G4S - problems with site supervisor

Ive been working for G4s for a little over a year now as the overnight supervisor and recently one of the guards on my shift happen to crash the company vehicle into a gate knocking the gate down i then took all necessary actions to resolve the situation and notify all parties. Now before said incident i had no prior knowledge that this guard operating the company vehicle did not have their license but apparently had been driving the company vehicle on site for almost an entire year without a license under the authorization of the original site supervisor that still currently works at that location, although he is no longer site supervisor his close friend now holds that title and since he's been in that seat the site has been nothing but foul play. To my understanding this new site supervisor was also aware of the officer driving without a license and both the original and new site supervisor failed to notify any of the other supervisors that this officer was not supposed to be operating the company vehicle. Once all parties were notified and all paperwork was completed the site supervisor told me that i was being demoted due to the officer crashing the company vehicle and driving without a license, this did not sit right with me for 2 reason one, this officer had been driving without a license on all the supervisors shifts not just mine for about a year and 2, it was never documented nor explained that he was unauthorized to operate a vehicle due to not having a license. I immediately contacted hr in Nashville to explain the situation and get a clear understanding of what i was being demoted for, Hr proceeded to ask me repeatedly about my work performance and i began to get very confused being as though I've never gotten a write up, never been late, always stayed over well past my shift, always worked overtime if necessary so to my understanding my work performance wasn't an issue but apparently the so called site supervisor had other thoughts about my work performance that he also failed to disclose with me, the question is, if my work performance was the issue then why did he wait until this issue transpired to complain about it. I find it awfully odd that there hasn't been any documents about my work performance and yet i get demoted for it! With me contacting hr about such a situation you would think they'd ask the same question but there's a lot of funny business going on with these people that sit behind desks they pay the jerks salary to sit at home and not do no work and as soon as something goes wrong to save their own behinds they demote or fire the people that actually do they're jobs, how unfair and sad that such a highly spoken of company would allow all this foul play go on and not address the issues. Some of these guards are really being done wrong and try to put up a fight to defend themselves against wrong accusations and the company wont stand behind them. One day this company will get sued and brought to its knees if they don't clean up their act...smh wrong is wrong G4S...wrong is wrong!
