Global Warranty Corporation Piece of poop

Global Warranty is a piece of poop.

They lie, cheat and steal to make money and provide nothing. They cancel warranties that become unprofitable and somehow get away with it (for now).

They lie on platforms like BBB and have fake reviews on google from their dealer network which is a complete conflict of interest when you consider the dealers writing the reviews make money off each sale they make for Global Warranty.

Global Warranty Corporation Terrible company and horrible service

They didn't honor their warranty offered only a portion of a single part covered but no explanation as to why they only approved a portion of the part's cost even though it should have been covered twice over according to the warranty. It took months with constant follow ups because they kept saying they'll get back to me and never did. I eventually asked if I can escalate to speak to a manager and got ignored. I escalated to upper management with professionalism and they rudely told me that my complaint is nonsense and that they're canceling my warranty simply because they don't want me as a customer. Pretty sure that was against contract law. Bottom line, the management team are scum and the company is a fraud. Should be investigated.

Recommendation: Stay away

Global Warranty Corporation What a bunch of crooks

Sold my car with a 5star warranty by global.. Called to confirm that I can transfer and was assured I can.. All buyer had to do is show purchase agreement and service records and pay a transfer fee.. Policy. Says policy is transferable.. Buyer did everything required and submitted all paperwork.. Customer service said all good... Then 2 weeks later I get a call from the vp claims bill strube (extremely rude) saying he denies the transfer and does not have to give me any reason at all as global has the right to do that... Went on saying that I had 2 claims (total less them what I paid for the policy) and they do not want to loose any money... Said he doesn't care if I take a lawyer... Refused to give me any official reason... Googled reviews and they use the exact same wording for others who tried to transfer their policy... This is a scam!

Recommendation: DO NOT BUY FROM THEM ANY POLICY !

Global Warranty Corporation Never Again

So I was coming up on the end of my warranty (Top of the Line) and my transmission went. $300 tow charge and they covered $50, you cant even get a response for that. So I get the car to the shop and after they sent in the repair cost I waited a week for an answer. Then they wanted all my service records. After receiving them the they went scrap yard shopping and came up with a used transmission with over 180,000 km on it. So it ended up costing me couple thousand extra to get a rebuilt.

So fair warning to all find another warranty company

Recommendation: Don't do it look around elsewhere

I would give this company less than 1star if I can. Do not ever buy warranty from this company. My caliper seize and it affected other parts of the vehicle and they won't cover it. I understand if I cause it, I fully understand the parts cover, wear and tear etc. but this company won't even listen to you and the assistant manager *** was not very nice. Instead of getting less stress if something happen to your car. They make it worst. Very bad experienced.

Amazing value for cost. We put both of our vehicles, a 2005 MB G55 and 2012 Audi Q7 under warranty and it's been a life saver having Global Warranty cover and subsidize repairs. Highly recommend.

I wasn't sure what to expect with my warranty, I've heard mixed reviews on different providers. I can assure you I made a great decision going with Global for my warranty. A couple phone calls later my claim was approved, processed and my vehicle was repaired within days. I did a prepaid deductible when I purchased it and it has already paid off. I highly recommend Global Warranty for anyone considering protecting their vehicle beyond their original warranty.

I have had two clams since I bought the suv, both times the dealer handled the claim, which was handed promptly. I have had dealing with other companies with rather poor results. I am happy to give 5 stars to Global Warranty. Keep up the good work

Global Warranty Corporation *** Don't buy their warranty!

Don't buy their warranty! What's in the fine print in the policy is only a small fraction of the exclusions, internal policies and horrendous service that prevent you from having eligible items repaired. This company makes you track them down, they're employees are unprofessional, assumptive and don't know how to listen or show a customer that they care.

I purchased a 2008 *** TT quattro coupe and purchase an extended warranty for it from Global Warranty. Two months later I had an engine problem so I took it to *** where I bought it. It was repaired immediately at a fraction of the cost compared to the non warranty. It paid for the cost of the warranty , and I still had 20 months ahead before it lapsed.

