge, pride or emotion is the basis, it is an argument in futility, not because the interpretation was necessarily correct, but because the purpose of the challenge is to promote clarity not to boast about a greater level of knowledge or discovery given from the Holy Spirit. Serving God is not about pride, self, self-esteem or self-preservation, but rather about dying to self, and adjusting ones current outlook to fall in line with the truth (Mk 8:34; Mt 16:24; Lk 9:23, 14:27; Rom 6-8; Amos 3:3). But the scripture teaches that men loved darkness more than they loved light because their deeds were evil (John 3:19). In conclusion, whether the reader of this decides to or decides not to listen the messages Pastor Brown teaches, I implore but 2 things... 1st, Let no man teach you anything, but if the Lord sends a man to teach, spend some time in prayer and reading your own Bible so you can be certain if he was sent of God or not, for the Lord indeed uses and equips men to teach (1John 2:27; 2 Tim 2:24; Eph 4:8-15). He has given gifts unto men for the teaching and expansion of the ministry... and 2nd, Be certain to heed to the advice of Gamaliel in Acts 5:34-40, that the person you speak against isn't a man of God before you speak up or come against him; for as with Peter, if a man is speaking the truth and you come against him because you feel a certain way, you may be considered to be fighting against God. (Rom 2:1-11)

Friends, there is a lot of heresy out there, false teachers and wolfs in sheep's clothing. And there are true believers and teachers out there that may need some of their current understanding critiqued. Be careful not to condemn a person, but be Biblically sound in your conduct towards them. Let your outlook of others and yourself have the same gauge. Do not judge means to not decide yourself what is right or wrong, but let the Word of the Lord be the counsel for all matters. Do not think you are wise to make accusation where your feelings create the root of the accusation rather than Biblical truths and actual facts. Be wise to attain unto wise counsel so you do not forbid that which is accurate. All men are sinners and fall short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23), even Paul states the things he would do he does not, and the things he wouldn't do he does (Rom 7:15). There is a conflict between the spirit and the flesh (Gal 5:17), but the Spirit is willing and the flesh is weak (Mt 26:40; Mk 14:38). There is no man without sin or error, but the men God sends to teach because he has equipped them with the truth have a higher requisite of obedience for they are overseers of the flock and to whom much is given much is required (1 Tim 2:1-2; Lk 12:48). Pastor Brown may not always have the friendliest or politically correct approach to some of his teachings, but ask the Lord yourself if he is qualified to teach the scriptures, so that you do not void yourself of sound Biblical doctrine and truths because you disagree with him on a few points. And if you believe he is too hard on the false preachers and not accurate about the reprimand of certain others, pursue your Father in Heaven using the words of scriptures to request that this knowledgable teacher have a more humble dissertation when preaching on the tough spots in scripture. In the mighty name of our Messiah, Yeshua, Jesus the Christ may the one who seeks God the Father find him. I can be reached at [email protected] for further questions, comments, concerns or scripture review.
    Thank you.

One additional point, and use your own biblical sense about this... Jim Brown claims that no one else teaches the things that he does. Some of his supporters are convinced and parrot the same line. "No one comes close to speaking the truth like Jim Brown does".. etc.
It's simply not true. It is true that Jim Brown calls down the blatant false teachers, and that is to be commended. It's pretty easy to contrast the truth of the bible with the prosperity gospel, or the Church at Rome as well as others. It's biblical for him to do so, but to claim no one else teaches truth is not speaking truth. Think about it.
Does anyone really think that God has only one man on earth speaking the truth? Would that be biblical? I think not. Jim doesn't spend too much time listening to other teachers that teach truths, and my friend, there are many out there. Christ has made sure of it. His church prevails. Jim will mention John MacArthur from time to time, but John is not the poster boy for truth in the reformed camp and wavers back and forth constantly. There are many other solid teachers and in a number of cases, teach more accurate bible than Jim does in certain areas. They are in agreement with Jim regarding Calvinism (predestination) and that God doesn't love everyone., God is the source of evil etc. God is sovereign, not man. There are many that teach properly in this regard, so Jim Brown is really being false when he says he's the only one. Sometimes he's being a bit slippery when he says, "I haven't heard anyone teach like this". If he doesn't listen to the other truth teachers that statement could be valid, but it's misleading. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and write the statement off to ignorance on his part. If I wanted to be cynical, I might say Jim is seeking followers. Cult leaders claim they are the only ones speaking truth. I don't think Jim means to lead a cult and to have people worship and follow him. He's just not thinking clearly. The Holy spirit would never lead him to make that statement though. I'm not promoting the idea of not learning from Jim. By all means do, but don't be fooled into thinking he's the only man with truth in the world, or the most truthful. Neither is the case.

Jim Brown is a pretty good solid bible teacher. Is he perfect in all his teaching? No, I'm sorry, he's not. Is Jim a prophet? No, he's not. The sheep will know that THERE ARE NO PROPHETS today. There are gifts for roles in the church given by the Holy Spirit for teaching, upbuilding, and supporting the flock. The only prophet is the bible itself. It's everything a Christian needs. Beware of people claiming to be prophets, and ignore people claiming that this or that man is a prophet. They're ignorant.
An example of error by Jim Brown, and mind you this is not important in the big picture. He is an adamant fan of textus receptus (Majority Text), which is basically the manuscript with the most words. Jim has criticized other manuscript use because according to him, "parts of the bible have been removed". NU (critical text) definitely has passages missing compared to the M-Text. Jim sees this as a problem as if portions of the bible were purposely removed. This is not the truth. Scholars agree that the tendency of people copying the bible was to add things to the bible, not to removed things. Their desire was to help the teachings (they thought) and in some cases add in a little bit of their own theology. John 8:3-11 is a good example of this. Not only is this text NOT in the earliest found manuscripts, but it has also been found in some manuscripts in the book of luke instead. The tendency of added texts was for them to float around the bible trying to find a home. Another blatant example of someone trying to help the bible is this passage:
Joh 5:2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.
Joh 5:3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
Joh 5:4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
Joh 5:5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
Joh 5:6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
Joh 5:7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

That is the kjv which is based on M-Text which includes 5:4. Notice that it states the activity of the angel as if it were a FACT. Christians understand this to be a Jewish fable, and that no such thing ever happened although many of the people BELIEVED it was true (didn't make it true though).
Here is the ESV without the spurious passage:
Joh 5:2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, in Aramaic called Bethesda, which has five roofed colonnades.
Joh 5:3 In these lay a multitude of invalids—blind, lame, and paralyzed.
Joh 5:5 One man was there who had been an invalid for thirty-eight years.
Joh 5:6 When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, "Do you want to be healed?"
Joh 5:7 The sick man answered him, "Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me."

Jim Brown would say it's better to have the M-Text version because it's longer, and has more words. The problem is we KNOW this has been added by someone who believed an angel did come and stir the water periodically and the first person in would be healed in this 'Lottery'. The early manuscripts don't include that part.

Are these very important points? Maybe not. They're not earth shattering, or faith breaking. I appreciate Jim being strong in protecting truth and the flock. It's necessary for a pastor to be this way, but there is a fine line between being firm, and being pig headed. Jim is pig headed about some things. No one can tell him anything. That's a fact.

I've listened to some of the so-called Christian broadcasts by other so-called Christian 'preachers'. No one comes close to speaking the truth like Jim Brown does. That's why others are bashing him. His message is not false but the message of he other churches that he exposes is false. I was raised in a Pentecostal church & those people are the false teachers. Catholics are pagans & its even written in the history books how they follow pagan customs & amalgamated paganism into their rituals. As far as Grace & Truth employees calling out the false churches is concerned God tells us to confront liars & expose them. If they wont repent then separate from them. Some of you are using a PhD as an excuse to practice paganism - go ahead - its your soul. The Way is narrow & few will come. God Bless Grace and Truth & all of their followers.

God has taught me so much these last couple of months about how satan and satan's disciples deceive us. This must be shared with you all.

Why is it that Jim Brown hates the message and doctrine about God making us to cease from sin? And refuses to believe God making us to cease from sin?

To a believer knowing that God makes us to cease from sin is a beautiful message of the gospel to hear and to know, yet Jim Brown hates terribly to hear or to be told the power of God in making us cease from sin. And why is this? Because Jim Brown is the devil's disciple and God has revealed this to me in His word. Here is the proof that Jim Brown loves the devil and satan's message:

Satan taught the first message of having good (faith increasing) and evil (sin decreasing), which is the very same and exact message that Jim Brown teaches.

Satan told Eve in Genesis 3, "Not surely you shall die, for knows God that in the day you eat of it, then shall be opened your eyes and you shall be as God, knowing good (faith) and evil (sin)."

Jim Brown teaches this same message and states, "You'll be godly with faith (good) increasing and evil (sin) decreasing."

To be condemned by God is for God to allow us to remain dead in sin. To be dead in sin and to remain in it is THE WRATH OF GOD.

When the woman was caught in the very act of adultery she was brought before Jesus in John 8. Notice what Jesus tells her in verse 10, "Woman, where are those, the accusers of you? No one judged you? And she said, No one, Lord. And said to her Jesus, Neither I, you, do judge; GO, and NO MORE SIN."

Notice Jesus is commanding this woman to "Go and NO MORE sin." This is an imperative mood and IS A COMMAND by God, which will be done because of being according to His will; therefore, the woman had no choice, but to 'Go, and NO MORE sin.'

Jesus did not command the woman to go and decrease sin. He specifically instructed her to "NO MORE" sin.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 7 that a good tree cannot produce evil fruits, and that a corrupt tree cannot produce good fruits. God is clearly stating that faith (good tree) cannot produce evil (sinful) fruits. Jesus is preaching against the message that Satan preached in the garden, yet Jim Brown preaches against Christ and teaches the message of satan, "that faith (good tree) produces evil fruit (sin decreasing).

