I went to this lawyer to get papers through a sexual assault. Gehi said I got a very high chance of getting it. I paid them $2500 plus $400 for work permit in 2016 and never got anything done. Not even work permit for being a victim of sexual assault because the lawyer who led my case never told me to bring medical records. So my claim got denied. And I never got a work permit either. What exactly they charge me for if they unable to even file the case right? Now I call them every week for a year to get my records and they only promise to do it but they never did it. I also brought them the form for D.A. office I was waiting for almost a year. Now I cant get it from them to reapply myself since they were unable to do so. I Don't recommend anyone to use their service! Once they collect your money their work will be over. All they care is to get as much money as they can from you. Now the lawyer by name Swatalina has my case and she expects me to pay another 3K to reapply. Why I have to pay again if it was their mistake that I got refused! They didnt tell me to bring medical records. Why can't they do their job from the first time? The number of my case is 9745. Until I get my records I will write bad reviews everywhere so people will know that they are scammers who only take money but never do the job right and ruin your the case. My life is ruined because I went to them instead of doing it all myself.
Desired outcome: file my case to an immigration properly without me paying anything extra Or return me all my records and approval form from DA office so i will file myself since they are completely useless and return my money

Gehi is horrible. He treated me with no respect. And assumed I was trying to steal. When trying to explain to him the outcome of my grandparents, he shut me off completely because he raised his voice on me and I was in tears because my grandpa was in the hospital few days before, and after checking the will he made it was wrong. So I was emotional and wasn't happy with his attitude. Very unprofessional attitude and he got upset when I challenged his knowledge and questioned him. I'm from Canada and my grandparents (who lives in Queens) went with him. I would not recommend him to anyone. He does his part but then asks for money constantly because "something else" has to be done. Fooled my grandparents with his big words and talks and he kept mentioning he is old fashioned and a person of the law. His aim is to fool uneducated people. He assumed my mom's last name and made my grandparents WILL wrong, didn't ask us for our i.d. to take legal documentation of where we live and proper spelling of our names. Be careful when going with him. Others would recommend him because they are from the same descent as him, but I would not recommend him. Because he is a lawyer or an educated person, does not give the right to talk to people like that when not knowing any background information.
I went to Naresh for advice on my divorce case. This guy is rude, stupid and abusive ... he does not know anything ... he take away your money without any work. When you ask for refund he will not pay you back anything.