Global Warranty Corporation ***, I wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy

I wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy... I had a caliber srt4 and the clutch went out 9 months after I bought the car... I looked up my policy & what they cover, the clutch was supposed to be covered under warranty, the guy was arrogant on the phone and stated my car had a dual clutch and they do not cover that set up... well the car only has 1 clutch, it's not a semi, he more less hung up on me and I was forced to fork the bill on something they claimed to cover.

I have to admit, I thought it was all bogus , and was a bit of a gimmick. But I bought the warranty anyway and two weeks later needed extensive work and they covered exactly what they said they would, without question or even any hassle. It was actually easier than dealing with the dealership warranty believe it or not haha

Global Warranty Corporation Global Warranty is really unethical when it comes to transferring warranties

Global Warranty is really unethical when it comes to transferring warranties. They asked for tonnes of information and old service records. Even after supplying all that they take 3 weeks to respond. Even though everything was in order they declined to transfer the warranty. The did just said you have too many claims. Very poor reason to not transfer the warranty to a new owner. I honored all the terms and conditions and serviced the vehicle properly but they don't real live up to their end of the deal. Don't buy a global warranty.

Global Warranty Corporation Good company to deal with

Good company to deal with. I purchased one of the Global warranty packages through the dealer when I bought my car. I have made two claims under the plan. It was quite easily done through my *** dealer. The one time further clarification was needed for a claim, Global contacted me and was very good with their communication and understanding. Only reason for 4 stars is that my plan needed to have claims reported within 1 month and I wasn't made aware of this and it wasn't obvious on the claims brochure I was given with purchase.

I recently had my vehicle checked by the dealer and realized that I needed some repair. I called Global Warranty to check how this works since I've never done this before and it was as simple as just giving my policy number to the garage of my choice. I decided to bring my vehicle to the dealership and everything that was listed in my original Global Warranty contact was covered without any issues. Of course I understand if some things were not covered as they as not listed in my contract. Either way Global Warranty saved me from paying for most things. Good service all around. Thank you!

Global Warranty Corporation I have never had to put a claim through a warranty before

I have never had to put a claim through a warranty before. When I told my mechanic that I had Global warranty, he said it would be super easy. And it was. I was in the mechanic's for less than an hour while they installed the new module on my ***, and Global Warranty turned his request over within minutes.
I then received correspondence from Global Warranty asking if everything had been to my satisfaction, and I received a follow up call. Super impressed with the service. I thought putting a claim through would have been similar to trying to get insurance money and would have been onerous. Pleasantly surprised!

Global Warranty has been a pleasure to deal with from the very beginning. My situation is a bit more complex but I had to transfer the warranty to my name but with a little more complication. But the Global warranty team guided me step by step and was a pleasure to deal with. They were fast and I would highly recommend them. I would like a special thanks to *** and all the client service concierge and their claims team. If I ever purchase another used vehicle I would purchase warranty through Global Warranty. I would recommend to do the same or at least give them a call first and see how they can help you. You won't be disappointed!

Global Warranty Corporation Quick and painless

Quick and painless. My truck started making strange noises when shifting into 4X4, so I brought it to my local mechanic and feared for the worst. I actually forgot I had a warranty until my mechanic asked. Thankfully I kept all of the paperwork in my glovebox. My mechanic got in touch with Global, and they quickly authorized a full replacement of my transfer case! I was prepared to spend a small fortune, But instead, I paid only the 100 deductible. I also thought the warranty was a one time fix, But I found out my specific warranty was good for much more. Hopefully I never need to use it again, But if I do, I will be entirely grateful that it is there. Just make sure you get the best one they offer!

I purchased an extended warranty from Global Warranty through the dealership and when I had to use it to make a claim they denied it due to "wear and tear" but the claims department at Global Warranty said if I had "just left it and not brought it in to have it looked at and the item broke and blew apart I would have been covered". But because I want to make sure my vehicle lasts (also why I purchased a warranty) and was proactive in my maintenance it was denied. ***
Please, if someone offers you a warranty from these guys save your money. You would be far better off putting it under your mattress than purchasing a warranty from Global Warranty. The fine print allows them to say that anything is wear and tear even if you have wear and tear coverage.