We are IN Christ Jesus and IN Him is NO SIN. Therefore, to be in sin is to not be in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:4, "Because of the much love of Him which He loved us, even being us dead in trespasses (sin), made us alive with Christ; by grace you are being saved (saved from sinning); and raised with, and seated with IN the heavenlies IN Christ Jesus, that He might show in the ages (the present time and future time) coming on the surpassing riches of the grace of Him in kindness towards us IN Christ Jesus. For by grace you are being saved, through faith (Christ), and this NOT OF YOU, of God the gift; not of works (what a man does), lest anyone should boast. For OF Him we are doing (to cease from sin) created IN Christ Jesus unto GOOD works (good fruit) which before prepared, God, that in them we should walk."

Notice here there is no association of good works (faith) with evil (sin decreasing) as satan taught in the garden, which is also taught by Jim Brown.

Jim Brown is a false teacher and is the son of the father of lies and is a murderer. The doctrine Jim teaches is death with NO RESURRECTION "IN" Christ Jesus.

God's word says that we are IN the light because He is IN the light. God is light, and darkness in Him not is, NONE."

So why is it that Jim hates to preach that in Jesus we cease from sin? Because satan can not cease from sin and preaches it is not possible now and in the ages (future) to come to cease from sin and therefore states that sin decreases. To have not cease from sin is to have no resurrection of Christ. To resurrect in Christ is to be IN Christ, which is to be birthed IN Him (in the Spirit).

Take heed and learn from God. Remember, the witness of God is greater than the witness of man.

For the first time in months God allowed me to hear from Jim and Mary. What was sent to me from them has been placed by me at the feet of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The recording of the conversation with Jim almost a year ago has been placed at the feet of Christ. We must not forget that to give life to a brother and sister, we must be alive (birthed) in Christ first for life to be extended to them through our godly actions.

My heart that is full of Christ, His Holy Spirit, will always be extended to Jim and Mary with love. God bless you all.

    Hi ToniS,
Thank you for clarifying the purpose of posting on this website. It seems there have been a lot of posting including my own that is off topic. It's a forum for pointing out Jerks that are proprietors of business. Jim is a Jerk and happens to run a Church which of course is a business providing a service.
    Buyers of the service beware.

For the last three weeks my prayer of words to God is to confirm what He has taught me this last year about His word is true and correct, and to please give me verification if being according to His will for me to know for certain with no doubt.

Yesterday I was walking out of the appliance area, and walked in my path was a delivery driver named Forrest that came to our store from Ohio delivering a load to us. He was walking to Millwork Department. The name of his trucking business on his shirt was "Faith Transportation."

His face and demeanor was full of light and we just stood there, looking at each other and introduced our name (authority of Christ) to one another. He immediately started speaking God's word to me and we witnessed to each other. God had me tell Forrest what He had taught me, and Forrest verified and confirmed what God had taught me was true and correct. Before he left, Forrest held both of my hands and prayed for me and with me.

God does answer prays and had sent two witnesses within a week confirming what He has taught me is of truth.

On Saturday, God sent a preacher named Mike, that had recently lost his eyesight due to old age, to me. Mike also confirmed what God has taught me this last year is of truth, and that God uses women to prophesy and teach God's truth. Just as the first preachers of the resurrection of Christ, after He was crucified, were the message the women delivered to the disciples at the instruction of Christ.

With confirmation from God it's now time for me to move on with peace and rest. God will change Mary and Jim Brown's heart to know the truth, because "WITH GOD 'ALL' THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!!!" God has confirmed this to me.

May God's mercy and Grace be with you.

ToniS: What a person believes and teaches reflect in their actions and conduct. Jim believes sins decreases; therefore, Jim believes and teaches that man can live godly with sin at the same time, that is why Jim's behavior and conduct are, such as you put it, "a jerk."

Jim is getting more attention and air time now than he ever got in music business and it has affected him drastically for the worse. He wears shirts with scripture on it so that people take "notice" of him, greet him and confront him. All eyes are on him and not on Christ. Jesus describe these people as Pharisees wearing long robes to identify themselves and making long prayer in the market place so that they are greeted and seen of all men. Jim Brown has his reward, the here and now, and God said Jim Brown will receive the GREATER DAMNATION.

    Luk 20:46 Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;
Luk 20:47 Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.

ToniS: My heart truly goes out to Jim and Mary because God has allowed me to sit across from them and talk to them both face to face. Jim has cried in my presence and he has a soft, tender side to him. Jim has stumbled in church and God had me there next to Jim to catch him so that he didn't fall to the floor, breaking an arm or hip due to his old age. Many times, Mary had been sick and my arms have wrapped around her to comfort her. And Jim and Mary have embraced me on several occasions.

Are we perfect? No!!! That's why it is Christ in us that is PERFECT to MAKE US bow to the will of The Father. It is Christ in us that makes us live holy and righteous, because Christ is faithful to make faith work because Christ is our faith. Christ is going to see to it that His works done in us that His Father is glorified, praised and worshipped.

My prayer every day and every minute is that God opens Mary and Jim's mind and heart to understand this, because the embracing of each other we did and the love we gave each other along with the others in the ministry is something that we want to continue to do when we leave here.

God knows there have been mistakes made by me. That's why God had me ask Mary, Jim and those in the ministry to forgive me.

It was a sin for me to use Mary and Jim and to divulge personal things about them. Mary confided in me and that trust and honesty was betrayed by me. Just as my conversation with Jim was betrayed by me. Instead of my going to God and laying it all at his feet, it was about me and my feelings and not about Jim and Mary. It was all about my cross, while the cross of Christ was ignored by me and not looked upon by my eyes.

It's all about Christ and NONE of us. It was not possible for me to know what that meant until now, and God opened my eyes by having Mary, Jim, and Grace and Truth Ministry in my path to bring me to this moment in truth.

That why God knows what He has done to me has caused me to be that nagging woman constantly tugging the fringe of His garment and approaching Him continually bowing before Him with my asking Him to avenge my brother Jim Brown, and my sister Mary Brown of their adversary and set them free.

God has my mind no longer thinking about the bad that has happened, but to look forward to that day when once again He will make it possible for me to embrace Mary and Jim; to stand beside them singing songs of hymns, praise and worship; together lifting up our voices glorifying God.

The real issue here is how Jim Brown and Grace and Truth Ministries behaves and operates, not whether their doctrines are biblical or whether he is a 'true prophet'. Speaking supposed 'truth' does not compensate for or justify poor behavior. It doesn't take a bible scholar (or pseudo-scholar), or 'christian' for that matter, to see something is wrong - just common sense. Furthermore, a jerk is still a jerk, whether they are being a jerk because their bible instructs them to, or otherwise. Last I checked, this website is not intended as a platform for religious doctrinal dissertations and disputes. You might as well be quoting passages from a Huckleberry Finn; that would have just as much significance here.

The doctrine of faith increasing and sins (self-demon-the world) decreasing that Jim preaches is a kingdom divided against itself.

So in other words Jim Brown is teaching, a man is godly due to faith increasing, but can still be stealing, adulterating, homosexual activities, using and abusing drugs, child pornography, look at pornographic materials, and sexually assault and abuse children. And a man doing all those listed above, sins, are godly due to them sexually assaulting a child is decreasing from 7 days a week, now to 6 days a week, but yet continues to do all the others above daily.

Next week the man or woman doing all those sins mentioned above now decides to stop reading and looking at pornography instead of 7 days a week to now six days a week. Oh wow!!! That person has increased in godliness due to another sin decreasing. Oh my, that person is now more godly. Give that man an award. See what the man is doing? That man is reducing his sins.

Go ahead and fool yourselves and believe that faith increasing and sins decreasing, because according to the WORKS OF MEN, this is a true doctrine and is exactly what a man believes and does. This is the "little-puny faith (sickly-worldly, diseased faith that is of satan trying to imitate the works of God-the other Jesus) that the word of God is written about in His Scriptures.

Now, let me introduce to you the WORKS and the POWER of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My God is faithful and true to cast out (to cease-stop) ALL the works of my flesh (sins) and my partaking of sins SO THAT MY GOD, MY SAVIOR ""RECEIVES ALL THE GLORY, PRAISE, AND WORSHIP, "" so that His work in me ascends up as the prayer of incense, a sweet smelling savor, to The Father.

Christ is my faith and it is Him that is faithful to work in me with ALL authority to make me bow to His will, and has revealed Himself to me with His Kingdom ruling and reigning FOREVER more.

Trooth Seeker: here is more information for you and God willing it will be possible for me to reply regarding the verses you posted on Thursday my day off. Here is another e-mail sent to Jim from me. Please know that there is no anger or hatred in my heart towards Mary, Jim and the Grace and Truth Ministries. I love every one attending this ministry. God did use Jim to get me where I am today, just as some of you; however, we must all be honest and read God's word; and not to put a square peg in a round hole, and that is what Jim does. Jim Brown has so much worldly wisdom due to reading men's commentary for years that it has blinded him spiritually. Jim Brown told at many teaching that the doctor told him that Jim would die if he didn't stop studying too much. Jim might not had physically died, but the result was spiritual death, due to too much worldly wisdom.

This was written to Jim by me:

Oh, the beauty of the blood dripping Cross of Christ that washes us in newness of life, making us a new creature, that is repentant and turned from evil, and to cease from sin. This verse verifies the power of the Cross of Christ and that faith increasing and self decreasing is a lie.

Hebrews 10:19-23 "Having, therefore brothers, confidence in the entering of the Holies by the blood of Jesus, which He consecretated for us, a way new and living through the veil, this is, the flesh of Him; and a Priest great over the house of God, let us daw near with a true heart "IN FULL ASSURANCE OF FAITH, " having been sprinkled the hearts from an evil conscience, and having been washed the body in clean water; let us hold fast the confession of the hope "UNYIELDING", for FAITHFUL IS HE HAVING PROMISED."

