PLEASE stay away from Keisha Ivery at "Glamour Girls beauty Salon" in Colorado Springs, CO. I paid her almost $180.00 to sew in a weave. In less than 2 weeks, I had tracks hanging out the top and sides of my hair weave. I also had big gaps in between the braids and tracks, and the thread unraveled so easily! She did a VERY piss poor job, and I will never ever return there again!
She has posted ads all over Craigslist as if she is very experienced in doing hair weaaves, when in fact she is merely EXPERIMENTING with your hair! You will walk out of there looking like a FOOL, as opposed to glamorous! Also, she is not even currently operating out of an actual salon, and does hair out of her apartment. At this point, I'm not sure if she is even a licensed cosmetologist!
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I will upload pictures for all to view the disaster that this woman put into my hair. She is nothing but a slick hustler, and I advise yout to NOT waste $180.00 on a junk hair weave from this woman!
I agree, she definitely has to be on something to have put this bullcrap in my head!
Actually, I'm glad it is snowing here now because yes I have resorted to wearing hats now! I have spoken with some friends, and they have advised just as you have to sue her. I will be looking into doing just that!

I would expect nothing less from a TRASHY fat ### BUM [censored] rat liar to tell "half truths" about something. Well, let me break down the lies one by one shall we...
First, and foremost although the quoted price was $125.00; I withdrew $140.00 from the ATM and I gave $140.00 to her that day because she did wash & added a treatment. Again, she collected $140.00. "I like how that was completely LEFT out of her rebuttal."
Let's see on to LIE#2... She NEVER told me up front that she would not charge me to re do my hair over, when I originally contacted her about it. Come on, let's keep it real heffer!
I TOLD HER, that I would bring money to have it tightened, and at that time I didn't even realize just how bad this ### really was in my head. And her response was to just bring $40.00 and we would go from there. When I arrived to have it redone over, at that time I showed her the ###ing tracks that were hanging out the top and side of my head.
Oh, And so WHAT, my family came along with me, what is the problem with that!
I LIKE HOW SHE NEVER MENTIONS THAT DAUGHTER WAS WITH US AS WELL, AND MY HUSBAND STOOD BY AND WATCHED BRIEFLY, AND THEN WALKED BACK TO THE LIVING ROOM WHERE HE STAYED THE MAJORITY OF THE TIME! Like I said, let's keep it REAL!
And, yes when you had "so call" redid this mess, I and my husband did state that we really didn't feel that I should pay simply because of how quickly my hair came loose. And SHE then agreed, and said "she never planned on charging me", and that was that.
NOW LET'S TALK ABOUT THIS BIGGEST BOLD FACED, ### ### LIE THAT SHE HAS CONCOCTED REGARDING MY HUSBAND! FIRST, AND FOREMOST SHE HAS ONLY HAD CONTACT WITH MY HUSBAND ON (2) DAMN OCCASIONS! AND THAT IS WHEN HE AND "MY" DAUGHTER CAME ALONG WITH ME, IN WHICH HE REMAINED IN THE LIVING ROOM THE MAJORITY OF THE TIME, AND THEN WHEN SHE CALLED MY DAMN NUMBER TWICE ON SATURDAY THE 8TH!
YEA, I HAVE THE MISSED CALL IN MY PHONE, AND THEN THE SECOND TIME, I GAVE THE PHONE TO MY HUSBAND BECAUSE I SAID I DID NOT HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO SAY TO HER AT THIS TIME, AND THAT CONVERSATION WAS A CORDIAL AND CASUAL CONVERSATION, AS I WAS RIGHT THERE NEXT TO HIM! IN A NUTSHELL, MY HUSBAND SAID I WAS STILL UNHAPPY WITH MY HAIR, AND SHE ALSO STATED THAT SHE WOULD HAVE GIVEN THE MONEY BACK IF I HAD ASK, AND THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHINGGGGGGGGGGGGG WHEREAS MY HUSBAND MADE ANY KIND OF THREATS TO HER!
SHE KNOWS THIS IS A ### LIE, AND WHAT THIS DUMMY FAILS TO REALIZE IS THAT CELL PHONE RECORDS CAN BE RETRIEVED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT. AND I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM ALLOWING MY CELL PHONE RECORDS TO BE RETRIEVED AT ALL ! MY HUSBAND HAS NEVER EVER MADE ANY SORT OF THREATS TO HER. OH AND I LIKE THE WAY SHE CONVENIENTLY LEFT OUT THAT SHE HAS CALLED MY HUSBAND'S JOB REPEATEDLY LYING HER ### OFF ON HIM!