Global Warranty Corporation Buyer beware!

Buyer beware! I will preface this by saying I rarely take the time to record anything negative about a company or service! I will be brief - I paid 1800 for a 6 year warranty for a travel trailer. I was told by Global warranty that to transfer the warranty to a new owner after I sold it, the cost would be $150 plus HST. When the time came to do it, they refused to honour the policy and claimed that transfers were at their discretion. They claimed that because they paid out an amount (significantly less than my policy cost) for a warranty repair that it would be "a bad business model for them to transfer this to the new owner". One of the reasons I went with this company was the alleged ease of transfer of warranty which I paid up front AND in full. I guess it is only a good business model when hard working customers pay for policies where the company always wins in terms of claims vs premium costs. Use this company at your own discretion, but I would ask some real hard questions first before you hand them your cash!

Global Warranty Corporation I purchase a 2001 *** and also purchase a Global 4 Star warranty

I purchase a 2001 *** and also purchase a Global 4 Star warranty. I had to have some service done on the engine seals and took the *** into my mechanic. They contacted Global regarding the work that needed to be done and the estimated cost of the work. When I picked up the car my mechanic sais the "Global and the Global Rep were absolutely great to deal wit! They were very responsive too the approval of the claim. All I paid was the deductable to Global. In my own dealings with them regarding understanding the policy, what is/isn't cover, etc I found them to be forthright, honest and an absolute pleasure to deal with. It should be noted that when you buy a Global Warranty from a dealer, the dealer only gives you a summary of coverage. You need to go into the Global website and print off the policy, including definitions and READ IT. I found a cluse that states you must do all scheduled warranty services, including services that extend past warranty (found in vehicle manual/service booklet). ALSO, you MUST do an oil and filter change annually. This is spelled out in the policy. I will most definitely purchase a Global Warranty again.

I purchased this warranty as piece of mind for my truck, I had taken it to an oil change shop in town where they noticed a considerable amount of oil splashed under the truck and around the oil pan. The owner also having a Ram indicated that it looks like a rear seal leak. I called Global asking for an approved repair facility and took it to them to fix. It was a back in forth thing between Global and the garage to get approvals take pictures provide a quote etc where the garage was getting upset. Eventually the repair was completed and I had my vehicle. Well it leaked even worse a day later and the truck went back to garage. I dropped it off as I was going on a 2 week vacation hoping that the truck would be ready and it wasn't. I called on what the issue was and they said Global would not payout the full cost of the original repair and was out $900. It took a few calls from me and the garage to sort this out but was eventually done and no leaks. Faulty rear seal. In the mean time not happy with the garage I was calling around town to have it looked at under the Global warranty and of the 3 garages I called no one would entertain the idea of going through Global. From what I was told Global covers repairs on a flat rate and not industry cost. I do not recommend this warranty.

to anybody reading this I have evidence of all the emails the clear and upright disregard to help anybody out. beware of this company and I please do your diligence and read all the bad reviews of this company to get a clear picture of what happens to your money when you give it to this company called global warranty company, I purchased a wheel and rim packaged for 2200 dollars in 108 for the assurance and peace of mind that if I were to go through any damage with my wheels that I could get the repairs covered for 5 years. The first time I took the wheel damage in they covered it

then 2 years later I encountered a couple more rims damaged, as I am a busy person with work, I decided to wait and have all 4 if I were to encounter more damage so I didn't have to spend time to come into the wheel repair shop 4 separate instances which would put me out of work for 8 days total 2 days for each wheel claim, I just wanted to get it all done in one shot so that I wouldn't lose income as the wheel shop did not offer car rental.

