The company is the best contractor I have ever worked with. They were responsive and did outstanding work in stabilizing our foundation. They took care of all permits, inspections and engineer reports all in a timely manner. Even a few years after performing the work they have been in touch and extremely helpful in consulting with inspectors during the sale of our home. Other building contractors that came to our home were amazed at the quality of the foundation work done by Nick and his team. I would highly recommend them.

Nick and his team did an excellent job on our home. A crack in the foundation hidden by a previous owner was swiftly resolved, including Nick's handling of the permits. The crew was professional and thorough. We were so happy with the work we hired them again to help us with waterproofing and again, Nick and the crew took the time to really understand the issues and provided a solution that actually stopped the water. Throughout both jobs, he was available for questions and generous with his time and expertise. Highly recommend!

It's terrifying when you think your home might collapse. It requires an Engineer's report that you must provide to the city. Nick sent one of his staff our immediately, as soon as I acquired his services. Then, he came a couple days later for follow-up and to even help me find a contractor to do the job I encountered as part of the citation from the city. He went above and beyond the service I paid him for, and his help was truly appreciated. He was timely and honest, two qualities that alone are missing from contractors in my past. The fact that he was also helpful in an area that didn't require me to pay him, was just the icing on the cake. I recommend Foundation Experts highly.

I am 2 weeks from closing on an old townhouse in Philly and requested a foundation inspection. Nick and his team were able to identify a major issue with the joists and crawlspace that was overlooked during the general inspection. This issue could have caused significant damage in the future but due to Nick's inspection, I was able to avoid this possibility. The inspection was fairly priced and the inspection saved me thousands of dollars in future repairs. The entire team was knowledgable and worked with precision. They provided me with unbiased advice and estimates for possible repairs and alteration. I highly recommend Foundation Experts and will definitely go to them for any future work.

Foundation Experts has done a lot of work for us since we bought our house, which turned out to have a lot of problems, in 2012. They replaced a collapsing sill plate; fixed the basement waterproofing system, in which two out of three sump pumps had never been connected; waterproofed the basement walls; replaced the long buried pipe that drained the runoff from the main sump pump pond; fixed downspout drainage, and a bunch of other stuff I've forgotten. Most recently they repaired and repainted our stucco patio wall and did damp proofing and masonry repair along the foundation all around the house. Their work is excellent, as near as I can tell, as well as very neat and on time. Owner Nick J is very responsive and cooperative.

Foundation Experts were able to completely resolve all of the water related issues regarding of our basement including cracking in the walls and flooding during storms. Nick took the time to look at all the aspects that were causing our problems in order to totally resolve our issues. Our project included having wall pins installed, and exterior and interior water management systems. Nick and his crew not only performed the job on time and within the original budget but also made sure everything was extremely neat when finishing each day. Since completing our project Nick still checks at least once or twice a year to make sure everything is working properly. Based on our experience I can highly recommend Foundation Experts to resolve any structural and water related issues.

Nick and team were amazing. I had 5 companies come look at our flooding basement before Nick. He was the only one to figure out the actual problem - which saved me about $10K. It was clear that Nick has a deep expertise and ability to quickly diagnose the problem. With the other 5 companies, I didn't feel I could trust their recommendation...and Nick confirmed that. Not only that, but after the work was complete, I asked for a modification and Nick was quick to agree and get the work done. His team was fast, friendly, and did great work. Nick personally inspected the work afterword to ensure it was done well and I was happy. He also pointed out some other out-of-code issues that the home inspector missed when we bought the house. My house was built in 1970 and has had basement flooding problems ever since. My father would spend hours every time it rained suctioning up and pumping water with every medium to heavy rainfall. I was recommended to Foundation Experts to see if they could provide a solution. It took extensive work inside and outside the house but the result is a water-free basement. What was a damp, musty area is now being turned into a useful living space. Without their efforts and expertise and professional attention to the smallest details, it would not have been possible to resolve this nearly fifty year old problem. The workers were cordial and moved anything needed to clear the work area carefully, without damaging anything. There were even times when they went above and beyond the expected scope of work. Since the work was completed, no flooding has occurred in spite of significant rainfalls. Along with the completion of the work, a representative came out a year later to inspect the system to assure its proper functioning and even made some repairs on items he noted needed attention; something I did not even notice. I couldn't recommend this company more; a great group to do business with at any time.

This was my first experience with Foundation Experts, LLC. While in the basement of our home we recently discovered horizontal cracks along mortar lines in our Cement Masonry Unit (CMU) foundation wall. My wife and I went online and read excellent reviews for Foundation Experts, LLC and so I gave them a call and had a quick conversation with Nicolas Johnson (president and construction manager). He arrived on time at our home following all COVID-19 safety procedures. He was professional and personable. After identifying the cracks, Nick inspected our basement foundation closely looking at, but not limited to, the plumbness of CMU wall, looking for variation in the cove joint along the perimeter of the basement concrete slab, making observations as to the condition of the sill plate and rim joist from the interior, and identifying other areas of potential concern around the water main line/sewer line and CMU interface. With each observation Nick made, my wife and I had several questions that followed. Nick took the time to answer each one. Upon further recommendation, Nick scheduled a second appointment to revisit home with licensed structural engineer for a more thorough foundation inspection/examination. Nick and Richard Green (licensed structural engineer) arrived on time following all COVID-19 safety procedures. Richard, like Nick, was professional and personable. They immediately went to work taking measurements, making video recordings, and making several detailed observations. A few days later we were provided a comprehensive report that provided professional opinions of key issues, causation, and solutions for remediation that included, but were not limited to, wall reinforcement and water proofing. Report also included a detailed proposal of work and installation and estimation of cost. Since receiving Inspection Report and Proposal of work, we have reached out to Nick with additional concerns and questions. Nick has always made himself available to answer any questions we had, and he always responded quickly, many times that same day. Nick went above and beyond to schedule multiple appointments for additional site visits, making addendums to the overall work proposal. While it is not pleasant to find issues with our foundation, we were very happy with Foundation Experts, as they not only identified key issues but also provided solutions.