Yes, we will have full assurance of faith. That's why faith increasing and self decreasing is not full assurance of faith and is not holding the confession of the hope unyielding. Faith increasing and self decreasing is a doctrine not holding fast the confession of the hope due to being yielded by self (sin). This proves that a man teaching this faith increasing and self decreasing is of satan; and as you can see satan is casting down the authority of God, because His word clearly states, "FAITHFUL IS HE (CHRIST) HAVING PROMISED." Can you see how satan comes deceiving people?

And what is it that happens to a man that tramples on the Son of God and having counted the blood of the covenant (the cup - His Cross) in which he was sanctified common and the Spirit of Grace having insulted? Counted in the Greek means to lead, or command with official authority; the rule over, governor, judge, suppose or think. Trample means to trample down, cast down, tread (down, underfoot), to distribute or make a path or walkway for others. Common means defiled, unclean, unholy. Insult means to direct harm, injury, reproach.

Those teaching this faith increasing and self decreasing; and teaching others to take their own cross are making the Cross of Christ which was sanctified by His blood common by attaching that which is holy with a worldly cross. This is no different than bringing the xmas or Ishtar system into the church. A man preachings to take your cross, and that faith increasing and self decreasing is a man teaching the doctrine of the xmas, Ishtar, Halloween, the Masonic beliefs, KKK, Baal and Grove system by stating that you can have light and darkness together. This false doctrine is casting down Christ and is trampling on the Son of God.

Hebrews 10:26-31 "For willfully sinning us after receiving the full knowledge of the truth, no more concerning sins remains a sacrifice, fearful, but some expectation of judgement, and of fire zeal to consume being about the adversaries. Anyone disregarding the law of Moses without pities, on two or three witnesses dies; how much worse punishment do you think he will be thought worthy having trampled on the Son of God, and the blood of the covenant having deemed common by which he was sanctified, and the Spirit of Grace having insulted. For we know the One having said, To me vengeance, I will repay, says Lord; and again, Lord will judge the people of Him. A fearful thing it is to fall into the hands, God of the living."

Don't forget an adversary is a person that is against Christ. Satan is an adversary and all those that are an adversary will be cast into the lake of fire for eternity where the worm dieth not. God will kill a man for trampling on His Cross and counting it common, and putting it with the things of this evil world. People will use this to say that the fire of God will beat self out of you because you are His people. Well, think of all those people in Israel that died in the desert after leaving Egypt for murmuring against Moses. God killed them. And man that teaches this evil and godless doctrine of faith increasing and self decreasing; and that you have to take your cross and competely trample on the blood covenant, these preachers and teachers are already dead. God has already spiritually killed them, they just don't know it.

This worshipping of God is very serious and God does not take it too likely mixing that which is holy and pure with this evil of self. Jesus is our faith. Faith is the works of the Holy Spirit. Jesus was God (Holy Spirit) in the flesh and it was He that healed the people. God is faith because it is He that is faithful to do the work in us.

Remember, Jesus said, "If the light in you is darkness, how great is that darkness?" If the faith (Christ in you) is self (darkness), how great is that self (darkness)? A man with any part darkness (self) is completely filled with darkness (self).

Jesus is God that came in the flesh to set the example of what He is going to do while walking with us in our flesh. That's why it clearly states in Hebrews 10:38-39 "But the just by faith will live, and if he draws back, not is pleased the soul of Me in him."

Draw back means to "stall, " to "not set fast, " to "repress, " not is pleased (to have, to take pleasure, to think well of, to see proof approve or prove) the soul the soul of Me in him. What is being said is that a man that draws back is proof that Christ is not pleased to have put the soul of Him in that man.

Those that trample the word of God does not have the Holy Spirit of Christ in them, especially when a man teaches that you can have faith (Christ) and self (sin of this world) at the same time. This is a doctrine of drawing back and God's word clearly states that WE ARE NOT OF DRAWING BACK. And why is this? Because we have Christ (Faith) dwelling in us preserving the soul of us from now to eternity.

Yes, faithful is He having promised!!!

"Col 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created Him."

We are birth in the image of God when we are birthed from Above in the new man; therefore, if we are already birthed in the image of God, how can we be conformed over time into an image that we already are in? What Jim is teaching is that God is not perfect and sinless. Jim is saying that it is God in us that is not perfect and has to be conformed to perfection to make us walk holy and righteous.

Those of us posting on this board already knows there is none thing good about us. That is a given and we all know this. However, Jim is clearly blaspheming the power of the Holy Spirit and is saying that God has a demon with faith increasing and demon decreasing. And with this doctrine Jim is changing the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man.

"Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things."

God bless you all that read this. Pray for Jim. He needs it.

Here are copies of e-mails sent to Jim by me to let Jim know what God has taught me, and to apologize to Jim and Mary for using them to make me cease from sin, which is wrong for me to do. It's God working in us to make us cease (stop) from sins.

It is Jesus that redeems us; therefore, faith increasing and sins (self) decreasing is a doctrine of not being redeemed. This doctrine is stating that a person is partially found and partially lost, which Jesus describes in Revelation as "lukewarm" that is neither "hot" nor "cold". Jesus says He rather they be "hot" or "cold."

Rev 3:16 "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:"

Notice, how God describes "wretchedness, " yet Jim will used Romans 7 to say that this is the state of a man with the Holy Spirit in him. Yet, Paul is clearly describing the state of a man "BEFORE" having been birthed from above.

Jesus is describing the lukewarm teachings of Jim to the very core and this is scripture. Jesus says those that are lukewarm will be spewed (vomited) by Him. Jim Brown is clearly stating when he teaches this that Jesus IS NOT the redeemer. Let's look at the definition of "Redeemed." The Greek definition:

    "G1805 ἐξαγοράζω
    Pronounced ex-ag-or-ad'-zo

from 1537 and 59; to buy up, i.e. ransom; figuratively, to rescue from loss (improve opportunity):--redeem."

Faith increasing and sins (self) decreasing is a person not rescued from loss, because a man in sin regardless of how much it is decreasing, sin is sin, and a man is lost due to being separated from God and not joined to Him.

Redeemed per the Webster dictionary means:

"REDEE'MED, pp. Ransomed; delivered from bondage, distress, penalty, liability, or from the possession of another, by paying an equivalent."

We are delivered from the bondage of sin, from the possession of Satan (of this world).

Jesus is the redeemer. Either you have been redeemed or not, and there is no "in between" or "partially" redeemed as Jim teaches.

Here are the copies of the letter sent to Jim by me just recently.

    May 30, 2014

Luke1:13 "Do not fear, Zacharias because was heard the request of you, and the wife of you, Elizabeth, will bear a son to you, and you shall call the name of him John. And he shall be joy to you and exultation, and many over the birth of him will rejoice. He will BE GREAT IN THE EYES OF THE LORD, and wine and strong drink not at all he may drink, and the Spirit of Holy he WILL BE FILLED EVEN ""FROM WOMB OF MOTHER OF HIM."" And many of the sons of Israel he WILL TURN ONTO THE LORD, the God of them; and he will go ahead before Him IN SPIRIT AND POWER OF ELIJAH, to turn hearts of fathers onto children, and disobedient to wisdom of just, TO PREPARE A PEOPLE having been prepared."

John the Baptist had full faith with no self decreasing due to God stating so in His word.

We are to approach God believing that He is and is a rewarder to those that diligently seek Him, just as the woman with the issue of blood believed when she touched the fringe of His garment to be made whole.

Do you believe God to make you cease from sin, just as the woman believed God to make her whole, and He did?

This verse mentioned above in Luke clearly verifies that John was not even close to a doctrine of faith increasing and self (sins) decreasing when John said, "He must increase, I decrease." John was clearly stating when He made this statement that his preparing the way had come to an end, due to the Bridegroom having arrived on scene and that all are to follow Him (Christ).

Wake up Jim!!! My prayer of words to God is that He releases you from the grasp of Satan's hand that is dragging you and pulling you into hell.

It's not other people we are to be concerned about, it's the spiritual wickedness in high places, our pride, that we are to be concerned about.

The bear and chocolate candy was sent to Mary and you with genuine love and repentance that God put in my heart. If we do not forgive, God will not forgive us.

The flowers that were to be delivered to you were cancelled by me and instead were sent to my mom. She cried when she got them because it was the first time flowers had been sent to her by me. She was thrilled, surprised and happy when she got them, and told me that she loved me.

Again, please forgive me for the hurt and pain done by me.

    May 22, 2014

    Dear Jim and Mary:

It is unknown by me if you are reading this; however, it is important to let you know that God has genuinely caused me to repent (to turn from partaking in the flesh of mine, the things of this world) and has joined me to Him. Truly, God has made me see the hurt and pain done by me to you, Mary and the ministry. Does this mean that you will have to be concerned about me walking through the doors at the ministry to create problems for you and Mary? No. You, Mary, and everyone at the ministry deserves to slap me and beat me with many stripes, with a whip.

How and with what words can be typed on here to convince you or explain a genuine repentance, the actions or works of God done in my heart? The only words that can be typed by me to you so that you know that God has made me to repent is: Please FORGIVE me!!

God has revealed to me the ugliness and the ungodliness of my flesh to me. That's why there are no words that can be typed by me to let you know how sorry I am for hurting you. I truly am sorry and apologize to you with genuine repentance, that which God has done in my heart. Please know that God has revealed to me the wickedness of my flesh, and my partaking of and the eating of my flesh. Ecclesiastes 4:6, "The fool folds his hands and eats his own flesh (partakes of his sins)."

God taught me what it means to believe Him to do the work in me, just as the woman with the issue of blood believe God to heal her (to do His work in her). God revealed to me of my relying on the works of men to crucify me, and of my not relying on the works of Him in me to crucify me to this world (the flesh of me). God revealed to me that it is the faith of Him working in me, and that for me to believe Him to do the work in me to make me to cease from partaking of sin (of my flesh). In Mark 11 when Peter asks Jesus about the fig tree and how it withered after He cursed it, Jesus and the disciples come upon the tree the next morning, and all the leaves having been withered away and dried up, Jesus tells the disciples where Faith is and what it means to BELIEVE Him and HOW TO BELIEVE Him.