there was a miscommunication at the wheel repair place and they asked for me to pay it, after I told them to email the claims at global warranty they did not do that, and I was at the shop with repaired wheels I did not want to start a argument after they had done the work, I'm not one to NOT PAY someone for an honest days work; but I can't say the same for this company and people at global warranty, they denied my claim saying under the claim in SMALL PRINT AT THE BOTTOM that I was suppose to report it within 60 days, well I waited over that time because I did not know and was under the impression that I purchased this wheel and rim warranty that I had a piece of mind that I would be covered for the 5 year period, and what does it is matter what time I reported the incident AS LONG AS I HAVE COVERAGE FOR THE LENGTH OF THE WARRANTY, DO YOU YOU GUYS NOT SELL ME A WARRANTY SAYING YOU WOULD HELP ME IN TIME OF NEED AFTER I PAID UPFRONT THE CASH which is 2200 dollars! and all in asking is a small portion for it to be used to repair my wheels within a 5 year period? what is the goal of this company why did you start this business of taking advantage of disadvantaged people who may have not seen the small print that makes absolutely no sense, first of all, you say you will repair my wheels then the next day you say you won't because you didn't do it within 60 days, do you know I have a work and a family to feed I just to have time to miss 8 days of work to go see the wheel repair place every time i have small scratch which you apparently know that would happen, and which is why you want to take advantage of me and my family situation

Global Warranty Corporation Vehicle Service Contract

Purchased a vehicle on JUly 31st, 2023 with the Global Warranty Silver Package. Had transmission failure on my way from Thunder Bay to Toronto, for my wife's cancer treatment. Had to have it towed to Mississauga. Called Global Warranty who looked up my policy and stated that transmissions, all parts, including lines, seals and gaskets were COVERED. Went ahead with the repair. Total cost $4100. Adjuster denied claim because of Part 7, section e, which states NO COVERAGE, for rust, corrosion, water, acts of God?, salt (and I kid you not) any squeaks, rattles, whines or noises. I bought this policy in good faith, with hard earned money to protect myself and my wife, this clause protects them against any claim regardless of intent. Can't even describe the disappointment

Claimed loss: $4100

Desired outcome: $3000 (which was the maximum coverage)

Paid $3090 for warranty had a repair for gas exhaust temperature sensor Bought extended warranty in november . Check engine light came on in july 31 took vehicle into *** the code wasto repair exhaust gas temperature sensor. Cost for part was $82.12 labour $197 total $336 global ultimate warranty refused to pay.. complete waste of $3090 for extended warranty if they wont even fix and repair a cost of $336 i would never ever recomend this company to anyone

i bought one star warranty for my car that covers: seals & gaskets and many other things. My car has oil leaking from oil filter housing i bought one star warranty for my car that covers: engine, transmission, differential, seals & gaskets and many other things. My car has oil leaking from oil filter housing that requires seal replacement. the global company declined to repair my car on the bases that the seal is not part of the engine even though the did not mention which seals or gaskets covered under the policy. My warranty valid until end of year 2021.

My warranty on Vehicles Tramnsmission is valid and being denied on invalid basis. Warranty is being denied that the service wasn't done at 160K, and I have written confirmation that BMW doesn't need service at 160K, they keep denying on the same reason. I have sent them all what was needed to prove this and yet no response. I have contacted , customer service, assistant manager and whoever I could reach. am without a vehicle foe over a month now. their recommended shop took three weeks to find out about the issue and now a week and counting for approval from Global. Shop will start to bill me for storage and I cannot afford to pay the amount needed to get it fixed. No response at all so far.

The company is not considerate and flexible when it comes to Pandemic. They decline the transfer of my warranty cause of the Covid maintenance delay. Global is the only office that didn't recognized or flexible with the Pandemic that citizens are facing right now. They are very inconsiderate. They decline my warranty transfer just because of a 3 weeks delay on the oil change because of Pandemic lockdown last April. It is just less than a month due to Covid but the car was not use because of Covid and the mileage shows that car was not use that much less than the required 8000 km. I beleived some of their office is also working at home because of Covid, how come they are not considerate with their client in times like this!

