Applied at the end of December (in my husbands name) and received expedited benefits due to our dire situation. We have 3 daughters and he lost a 14yr career in the blink of an eye. We had to submit 3 things before January 3rd which we did and even tried MULTIPLE times to contact the case worker to make sure everything was in order. They wanted a document from his job but he worked in a place where we couldn't even get the document to them so the company themselves took the extra time to email DCF and give them all of the information. He was actually told by the case worker that this would be accepted in place because it had all of the information. Then, for some reason, they only wanted a copy of 1 out of 3 of my children's social security cards. We submitted it after turning it into multiple different formats because none of the ones they accepted worked, and we finally found one out of about 6 they accepted that would submit. And also his unemployment info. Which was submitted as well. We wake up on the 3rd to find that we were denied and our case being closed. The letter they included said they did not receive everything in time. Really?! We submitted a new application about a week ago, maybe longer, and finally got an email last night with a case workers number to call. Same as before. Straight to voicemail, except this time, the VM was full and we can't even get an interview. How am I going to feed my 3 girls? The toddler receives WIC but she can only eat so much peanut butter, bread, beans, yogurt, cheese, and milk. Luckily, the older 2 are okay with ramen but all that sodium is going to give my girls health problems. Can somebody please help me? We've never been in a situation like this before and we're getting desperate to the point of selling all of our belongings (furniture and things needed to live in a household). We're at our wits end.

Desired outcome: Benefits restored/receive benefits ASAP