In Mark 11:22, "And answering Jesus says to them, 'Have Faith - God. Truly, for I say to you that whoever says to mountain (our pride and flesh of sin) this; 'Be taken, and thrown in the sea', and DOES NOT DOUBT IN THE HEART OF HIM, but BELIEVES THAT WHAT HE SAYS OCCURS, IT WILL BE TO HIM, WHATEVER HE SAYS. Therefore, I say to you, ALL THINGS whatever praying (God working in us to bow to His will) you ask, BELIEVE THAT YOU RECEIVE, and IT WILL BE to you. And when you stand praying (stand firm in [Christ-Faith] doing God's will) FORGIVE if anything you have AGAINST ANY, that also the Father of you, in the Heavens, may forgive you the TRANSGRESSIONS of you. But if you do not forgive, neither the Father of you in the Heavens will forgive the transgressions of you.'"

It was me thinking that if people offended me that I was to forgive them. But God taught me "Forgive, if anything you have against any." It's not what people do to me, but is about me forgiving anything I have against any.

This flesh of mine is not only offensive to me, but also against others. Therefore, it can't be said by me that I have no sin, because the flesh of me is sin. However, when my flesh tempts me to partake of sin or to eat of it, God is faithful to not allow me to be tempted beyond what I can bear, but with the temptation will make a way out so that I bear it and don't partake and eat of sin.

It's not other men that we are to be concerned about that tempts us, it is our very own flesh, and it is our partaking of our flesh that causes us to sin against God. 1 Corinthians 10:13 "Temptation you not have taken except human (of your flesh); faithful but God, who not will allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able; but will make with the temptation also the way out, for to be able, you to bear Him crucifying us to this world (to take His Cross). His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

That's why in 1 John 1:8, we can't say that we have no sin, because our flesh is sin due to being that which is human. However, there is a difference in having sin; and, to partake (to do, to eat, work or labor) in sin. Not only is there sin in our flesh trying to get us to partake of her drink offerings, but also in this world when we step out in her every day. Sin is sin and it is all around us; however, it is God that keeps us from partaking of her sin offerings.

1 John 1:5, "And THIS IS THE MESSAGE which we have heard from Him, and we ANNOUNCE to you, that God LIGHT IS, and darkness in Him NOT IS, NONE. If we say that fellowship we have with Him, and IN THE DARKNESS WE WALK, we LIE, and not are doing the truth. If, but, in the LIGHT (in Christ joined to Him) WE WALK, as He IS IN THE LIGHT, fellowship we have with one another (of one flesh in Him) and the blood (His Cross of circumcision) of Jesus Christ the Son of Him CLEANSES us from ALL sins. If we say that sin (this flesh) not we have ourselves we deceive, and the truth not is in us. If we confess the sins (to know our flesh is sin and that our flesh tempts us), FAITHFUL He is and RIGHTEOUS, that He may forgive us the sins, and CLEANSE US FROM "ALL" unrighteousness (to not partake of sins). If we say that not we have sinned (to have partaken and eaten the fruit of our flesh), a liar we make Him, and the word (truth) of Him not is in us."

This flesh is sin, and if we say that we have not partaken of or eaten of our flesh, then we are lifting ourselves up as being sinless in the flesh, and are not recognizing Christ, which is denying Him and making Him a liar, because it is Christ who is the only man without sin.

1 John 2:1 states, "Little children of me, these I write to you, that NOT you sin (partake of your flesh). And if anyone sins (partake or eats), an advocate we have with the Father, Jesus Christ, righteous; and He is a propitiation concerning the sins (the flesh) of us; not concerning ours only, but also concerning all the world. And BY THIS WE KNOW THAT WE HAVE 'KNOWN' HIM, if the COMMANDS OF HIM WE KEEP. The one saying, I HAVE KNOW HIM, and the commands of Him NOT KEEPING, A LIAR is, and in this one THE TRUTH NOT IS. Whoever keeps of Him the word, truly in this one the love of God HAS BEEN 'PERFECTED' (completed, fully mature, birthed from above). By this we know that IN HIM WE ARE." Christ is going to make us keep the commands of Him, that's why the ones that know Him will keep the commands of Him.

Christ is the High Priest and He lights the candle stick in our heart to reveal Himself to us and for us to know Him, because He is not going to light His truth in a secret place where it can not be seen by us; and, Christ feeds us the bread of manna daily; and, makes us and commands us to walk righteously and to not partake of our flesh. Christ makes us to bow to His will with His blood atonement on us, which is the prayer of incense of the saints (those that are His, Christ makes to bow to His will) that is a sweet smelling sacrifice that ascends up to the Father.

Christ not only came in the flesh to do the will of the Father (to be crucified on His Cross and resurrected after dying); but is continuing to do the will of the Father by having joined us to Him; and, is continuing to do the will of the Father by causing us to die daily to this world, and resurrects us in Him as new creatures by casting off the old man from us, and putting on us the new man. "Was swallowed up death (to be separated from God) in victory!! Where of you, death the sting? Where of you hades the victory? And the sting of death - SIN, and the power of sin the law; but to God thanks, He giving to us the victory through the Lord of us, Jesus Christ. So as, brothers of me, beloved, firm be, unmoveable, ABOUNDING in the WORK of the Lord ALWAYS, knowing that the labor of you NOT IS fruitless in Lord." God is faithful and is abounding His work in me to not be fruitless in Him.

Jim, God has taught me that my flesh is sin, and that it is Christ crucifying my flesh to make me to not partake of sin, and that it is not the works of man that crucifies my flesh. What was done by me to you, Mary and the ministry was wrong of me. It was not your fault. It was me partaking and eating the sins that my flesh offered to me and due to my partaking of my flesh, I sinned against God. It was about me using you and those in the ministry to condemn me to my cross by the works of your hands to circumcise my flesh.

God has opened my eyes to see Him, my ears to hear Him, and to understand and know Him. The only thing that can be done by me is to ask you and Mary to please forgive me. I humbly apologize for the hurt caused by me to you.

Just so you know, people have told me that it is wrong of me to ask you for forgiveness. The people that have told me this are those that have previously attended the ministry. However, God has touched my heart to not listen to man, but to do His will. What was done by me was wrong, and the hurt to you and Mary that was caused by me was wrong of me. Only God can touch the hearts of those people to repent and to apologize to you, and to ask you for forgiveness.

God has touched my heart to humbly bow before Him. He has humbled me and made me to see myself and how deceiving this flesh is; and, has made me to recognize and realize it's deceptiveness, and how much pain and hurt it does to others.

    Please forgive me.

Trooth Seeker, it is necessary for me to apologize to Jim and Mary for my wrong doing of using them to do the work of God.

Jim and Mary probably still hate me; however, that does not stop me from loving them and praying for them. We are commanded by God to feed our enemies and to give them water to drink.

However, that does not mean that I agree with what Jim is teaching. What Jim is teaching is false doctrine and God's word verifies this. Truth mixed with a lie is a very dangerous and poisoned cocktail to serve to people, and this is the cup of Babylon, The Harlot, that is described in Revelation and throughout the Scriptures.

God's word specifically instructs "DO NOT PARTAKE" of her sin offerings. Faith increasing and sins (self) decreasing is a drink of sin offerings. This has sin in it; therefore, "DO NOT DRINK OF IT."

Three in One2 - The very first thing in your reply, "if a man is not able to speak the whole truth of God and mixes any part of false doctrine with the message, that man is not a true prophet of God", is ABSOLUTE truth !!!

As written in Deu 18:20-22, 13:1-5 there are very strict parameters for a prophet of God, He cannot make a single mistake when claiming to speak for God, what he says must come true, and if what he says is true, but he leads people away from the doctrines of God, he is also false and to be eliminated. Kudos on accurately describing the requirements of a prophet. I am in total agreement.

The fundamental problem here is that you've saddled Jim Brown with the role of prophet.
Jim Brown is not a prophet regardless of what anyone says about him. There are no more prophets in the church. Jim himself has taught this which is one of the things he happens to be correct about. There is a gift of prophesy given, but that has a different meaning than prophet as outlined and realized in the OT. Prophets were no longer necessary once the cannon of scripture was closed. Jim is a cessationist. I have seen others on this particular complaint board claim that Jim Brown was a prophet, but in the hundreds and hundreds of hours of teachings from Jim that I've listened to, I've NEVER heard him claim to be a prophet. He does arrogantly claim to be the only person teaching 'these truths', and he's wrong about that, but I never heard him say he was a prophet.

I have to dismiss your arguments about Jim being in error with regard to prophets simply because it doesn't apply. You're holding Jim up to a standard that does not apply. I do want to point out that I've seen Jim Brown teach unbiblical doctrine at times. I too have a gift of discernment. I've also seen the personality problems crop up in his teaching so I can see there are problems behind the scenes. The person who recently posted that church groups will attempt to hide the dirty laundry for the sake of appeal to the paying public was right on the mark with churches in general because of the fallen nature of man, and the problems of the flesh. Grace and truth is no exception.

I would like you to please consider a passage from the bible. Please look closely at what's being said. Jas 3:1 Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. Jas 3:2 For WE ALL stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a PERFECT MAN, able also to bridle his whole body.
Please consider this text when you're evaluating any bible teacher. Jim is not a prophet. He's a bible teacher, and a pastor. You see in this text that in order for Jim to teach perfectly he would have to be a perfect man. No man was ever a perfect man except Christ. God has chosen to feed the flock with imperfect men. We need to accept that.