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
First of all I would like to say that you really have to be bored and have NO DAY JOB to even find a website like this. Keisha is my best friend and I have to say I started out as her client. I wear a weave all the time and I LOVE IT! Not only does Keisha do an amazing job but she is also very kind and warm. I have seen women who look like Charles Barkley walk out diva-licious. The woman who made the initial complaint was not working with a whole lot of hair and she walked out of Keishas house happy. IDK if her husband pulled her tracks out or if they schemed this stupid bogus story out of spider webs. Anyone who has ever had a weave knows that they require maintenence. So yeah...thats what the hairstylist is for. You call make an appointment and get your hair hooked back up. Keisha fixed this woman's hair for free. Also please note that if you are reading this article and you wrote it - you forgot to mention how youve been harassing my best friend and how your husband threatned her bodily harm. You and your hubby both can get it! I put that on Cali - you look very insignificant and incredibly immature. Those pictures aren't even Keishas work and you know it. Stop lying and playing yourself - you know its the best weave youve ever had! And your husband should check around every corner b/c we know people everywhere - any man who talks to or threatens a woman isn't much of a man! I feel sorry for the both of you. Goodluck and good riddens. You can take your bald headed nappy ### to another stylist - while everybody else continues to be a glamour girl. Sorry boo - next time step your game up or you can get knocked back down.

Some people just thrive on negativity and will transform a small issue into a war. Why not just take the refund as offered? There is no need to go to extremes when there is a simple resolution. You may be unhappy with your hair, but is it worth damaging this woman's reputation, family, and livelihood?

whoa, whoa lady! i am a customer of Keisha's and i have not experienced the "tragedy" you went through! when she does my hair i walk away looking fine...Glamorous actually. and you can check me out too I'm on her Craigslist page, u know the one you flagged (hater)...i am one among the many with a GREAT hair weave! i do recall seeing your hair when she was finished and the only thing wrong with your hair weave was the QUALITY of hair you purchased. now Keisha can make some bad hair look good but yours was too far gone honey that was a "piss poor" purchase...u shoulda bought the hair from keish! listen i know your upset but what you are doing is a lil over the top. ...regardless where Keisha does hair doesn't mean her clients leave unsatisfied. quit posting on all these damn sites too, you are messing with her lively hood, how she provides for her fam. and your pit bull looking husband body guard type mess you had going on was unnecessary. Well I have decided to tell my side of the story. Melissa Fluker can to my home salon to get a weave done 4 weeks ago. She is new to the springs and found me on Craigslist as most of my Army wives due. She came with her daughter and her own hair. I gave her a rate of 125.00 as I give Army wives a special price. She had explain to me that she just came out of a bad hair weave from another stylist. She was aware of her hair breakage on the top and sides. She was very nice and open up real fast about army life her husband etc etc. When I was done she used my up stairs bathroom to look at her her and apply make up. She was very happy when she left. However she did call me about 7 days later and say her tracks came up. I explained to her I was moving and couldn't fix it at that time could she deal with it until Monday She said fine. She came to my new apartment just for me to tack down her her. To my surprise she came with her husband Marvel Readers who was very rude. I was very uncomfortable because he wanted to stand in the hall way as I fixed her hair. Melissa sat down I took out her tracks as she stated other things were wrong and I re did her hair. I then told her to take a comb in the bathroom and look at her hair before she left. I even called her husband to look at it as well. He pulled me a side and she he felt his wife didn't need to pay for this service as compensation. I told him I NEVER PLANED ON CHARGING HER. I asked if we were good he said yes and they left. I then did a follow up call to her to check on her hair 2 days later. She wouldn't get on the phone but her husband did. He was the one who told me she was still unhappy with her hair and because she was pissed off he is now pissed off. In fact" I feel like coming to your house and beating your ###" is what he said. I offed to give a full refund but he said he would talk to his wife and let me know. They have now posted blogs about me. Went to my apartment manger told them I run a illegal business and she wanted them to kick me out. A mother with 4 kids . She now states that to the manger that I have burnt her hair off.I have yet to hear from the wife Melissa only her husband.I will state again I TOLD HER HUSBAND I WOULD HAVE GIVEN A FULL REFUND OF 125.00 and her 10.00 tip. WHAT SHE PAID.FOR THE RECORD THIS IS A STAFF SARGENT ACTING LIKE THIS. I Have had Keisha Do My hair and my Daughters hair for the last 12 years . I don't believe those pictures accurately reflect Keisha's work or ability. I have seen her turn Bald women into Glamour Girls . And if something like this would have ever happened you would have been refunded no questions asked. It seems to me that you are the real scam artist, wanting to get something for nothing. I don't believe those are real pictures of Keisha'a work. It's funny how this is the first complaint that has ever surfaced regarding this matter. If She did what you claim she did there would be alot more complaints . Just look at her work and all the excellent reviews from real customers, Her actions speak a thousand words, Why would she try and scam a fellow Military wife being one herself. Keisha has glamoured up half of Colorado and all of Ft Bliss with no complaints ever. A Life Long Customer.
Did you talk to Keisha? I ask because I too have had my hair done in weaves and closures by her and never had an experience such as yours. I understand stuff happens but from what I know of her I'm sure she would have been willing to re work it or refund you. Hope it all works out either way.