Global Warranty Corporation Global won't cover what's supposed to be covered under my warranty

Global won't cover what's supposed to be covered under my warranty. This warranty was issued with my vehicle purchase in Dec 2019. Went in 5/27 for routine service to find CV axles needed replaced. My coverage includes the CV replacement. The mechanic found another issue with my transmission amidst pulling the axle, submitted for additional work (also covered under warranty). Work was denied, save replacing the cv axle. When asked why, Global blamed the mechanic shop (Semantics) and that I would have to pay for the transmission out of pocket. Asked if the transmission would be covered if they installed the cv axles and sent me on my way, only to be laughed at for asking. Now, global has violated the terms of my contract with the dealership I purchased the vehicle from. Also would not assist in a rental vehicle (also included in my warranty.) Told me I was responsible for that too.

Global Warranty Corporation Been told 2 different stories to why my warranty is being denied

Been told 2 different stories to why my warranty is being denied. They have no proof to back there claim for denying warranty Global warranty is stating my warranty is being denied because of work that wasnt done from a year ago when I never had my truck diagnosed or looked at when they're stating it was. Had my manifolds fail and they're trying to state it was the bolts that caused the issues but yet the shops are telling me completely different stories. I've had global warranty tell me 3 different reasons to why and never given any actually proof of there claim just words from the office. I bought the 4 star ultimate package and feeling like I'm being taken advantage of and being treated poorly from a company I've given just under 6000 dallors for warranties on 2 vehicles. I have the shops willing to back my claim as well. I've spoken the both places that have looked at my truck and believe I should be warranted for work.

I had Purchased my truck a 2014 *** 1500 on September 27 I had also Purchased the extended warranty through global warranties for $1499 , I went to use it this year for my driver's side exhaust Manifold leaking the manifold had warped and broken the stud and they denied my clam, so I waited a a couple weeks and brought it back to the dealership for them to try an put the clam through again, and now they are stating again that they didn't cover fasteners but on my warranty agreement there's nothing listed saying that fasteners are not covered and it clearly States that exhaust manifold's are covered I had the same issue last year on the passenger side and there was no problems having the work done thrue global warranty, but now they are saying they won't cover any of it, I would like for them to honour there original warranty agreement we had when I purchased it as that is fair , I have attached the warranty agreement for you to see

I bought a global warranty sept 2019. They are scamming me out of $2000 telling m doesn't cover my issues! I bought a vehicle in September got talked into buying a warranty through Global Warranty for $2,000 3 days later on my way up to Alberta vehicle breaks down in the middle of the Coquihalla stuck there for hours cost me $650 in tow and $200 in repairs it was something to do with the starter and the wiring for the starter they're telling me that they will not cover the starter issue or the tow bill that it's not part of what is covered under the warranty even though on the pamphlet says starters and towing are covered I originally sent in this claim November didn't hear anything didn't hear anything didn't hear anything I finally called them middle of February don't hear anything for a week or two call back for them to tell me I'm denied that none of it is covered under the warranty. ask for my money back they denied. this is a scam.

On Aug 31, my car was sent in for rim repairs and I was trying to use my Tire & Rim Protection plan which I paid $895.00 to Global Warranty Corporation. On Sept 1st, I received rejection from Global Warranty for using this plan. The reason that they gave me is that the incident happened over 60 days. At the time of purchasing this protection plan I was been informed that this warranty will cover any damage cause on the rim or tire on the "returning" of the lease, which is truly an wrong statement as I found out now. Second, at the time the incident happened it was during the public health order lock down. Since this was cosmetic and dose not effect the driving of the vehicle, it doesn't fit the definition of essential travel, so if I sent my car in for repair I'll be facing a fine up to $540. I already filed a complaint to the company on Sept 2nd, but there is no response from the company. My application Warranty #***. All I'm asking is to get refund to get repair myself.