It's the duty of the body of elders to correct each other (please consider Acts 15 where Paul had to go to Jerusalem to correct the Apostles there that were drifting off track heading back to Judahism), also the congregation should be a source of checks and balances as well. I think one of the biggest problems with Grace and Truth is that it's a 'one man show'. Jim has not put himself under a body of elders for correction and thus has gotten out of hand at times as EVERY man will, due to pride. The flesh needs checks and balances. Jim teaches a large number of bible truths wonderfully. Jim makes a number of errors too because he really answers to no one and refuses correction which is not good. If I had to make a single criticism of Grace and truth, it's the fact that it's run by one man, and thus gets a black eye because of the fruit of that situation.

I find that you miss the real problem, and nit pick Jim's teaching on Sin vs. Faith which is a biblical teaching to a large degree. To condemn the teaching as heresy because it has some remote similarity to something pagans teach is irrelevant to me. Jim teaches Salvation by Grace through faith, and he does it very well. If he were to engage in promoting works as a means of growing faith and removing sin, I would agree with you, but he doesn't. There are old pagan teachings about virgin births, and saviors dying for men. Should we compare this to the truth about the gospel of Jesus Christ and say that our teaching is pagan because they somehow copied some aspect of truth? No.

I feel you avoided my questions. I think you're straining the gnat, and gulping the camel. I also get a flavor from your comments that you may had been hoping to dominate the teaching at grace in truth for yourself. Perhaps you desire to have a church of your own. It comes out in your comments as I read them. It's true that Grace and truth ministries has imperfections in it, but I must assert that you do too. I would also guess that you have trouble finding a place to worship because you're looking for a level of perfection that does not exist in the body. Perhaps you're also looking for a certain amount of control as well.

I listen to many bible teachers and every one of them makes at least one error somewhere.
There are no prophets in the church age. God is using imperfect men to feed the sheep. Pushing aside the smaller proportion of error in Jim Browns teaching, he does represent the bible in a truthful way much of the time, and there are many people who are fed by this and that is the point. Feeding the Elect.

I cannot address the problems with the fellowship of the physical church itself so I won't address you comments on that. You may be correct. I don't know. There may be reason enough not to fellowship there. I cannot address that, nor will I comment on it based on the testimony of people on this blog, or anywhere else. I can only comment on the teachings, and I've listened to hundreds of hours of the teachings over the last 3 years.

Grace and truth may not be the place for everyone. If your heart leads you away then by all means go. I do think it's biblical to call down false teachers, so if persons find doctrinal issues with a teacher/pastor then by all means state those errors. Tread lightly when you attack an older man (1Tim 5:1, Rom 14:4). You may find yourself in opposition to God.
I've said everything I have to say about Jim's ministry, so I'll bow out of the dialog now.

Troothseeker, if a man is not able to speak the whole truth of God and mixes any part of false doctrine with the message, that man is not a true prophet of God. God will be speaking through that man not only in the words spoken, but also through the conduct of that man. And proof of God in a man is if that man does err, that man will repent and will ask for forgiveness of his action and error of doctrine and will be corrected by God immediately to speak and walk in truth so as not to deceive himself and others.

The priests had to be perfect back then when offering the sacrifices and entering the temple and holy of Holies. God does not change. God required the perfectness then and continues to do so today.

Jim Brown does teach that man can have God and the world at the same time.

The faith that a man has is Jesus Christ (Holy Spirit) in that man. Faith is the gift of God. So what is the gift God gave us? His Son Jesus Christ.

So in other word Jim Brown is saying, "Faith (Jesus-God/Light) increasing and sins (self-world/darkness) decreasing. What Jim is teaching is antichrist doctrine.

Jesus strictly said per the KJV, "John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."

In the Greek text it says, "John 15:19, "If of the world you were, the world would their own have loved; but that of the world YOU ARE NOT, but I CHOSE YOU OUT OF THE WORLD, therefore hates you the world."

Notice God distinctly said those He chose ARE NOT OF THE WORLD (self-sin/darkness). One question God wants me to ask all of you on here. Do you believe God or do you believe Jim Brown?

Remember, God said we are not of the world. And what are the things of the world? The lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, which is sin/self.

Jim Brown believes and teaches the world decreases and faith increases. So in other words, John 15:19 mind as we'll be translated according to JimBrown's teaching to read, "If of the world you were, the world would their own have loved; but that of the world you are gradually denying; therefore I chose you to decrease to the world, therefore hates you the world."

    Now, who do you believe?

Three in One2 - Thank you so much for taking the time to explain. I have a few questions for you. Please provide a yes or no answer to the questions. An explanation for your answers will certainly be appreciated, but I think the questions are concise enough for binary answers as well. Thank you for your time in advance.

Does the amount of sin in the life of a Christian decrease over time as God grows them toward the image of Christ? (Rom 8:30, Phil 1:6-10, 2:12-13 ...)
Does the amount of faith that a believer has increase over time as God grows them toward the image of Christ? (Rom 4:20, 2 cor 10:15, Eph 4:13, 1Thess 3:10, 1Tim 6:11, Titus 2:2, Heb 12:2, 13:7 ...)
Without asking if there is a complete one-to-one relationship between sin in the flesh and the amount of faith a Christian has, is there any relationship 'at all' between the amount of faith that a Christian has, and the amount of sin in their life? (Rom 14:23)

1Jo 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them (them is also means "self" in the Greek) because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.

That's why greater is He than self/sin that is in the world. Are ya understanding this? God's word clearly states that we are of God and have OVERCOME (conquered, obtained the VICTORY) self. And why? Because Christ in us, IS THE VICTORY to make us overcome sin/self.

That is why faith (not of this world) increasing and sin/self (to be of this world) decreasing is false doctrine. Because when Jim teaches this Jim Brown says that you can be "of the world" and be "not of the world" at the same time. Jim Brown is denying the power of God and the works of God in a man and this is the spirit of the world (the antichrist) that Jim teaches.

1Jo 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

Jim Brown is mixing that of God (not of the world) with Belial (that of the world) and the world hears Jim and listens to him.

1Jo 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Those that don't heed to this warning on here, even Jim Brown, God clearly states we hereby know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Spirit of "error" in the Greek means: G4106 πλάνη
    Pronounced plan'-ay

feminine of 4108 (as abstractly); objectively, fraudulence; subjectively, a straying from orthodoxy or piety:--deceit, to deceive, delusion, error.

That's why men deceive themselves thinking that because they stop celebrating Christmas they are home free, yet they are in worse state that those that do the rituals, because the spirit of the Christmas they worship.

That's why God commands us to WORSHIP Him IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH.

Jim Brown does not know what this means due to Jim teaching the spirit of Christmas and living in the spirit of Christmas, which is Baal worship, the Alchemy (Philosopher's Stone) beliefs and doctrine.

Troothseeker, does that now make sense to you? Can you now see and understand? May God open your eyes and mind to understand this.

Don't let this bother you. You are not alone. When God revealed to me what Jim was teaching and believing, I too didn't want to see it. God will reveal the truth to us and Jim Brown has not control over truth and Jim can not stop the works of God.

When Paul writes to the Philippians, Paul states that hearing their fellowship (their walk) in the gospel from the first day until now being persuaded this very thing, that the One having begun this work will finish (complete) it. Paul is already describing to us that they are already in fellowship (walking) in truth, and it is God making them to walk righteously and holy and that God will see to it that they continue to walk righteously and holy because Christ is going to complete and finish what He has begun in them. That's why Christ will lose none, because what He begins He is faithful to continue the work. Man will quit every time, but Christ having joined us to Him, Christ never quits and will lose none.

Paul is not stating that they are unrighteousness and unholy and will be made righteous and holy. Paul is stating that the One has begun the work due to their fellowship in the gospel (the real truth that has not been poisoned as done by majority of preachers today).

The Day of Christ is every day to those that belong to God due to having been filled fruits of righteousness THROUGH Jesus Christ in glory and praise to God.

That's why those that preach the Alchemy doctrine of faith increasing and sins (self) decreasing are waiting for the Day of Christ to come because sin is sin no matter how much sin is decreasing, Christ has not been revealed or manifested in them to undo (cease or stop) the works of the devil (sin). They live the Christmas system and teach men to live and do the Christmas system, which stemmed from the Alchemy doctrine (Philosopher's Stone).

God truly has people blinded and God has preachers blinded to not realize that they are teaching the very pagan doctrine of the Baal and Grove worship when men preach faith (light-sun) increasing and sins (self-night) decreasing. Men changed this to deceive people so that they would continue teaching and believing the Alchemy doctrine (philosophy doctrine of Baal and Grove worship) from the sun increasing to faith increasing and darkness decreasing to sins/self decreasing.

And what happened at the fall equinox? Darkness increased and light decreased. Jim Brown is preaching the Christmas system and believes in the Christmas system when he believes and teaches faith increasing and sins (self) decreasing, because this was the very doctrine that Baal worshippers taught, because with more light there was less sin due to having less darkness.

COME ON people, WAKE UP!!! Am I the only one seeing this and knowing this.

Jim Brown preaches against participating in the acts of Christmas, yet he preaches the very worse thing and that is the spiritual worship of Christmas. And by doing this Jim teaches and drills in the minds of men to believe and worship the spiritual essence of Satan.

This is very frightening, yet exciting to see God working in the minds of men to make them deceive themselves and to not see nor understand all this time it is them worshipping of Satan. The word of God has been twisted to fit the doctrine of the devil. This is a form of double talk that Jim is doing and preaching.

It was truly my fault for believing and following this doctrine and for using the tactics taught to me by Jim to make people crucify me. This is wrong. God does not want us or expects us to use men to do His works. This is no different than sacrificing children (the child) to a god. Except in this case we are sacrificing the child (children of God) to the hands of men (little gods).

We are to direct a person in the Hands of God, and not in the hands of men.

