Glex Hotel Johor Bahru review: Bad receptionist service and smelly bed and pillows

I’ve booked a 3 nights stay at Glex Signature Hotel JB through Agoda.com. Upon arrive at the hotel, the lift was out of service and without stated any notice. I had to walked down by using the staircase to check in then walk up to the room. Upon checkin, receiption staff was not very friendly and did not greet or even say a word besides saying about the deposit have to be paid by cash and room number. And I had to walk up by using the staircase while carrying all my luggage, stuffs and laptop bag. Upon got into the room, the room totally doesn’t look like in the photos in Agoda.com. Then okay, after a tiring day, I thought of laying to the bed and guess what, the bed and pillows had a smell, smells it had not being washed for awhile. Gosh, immediately u called to the receiption and asked, is there any possible to upgrade my room, as the bed smells something which I couldn’t sleep it for 3 nights. And he said, I couldn’t get upgraded their rooms were fully booked. After awhile I searched for other hotel nearby again and I went down to canceled stay and leave. While cancelling my stay to get back my deposit the receiptionist didn’t say a word, I didn’t want any apology but not even askung what’s the problem.

Bad experience ever.

Desired outcome: The total charge was RM439.94. I hope Agoda.com will take a step to find out more with them. And I hope I will get the next 2 nights stay refund. Fair and square.