Global Warranty's most expensive protection was unknowingly added to my car purchase. When I called to cancel, they informed me they don't allow that. I recently purchase a used car from *** Waterloo ***. I had everything in order and agreed to come into the dealership in a week, drop off my void cheque, drive the car directly to work. It's my fault for not rereading what I was signing on a Tuesday morning as I was on a schedule heading to work, but Global Warranty's highest tier of protection service was added to my purchase even though it is largely (I'd estimate 90%) inapplicable to me as I have coverage through another company and the contract specifically states it won't pay if I'm covered elsewhere. I had issues with the bank I financed with sending me my bill but as soon as I got that first bill I noticed the purchase price was significantly higher than I was expecting so I checked the paperwork I had, noticed the additional coverage, and called to cancel immediately. After about a month of back and forth with Global Warranty, my dealership, and area representatives their coordinated story of a "10 day cancelation policy" (***) changed to a "no cancelation policy". I don't want to pay for something that I largely can't use and don't want, especially not for an additional 10% of the price of my car. All I want is to cancel the policy and get this large chunk of money back.

I purchased a 2017*** from Lally Kia on 20/08 I signed the sales agreement for the car. The Vehicle was listed as in great condition. On that day I was also up sold a product called " Ultimate 5 Star 7 year/ 160 000 Kms / $5000 per Claim" This product offered by Lally Kia, sales representative is a vehicle warranty product packaged by Global Warranty. During the signing of the contracted I asked multiply times If this warranty will cover any repairs that would arise to the vehicle. I was told Global Warranty will repair the any repairs as long as I maintain the vehicle and follow the scheduled maintenance the manufacture recommends. After bring home the Vehicle I noticed the car has internal damaged and asked to have the car repaired. I was then told this is not a Global warranty claim because I purchased the car in a damaged state. So I then asked to have the Warranty with Global Warranty Cancelled. I received a phone call from a male rep of Global Warranty expressing to me that I shouldn't cancel the policy, I lt pleasured into keeping the warranty active. I think Messaged the dealer Via Email and asked them to Cancel the Global Warranty ASAP . I sent that email to the deal September29. So now im making this complaint because I was sold a vehicle that had previous damage which was unknown to me. Was I brought this to the attention of Global Warranty,Global Warranty Refused to repair those damages even though I paid $2399 for the 5 Start package. I have attached screens images showing the times I asked to have this policy canceled

false representation as to what policy I purchased . Purchased Global warranty July 15 and car from *** at *** auto sales. Was handed a contract and was told that the policy will cover my 2007 Honda . Purchased for $500 cash if not cash $699 . Paid cash . July 17, muffler off the car . *** had it repaired July 18 . Car hard to start Sept 23 2020 and called Global and was given a list of repair shops used by Global. Sept 30th 2020 , appointment at *** and driveline service . Was told it was the ground wire and it was replaced without me being informed . Was told wire was not covered under warranty and it was $150 charge but if I paid cash $120 . I paid cash . Oct 6th 2020 car NOT repaired hard to start . Called Global , was told there is a list of repair shops they use online . Called *** auto service ,appointment Oct 8th 2020 . Starter replaced same day with pick up of car on Oct 9th 2020 . Cost to me was $100 deductable with $67 charge for diagnostic . November 10 noticed coolant smell from car . Appointment at *** . Hole in top of the radiator . needs replacing . *** very busy he will call Global and then call me . Received call from *** Dec 11 2020 ,Rad not covered under a one star policy . Called Global Dec 14 2020 . *** of Global asked me to email copies of policy , car purchase and safety documents and same conversation I was told that only powertrain was covered on a one star policy . Not what I was lead to believe being handed a policy that covers all warranty of a car . It would cost over well $3000 for the highest policy to cover a whole car . I called *** auto sales to find that they are only allowed to sell 1 star and cannot sell any policy greater than a 1 star but I was given a policy in writing that clearly shows a full blown out greater than #1 star that covers all of the car . Dec 29th 2020 called *** at Global I was told for the second time that a manager will contact me . In the afternoon I received a call from a manager *** . Deceiving people by leading them to believe they are covered in their policy Is a fair practice in the eyes of Global . Global believes that it is up to the dealer to explain to the customer what is covered by the policy but Global does not inform the dealers of what a 1 star covers and does NOT offer anything but a 1 star for the dealers to sell for protection .