When Jim teaches faith increasing and sins (self) decreasing, Jim is teaching the Christmas system and doctrine, and is worshipping the Christmas season (Baal and Grove doctrine), the Yule log and wheel of the year. He is teaching the one side of sun increasing and darkness decreasing, but not the rest of the doctrine of darkness increasing and sun decreasing, which is sins (self) increasing and faith (sun) decreasing. The priests of Baal faced the east and worshipped the sun increasing and darkness decreasing, which is the same as faith (sun-light) increasing and sins (self-darkness) decreasing. God states the priests of God doing this false worship of the sun and applying it to His word and intermixing it with truth in His written word. Will anyone apply themselves to find out where this is stated in God's word?

Only God can change Jim Brown's heart to realize this and to know that this doctrine stemmed from the Alchemy teaching of the Philosopher's Stone, which is the "Theory of Evolution, " the philosophy doctrine that has been around since 300 AD, and applauded by Martin Luther in Christian teachings, and had become more popular in the 1800s by Charles Darwin.

Majority of Christian commentary written introduced the doctrine of Alchemy by slipping it through the back door when they wrote these books. This was done very carefully and hidden to an extent to prevent an alarm; so as to introduce the thought in the conscience of men to plant the idea of looking to the Alchemy doctrine without that person reading noticing this thinking had been planted in their mind. That's why God told Israel to not inquire as to how they worship their false gods. Because to just have a hint or sniff of how they worship false god can utterly destroy a man due to that false god having been in that man's conscience from what his eyes beheld and what his ears hear. These men knew this and slipped this in without the reader knowing it. And the whole time the reader remembers, "Oh, yeah, Martin Luther said this, Matthew Henry mentioned this, and this one said this; and the next thing you know it's what these men said and their philosophical doctrine that is applied to the word of God and is taught to men this way. While all along the man teaching and those hearing are unaware of the whole thing, which continues to be a hidden doctrine. There is not only such thing as double speak or double talk, but God has revealed to me that there is a double text of written words by men, just as there is double talk.

This was also done with the doctrine of denying yourself and taking your own cross, yet people forget what Peter did when men crucified Peter. Three times Peter denied Christ when men inquired about him being one of the ones with Christ, yet Peter stood firm and denied himself and his cross, and instead lifted high and recognized the Cross of Christ when he requested to be hung up-side down due to not being worthy to be crucified as his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Peter clearly denied himself and lifted high the Cross of Christ and stood firm in truth and recognized Jesus only. Peter didn't recognize his cross and knew he didn't have one and refused to be crucified as his Lord because the Cross of Christ bestowed the honor, praise and worship. Hallelujah, hallelujah, praise The Lord. All honor and all praise to Him and Him only.

However, God is faithful to lose none of His. And my prayer to God is that He opens Jim's eyes, ears and heart to realize this before he draws his last breath.

Okay. People think that man is suppose to decipher and know when to separate when a man teaches the truth and when that man does not teach the truth. This is the wrong way of thinking for any man to take with God's word. This is very chaotic and unstable ground. There is no mistake to be made when it comes to teaching truth. The priest could not make the slightest mistake; otherwise God struck him dead.

Let me ask you a question. A man makes a big beautiful pot of stew beef enough to feed 50 people or more, with all the proper ingredients. And just before having been finished cooking, the cook (that man) is seen reaching under the sink and seen taking a box and sprinkling a teaspoon of the product on the spoon. The man takes the teaspoon of this ingredient and pots it into the stew beef and stirs it. On the side of the box, the inscription and picture on the box is a skull with two cross bone written under it "RAT POISON!" Does this poison ruin only a teaspoon of the pot of stew beef? NO!!! IT RUINS THE WHOLE POT!!! The whole stew is poisoned and it is no different when preaching God's word. The slightest bit of untruth mixed with truth destroys the whole doctrine of God's word.

A true messenger of God will make NO MISTAKES, because it's not what the man does, but WHAT GOD DOES IN THAT MAN, and no doubt will be in the hearts of those that belong to Him when they hear the true message of God.

Three in One2 - I don't see the connection between Jim's teaching and the Doctrine of Alchemy. Perhaps you could be more specific. Death to Self, being conformed to the image of Christ, he who has begun a good work in you will complete it ... are all bible supported ideas. Jim asserts that the Holy Spirit will do the work in us which is also biblical and does not propose a Gnostic path. Please show the issue in this area so that I might understand. I do agree with the comments regarding problems with Churches. Sophistry does creep in due to sinful man and lack of faith that God will provide with some, and greed with others. I think this is very hard to avoid as long as we have sin with us, but should not prevent fellowshipping.

People believe they have their cross to take because of having been taught this; however, it is not our cross that we take, it is the Cross of Christ that we take, and He gives us His Cross to take due to His word stating this. That's why Jesus told the rich man to sell all his possession and follow Him, taking the cross. When Jesus crucifies us from this world, it is then when Christ puts His cross in our hearts, which has his blood atonement on it. Let's read in the Greek what is said to the rich man from Jesus, Mark 10: 21 "Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, One to you is lacking; go, what things you have sell, and give to the poor; and you will have treasure in Heaven; and come, follow Me, taking the cross." Notice that Jesus is telling this man to follow Him, and in doing so this man is taking the cross.

Jesus is not going to instruct us to deny ourselves, and then to look back at ourselves to take up our cross, and then to follow Him. Everything is about Christ and none of us. Let's read what Jesus instructs in Luke 14:33, "So, then all of you who DOES NOT ABANDON ALL of himself, possessions, NEVER BE of Me, to be a disciple." Jesus strictly states that we are to ABANDON ALL (everything) about ourselves, so why in the world would he tell us this and then go back on His word and state that "Oh, by the way, you take your own cross." Christ does not want us to possess nonething about ourselves, much less our own cross. Yet majority of preachers today, Jim being one, teach this.

This and many other things that God was letting me see was on my heart to discuss with Jim Brown for the last couple of years during my time of attending Grace and Truth Ministries before my leaving there. However, we must not forget that God has Jim Brown believing and teaching that men are to deny themselves, to take up their own cross and follow Jesus; and to be conformed (evolve) into the image of Christ, which is the theory of evolution that has been taught through the Alchemy teachings (philosopher's stone) and developed drastically in the teachings in the schools as the "Theory of Evolution" by Charles Darwin.

The "Theory of Evolution" first started in the Christian teachings way before Charles Darwin made it famous in the 1800s. Martin Luther applauded (praised by acclamation, or other means; commended) this doctrine of the Alchemy (Philosopher's Stone), which is also the going through the fiery trials of being sevened to transform lead into gold, which is not attainable in this lifetime, was very popular in 300 AD and continues to be so today.

Jim Brown does teach this about being "sevened" and "going through the fiery trials and persecution of men" to be conformed to the image of God, which is the teachings of being circumcised by the hands of men. Yet, God tells us that we now have a circumsion "not made by hands" (a circumcision not made at the expense of men or their works).

Paul tells the church in Colosse, Colossians 2:10 that, "THEY ARE IN HIM (Christ) HAVING ''BEEN FILLED''; Who (Christ) is the Head of ALL rule and authority (satan's kingdom no longer exists due to Christ's heal crushing the head of satan, when Christ set's His throne, His kingdom, in our hearts.) Colossians 2:11, "In Whom (Christ) also you were circumcised with a circumcision not made by hands (the works of men), by the putting off the body the sins of the flesh, but BY THE CIRCUMCISION OF CHRIST, co-buried WITH HIM in the BAPTISM. What were the ordinances that were againt us? It was the circumcision of the flesh by the hands of men, that were contrary to us, and the works of men was taken out of the midst, having been nailed to the cross, and having stripped the rulers and authority of men (satan). And Christ displays this circumcision that He does in us publically, triumphing them in it. Therefore, it's not the works of men that puts off the body the sins of the flesh as Jim has taught for 20+ years.

If, then, you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why as living in the world, are you under decrees (the circumcision or works of men to evolve you into the image of Christ): Not touch, not taste (to partake in it when served to you), not handle, which things are all in CORRUPTION in the using - ACCORDING TO THE INJUNCTIONS AND TEACHINGS OF MEN. Which things is a repute indeed having of wisdom in self-imposed worship (to take your own cross) and humility (to satisfy men) and unsparing (not merciful or forgiving) of body, not in honor any, but for SATISFACTION OF THE FLESH."

Therefore to take your own cross is to satisify your own flesh, which is to look at the works of your cross and the works of men to condemn you to your cross, while the Cross of Christ is ignored with no honor having been bestowed on His works. Jim teaches that man hate us and persecute us to conforme us into the image of God. However, God states that we are hated due to God already dwelling in us and it is Christ in us that men hate; therefore, we already have the image of Christ in us for men to hate us and persecute us.

Did you know that Peter denied and refused to recognize his cross when he was crucified? Peter refused to be crucified as His Lord and Savior was crucified due to knowing that he was not worthy to have men crucify him to a cross as Jesus was crucified to one. Yet, Jim Brown teaches that we are to be crucified to a cross just as Christ was crucified to one, and that men will hate us and that they condemn us to our cross as Christ was crucified to His. This teaching is to teach the CIRCUMCISION by the hands (works) of men. Peter was literally crucified, yet Peter refused his cross and instead recognized and lifted up high the Cross of Christ.

Colossians 3:1 "If, then, you were raised with Christ, THE THINGS ABOVE SEEK (His Cross), where Christ is at right of God sitting; the THINGS ABOVE MIND, NOT THE THINGS ON EARTH (the works of men). For the life of you has been hidden with Christ in God. When Christ is revealed, the life of us, then also you with Him be revealed in glory." Christ is revealed to UNDO (to cease, destroy completely, put off) the works of the devil as is stated in 1 John 3:8. And why is this? Because sin (the works of the devil) is death (no LIFE). Christ is LIFE. That's why it is UTTERLY impossible for a man to be dead and alive at the same time as is the teaching that Jim Brown preaches with faith increasing and sins (self) decreasing. This is the Alchemy teaching and doctrine and is about being slowly transformed (through the theory of evolution) into the image of God. This is saying that God is satan and is having to transform slowly into holiness over a period of time.

It is not a man that is holy and righteous, but it is God that is faithful to His word to do His work (make His abode) in a man to make the man live holy and righteously before Him, due to Christ having joined the man (His wife) to Him. Jim Brown is teaching that a man becomes holy and righteous by the works of men (the things on earth) and that's why the Alchemy pagan doctrine of faith increasing and sins (self) decreasing is being taught. To live righteously and holy is never attainable in faith increasing and sins (self) decreasing due to looking to the works of men and not to the works of God in a man. As Jesus was asked in Luke 18 "And those hearing said, And who is able to be saved? Jesus said, The things IMPOSSIBLE WITH MEN, is possible WITH God."

Is this Jim Brown's fault for my believing this doctrine that he was teaching? No. It is my fault for my relying on man to teach me the doctrine of Christ. When people are taught a doctrine for so long, even though it is false, they will make the false doctrine fit their thinking and conform to the instructions of men so as not wanting to believe that such a person could deceive them. People are scared to be truthful and honest with themselves and other people. And why is it that it is possible for me to say this? Because this was exactly where I was for the last several years. It was me expecting man to conform me to the image of Christ due to having been taught this by Jim for several years. And it was my fault for using the ministry to beat me and conform me to the image of Christ. For a man to expect the works of men to do the works of God is wrong.

Will men hate us for walking holy and righteously? Yes. But we don't intentionally go out and look for a fight or make something that it's not to get men roused up to hate us. God said that is going to come, because it is Him that they hate in us. That's why Jesus said in John 15:18 "If the world hates you, know that Me before you it has hated."

This proves that faith increasing and sins (self) decreasing is a lie. People hate Christ in us; therefore, that's why they hate us. Christ has already crucified us and separated us from the world, because the world loves their own. We are not of the world due to Christ having separated (crucified us); therefore, the world hates us. Christ dwells in us to make us bow to His will; therefore, it is impossible for a man to make us bow to the will of God and to be conformed over time into the image of God when we are already hated due to Christ having already birthed us by His Holy Spirit.

That's why there is now in me more love and compassion for Mary and Jim due to God having used Mary and Jim to get me to this point in my life for me to know and understand the truth of His word. Even though the experience was horrible and seem terrible, the end result of God's work is beautiful and beyond any teaching by a man. We must first taste the sour and polluted works of men before we can taste and eat of the servings from the works of God's hand; and to cling to His Cross, which is the prayers of the saints (Christ making us to bow to the will of God) arising up as a sweet smelling savor to the Father.

Wow Toni!!! What you said is so accurate and true. And what is so amazing is that people such as myself were one of these people that just didn't want to see it or believe what we were seeing in this ministry, acting this way, was true. It was my fault for sticking around thinking that it would change and things didn't change, but instead got worse.

God has Jim Brown ordained to have this ministry acting this way, and it all boils down to my not listening to God when He revealed the false teaching of pagan worship of the Alchemy doctrine that Jim Brown teaches. On Facebook it was mentioned to others by me to research the false doctrine of "faith increasing and sins (self) decreasing;" "to take your own cross:" and of "being sevened;" and the "transforming in the image of God through trials and persecution of men, being purified into gold" that Jim Brown teaches, to find out where it stemmed from. And guess what? No one cared to check it out. Even though God had me check out and investigate what Jim was teaching since June of last year at the picnic after seeing what Jim wore, no one cared to check or research. And why is this? Like you said, people have invested too much and are scared to be truthful to themselves, and don't want to face the facts that they have been deceived by a man.

God will hold Jim Brown accountable, but we must not forget that God WILL ALSO HOLD US ACCOUNTABLE for following a man, instead of following Christ. It was my fault for listening to Jim Brown and for taking what Jim taught and making it to fit scripture. It was me reading God's word to get Jim's teaching out of it. God's word was taken out of context by me to agree with what Jim was teaching, and THIS IS WRONG. Is this Jim's fault? Yes!!! However, it's me that is held more accountable due to my converting and changing God's word to fit the doctrine of a man.

What Jim teaches is the Alchemy doctrine, which the Masonic teaching comes from and my reason for knowing this is because of my upfront involvement of having been initiated by a Mason, and my having been in their Masonic temple on several occasions in the Eastern Star, and the very rituals, which God had me depart from 30+ years ago.

What God had me involved in back then for me to know how this Alchemy doctrine (the Philosopher's Stone) is being taught by Jim Brown and by majority of all the churches today.

Churches are businesses. Some people never seem to realize this. Jim Brown and his inside crew play church politics the same as every other organization and business that I have encountered in my life. This no longer comes as a surprise to me. The primary goal in their politic is maintaining an appearance of harmony within the church and flawless uprightness in the leadership so that potential new converts, and those living at a great distance will get a good impression of how the church body functions. Obviously Jim's main source of income is tithes and offerings from listeners living far away who don't attend the gatherings regularly, so it is important to him that they remain as contributors. He and his paid staff will do anything they can to whitewash the background goings-on among the Hendersonville Tennessee assembly to remain palatable on video. This includes video editing and restricting/pulling certain sermons offline, and a whole slew of immoral behavior including colluding together on twisted versions of the facts about things that often happen behind the scenes, some of which happens to bleed out onto video. Jim will do everything possible to look flawless in the eyes of spectators even though like any human he is far from it, and will often engage in immoral behavior in order to do so.

Why does such behavior come as a shock to so many? If one is gullible enough to follow after and give their life and energy to any church ministry, they are making the bed in which they will sleep, and will reap a whirlwind.

There are many genuine people who attend the fellowship who have built their lives and their worldviews around the assembly and Jim Brown's teachings. Many of these will defend him no matter what he does because of the great cost, sacrifice and personal investment of their lives and time which they have poured into Grace and Truth Ministries, some having even moved their families hundreds of miles to attend the Hendersonville Tennessee assembly. To turn away from the ministry would mean they would have to acknowledge their personal error in judgement, and that is considered too unpleasant for many to face.

A man can clean the outside of the platter by getting rid of the Xmas, Easter, Halloween, and all the other pagan festivals (the washing of the hands); and, offer this as a gift or sacrifice, but yet they leave the other part undone, which they have no control over; and, that is to clean the inside of the cup. And why is it that a man can not clean the inside of the cup? Because it is God that can only clean up the inside. God requires mercy and not sacrifice. The knowledge of God more than burnt offering!! And as Jesus said, "Go ye and learn what that meaneth. I will have mercy and not sacrifice."

Men today are taught to offer a burnt offering (forsaking Xmas, Easter, Halloween, and all the other pagan rituals) yet the most important of mercy, compassion and forgiveness is left undone. And that part that is left undone is what God requires in a man. A man that has mercy, compassion, and forgiveness is a man that has God working in him, because God requires mercy and not sacrifice.

Jerrymichigan, what you say is true. Jim Brown does teach Christ and Belial in communion with each other when he teaches faith (Christ) increasing with self (sins/Belial) decreasing; which is Christ and Belial communing together.

Jerrymichigan what you said about the doctrine being taught is exactly true; and that is exactly what faith increasing and self (sins) decreasing doctrine is: it is the doctrine of putting Christ (faith) with Belial (sins/self decreasing). This doctrine being preached is stating that you can be joined to God (faith) and separated from God (sins - death decreasing) at the same time. Only those that belong to Christ that He has opened their eyes and ears to understand this will know that this is a false doctrine. It's the same as putting a new piece of garment (the new man) onto an old garment (the old man); and putting new wine in old bottles.

And when a man teaches that you are to take your own cross, that man is stating that you are God and that you are atoning for your own sins. It is the cross of Christ that works in us to crucify us to this world. It is Christ that separates us from this world, it's not another man by his persecuting or hating us that separates us from this world. It is Christ that separates us do to having chosen us OUT OF THIS WORLD. And when Christ does this, it is then when men hate us and persecute us for the works Christ does in us. Because Christ has crucified us from this world, the world hates Him, and thereby hates us. The world loves their own. We are not of the world. That's why the doctrine of faith increasing and sins (world decreasing) is a lie. That's saying you can have God and the world at the same time, which is clearly FALSE DOCTRINE.

Jim Brown teaches this doctrine, and the doctrine of the Alchemy and the Philosopher's Stone, which is HARRY POTTER and sorcery doctrine; and, that a man must be sevened by God into perfection which is not attainable in this life time. God has ordained Jim Brown to teach this doctrine. And it is my fault for believing this doctrine and is my fault for not following God and His word. God clearly preaches against this doctrine. It was about me pleasing man and not pleasing God.

What God has ordained we are to not fight against it. To do so, is to go against God. We are to rest and know that God stated in His word that He has vessels of wrath fitted to destruction. Does this mean that Jim Brown is a vessel of wrath? We don't know, that is why we are to continue to preach truth. Who knows, even just maybe God will open Jim Brown's eyes to know that a tremendous amount of commentary written by men had slipped in through the back door of their commentary the doctrine of the Alchemy and the Philosopher's Stone.

Martin Luther applauded this Alchemy Doctrine in the Christian teachings. Martin Luther and Erasmus were very close friends until Erasmus refused to join Martin Luther religious party, at which point Martin Luther attacked Erasmus on the free will doctrine, yet they had the same philosophical views (Alchemy and Philosopher's Stone) and beliefs. The Alchemy believe that a man is purified by seven spiritual steps (to be sevened - lead into gold) yet is not attainable in this life time.

And to carry your own cross is telling people that you are God. The Cross of Jesus Christ is not good enough therefore, you must be condemned to your cross. Yet, Peter was literally crucified to a cross, but yet refused to be hung on the cross as his Lord Jesus Christ and requested to be hung up-side down. As you can clearly see, Peter refused his cross, and instead clearly recognized and glorified the Cross of Christ instead. Yet, God has people blinded to not see this.

Jim Brown teaches all this: take your own cross; being sevened into the image of God; conforming over a perior of time or evolving into the image of God, which is the teaching of EVOLUTION which is the Alchemy Doctrine and the Philosopher's Stone Doctrine; and being circumcised by men (through their hating and persecuting you) instead of by the circumcision of God in your heart.

Yet, God has ordained Jim Brown to teach this doctrine from the very foundation of the world. And why? It is the will of God, so that those of us can glorify God even more to know that His word is true.

These pages are absolutely amazing. Must separate the man from the preaching. Ignore if you like, his comments or worldly beliefs or actions when he is not preaching. He (Jim Brown) is a man who has much flesh like all of us. I do not like many of things he says when he is "just talking". I do have compassion for those who state they have been hurt by him in various ways. I was not there in person when these things transpired, so I am not against you in any form. You know what occurred, not I. I have been led by way of the Holy Spirit to so much truth, that I had never seen before I found this ministry. He is far from perfect, but when he is preaching the gospel, I hear truth. I have had negative reactions over the years to much of what has been said and done(other than preaching the gospel), at G&T, from either Jim or others in his ministry. But I know in my heart, I am a greater sinner than all of them, and I need truth to be revealed. I do not hear truth anywhere else.

Wow, Had never seen this page before. Whoever Kyle Jones is, I see your statements are based on biblical truths. Those arguing against you and Jim Brown are just denying truth. But of course, God does not allow vessels of wrath eyes to see and ears to hear.
Almost everything that is stated against you and Mr. Brown, appears to be based on their own feelings rather than on biblical precepts. What your debaters are stating are the thoughts and understandings of the outer always fleshly man. They are trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear and attempting to put Christ and Belial in communion with each other. Unless God changes their hearts through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, they will never see the Light.

There is no one to find fault with except with myself. It is my fault for expecting man to do the works of God in me. Even though several preachers believe and teach that we become more in the image of Christ when men persecute us and hate us; and in their doing this to us, it condemns us to our cross. It is my fault for believing them. God states that we are to follow Him.

It is my fault for believing man and for relying on the works of man to circumcise my flesh with their persecutions and hatred toward me to evolve me into the image of Christ.

We can try to expect men to clean the outside of the platter, yet all along the inside is filthy and corrupt, because it is Christ that can only clean the inside of a man. The outside is cleansed yet the inside is left undone. Why? Because we rely on the works of men and we ignore and don't look to Christ and what He promised to do inside of us.

Is this Jim Brown's fault? No!!! It is my fault for not relying on Christ and His word.

The result of men hating us is because of Christ in us due to God working in us to live righteously and holy. That's why Jesus said in John 15:18 "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
Jhn 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Jhn 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also."

We are hated by men because they hate Christ in us. We are not greater than Christ, that's why that hate us because He is greater in us and it is men that hate Christ dwelling in us. We are persecuted because of Christ already having circumcised out heart with His works in us to walk holy and righteously. Christ has already crucified us and separated us from the world and that is what men hate about us.

Jim Brown is teaching exactly what God has ordained him to teach from the foundation of the world. Therefore, the truth of this matter is to follow Christ, and it is only Christ that we are commanded to follow.

It is Christ in us that men hate. The world loves its own. That's why Jesus said that the world hates Him before the world has hated us. When Christ births us in His image, men of this world hate the works of Christ in us. The world can not circumcise a man nor can crucify another man to separate us from this world, because those people with Christ birthed in them have already been crucified and circumcised by Him. The circumcision of Christ is made without hands (the works of men); that's why it is impossible for man to condemn us or crucify us to our cross. The Cross of Christ is carried in the hearts of those that belong to Christ. And why is this? Because we are crucified with Christ and are buried with Him in baptism (the washing of His blood). What does a sinful man that is holy about him that can cleanse us? None thing! That's why it is Christ who is holy and pure, and without sin Who is the only one that can offer a sacrifice that is acceptable and pleasing to the Father. And how is it that He offers this sacrifice to the Father? By Him circumcising our flesh and offering the prayers of the saints. And what is the prayers of the saints? It is Christ making us to walk righteously and holy, the sacrifice bestowed to the Father, that is a sweet smelling savor offered to the Father, by the works of His Son Jesus Christ in us.

That's why it is no longer the works of man that matter, but is the works of Christ in a man that matters. That's why men will say Lord, Lord as in Matthew 7; but Jesus will say, "Depart from me for I NEVER knew you ye that WORK iniquity." And why is it that Jesus tells them this? Because He NEVER put His Spirit in them (circumcised them or birthed them in His image) to work in them to CEASE from sin. That's why faith increasing and sins decreasing is the Alchemy doctrine (Philosopher's Stone teaching) that was APPLAUDED by Martin Luther in the Christian teachings and literature.

I think that Grace and Truth ministries suffers from a problem common to small isolated churches that have one man as the head who answers to no one. Fred Phelps of the
Westboro Baptist church was an extreme example of this problem. I realize that Jim's teachings are spread out over an ever widening audience, but it's still a small isolated church in how it's governed. While it's true that Jim reads some of the letters of those who would present a rebuke, it's not the same as having a body of elders to answer to, and he simply dismisses these criticisms out of hand with an air of contempt.

Pro 18:1 Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire; he breaks out against all sound judgment.

Without a body of elders to regulate him, an individual leader will most probably go astray being filled with pride and becoming puffed up in knowledge and having power over others. This is the kind of isolation I would apply the text to. I don't believe that God intended for his church to operate this way. Imagine if Paul were not there to regulate the Apostles in Jerusalem how they might have slipped into legalism more easily (Galatians, Acts 15). I believe it's God's will that iron sharpen iron and humility be cultivated in us by having others to restrain us, even when we don't think anyone is as smart or as well studied in the bible as we are (a little sarcasm). As emach has pointed out, it only takes watching a few of Jim's sermons to see the problem. Of course Jim won't be able to see the problem himself (1 cor 4:3-4), nor will the people in the congregation who lack discernment, and or fall into the trap of following a man. In the case of those who Do see the truth, Jim being a one man show will be able to chase those in the church who do raise opposition away by intimidation via public humiliation, or by other manipulative means. I don't mean to single
Jim out with this problem. It may happen in every case when a church is not structured properly. Pastors really need to put themselves under other men. It's biblical. Jim teaches much bible truth, but receives a black eye over the fact that he is the sole authority in his church operating with no restraint and believing no one else understands the truth, or is qualified to teach it besides himself. I also wonder if Jim is mentoring a replacement. The one man show is also weak in the area of mentoring. When the man falls ill, or dies, the church usually breaks up leaving members to seek out other churches. This is not necessarily a bad thing and we are comforted to know that God's will is always done so the Elect are taken care of, but a church structured as God would have it would provide a bulwark against this problem as well.

3 in 1 -- I pray that our Lord will give you peace in the face of your trials. I do not question the truth of what you say. In your shoes I would avoid meeting with any man who is a pastor or has any other role in a church one on one, and it's totally inappropriate for a man, any man who is not your husband to interact with you in such a manner. Shame on Jim Brown for being so arrogant in doing such a thing at any time, place and for any reason with you or any other woman in the church. He's not following prudent biblical protocol in such a case.
As emach and you have mentioned, it's fairly evident that Jim has personality problems that constantly show through in his teaching. I think about the deceptive power of sin. We can't really hide who we are. If nothing else, God will allow us to be deceived as to think we are justified in our actions, so we will move ahead boldly in our unrighteousness and all will be able see this. In my earlier postings I have taken an analogy that Jim himself provided in the past of chocolate and gasoline mixed teachings of pastors and teachers. The elect can separate the gasoline from the chocolate (with the help of the Holy Spirit), and so it goes with the Elect listening to Jim as well. I see plenty of Gasoline at times, and chocolate at others. I don't know whether there is some gross sin in his life that blocks him from teaching a greater degree of truth, or if he is just another false teacher operating on a level closer to truth than some others. It's my hope and prayer that God will 'grant' him repentance to come to a [complete] knowledge of truth (2 Tim 2:25).

Emach -- I agree with you. Jim makes it very obvious that he thinks his word on all matters is final. He doesn't even really listen to the people who are speaking to him. He obviously thinks he's above everyone in knowledge and how to use it. Knowledge does in fact, 'puff up'. He also states that no one else teaches bible truths as he does. As I see it, this reveals the fact that Jim either doesn't understand or believe some of the bible, or has a level of pride beyond imagination if he truly believes he's the only man on earth that teaches truth.

I've listened to Jim describe his father's personality. Jim may have progressed to a more truthful interpretation of the bible than his father, but he has not progressed to showing more of the fruit of the spirit than his father with regard to arrogance and temper. I cannot see what goes on behind the scenes at his church, but I believe the arrogance and aggression in his teaching to be the tip of an iceberg that does have a greater mass below the surface. I think it would be wise for Jim to step down and allow someone else to run the church before he does more damage, but alas I'm certain he has too much pride to even consider it.
My wife cannot stand to listen to Jim because of the ungodly delivery of his message at times, and the mocking of people unnecessarily. She considers him to be a petty little man. I have sometimes wished I could edit his videos before I've shared them with friends because I wanted to extract the truth, and leave the ungodliness on the editing room floor so to speak. Not knowing how to do this I no longer share them with others.

To this day I do sample his teachings from time to time (he seems to be in a 3 sermon rut of repetition as of late) and Imagined that if I lived in Jim's town I would not be fellowshiping with his group because I would fall into the same problem that you did, emach, without a doubt. On a brighter note as I have widened out in my searching for bible teachers on the Internet I've found teachers that meet or exceed Jim's knowledge of the bible in eschatology, doctrines of election, and other topics. Jim does have some strengths but he's not the only one. I am still thankful for what Jim has taught me which is much, but I've moved on. Again I pray that God straighten Jim out (if it be His will). If Jim is just another false teacher, then he is merely a judgment to the vessels of wrath who are meant to make up his congregation. Somehow I have trouble thinking the latter about Jim. God only knows. Time reveals all truths regarding the hearts of men.
