I'M AT HOME. ON THE INTERNET. TRYING TO GET SOME MUSIC/JAMZ FOR MY MP3, I GO TO MY CHECING ACCOUNT, I HAD ALMOST $15 BUCKS. NOW, IT'S BEEN LOWERED DOWN TO $2 DOLLARZ! I'M LIKE, "WHAT DA ###?" COME TO FIND OUT, IT'S SOME UNKNOWN, "PUNK-[censored] WEBSYTE!" FROM UNITED KINGDOM CALLED, "Family Save Discounts.com" THEY STOLE $11.98 FROM ME! WATCH OUT FOR THESE ### HEADZ! IF I CATCH THEM, THEIR BODIES WON'T BE FOUND, "GURANTEED!" I KNOW PEOPLE LAUGHIN'/CHUCKLIN' AN' ALL. IF YOU'RE ### WAS STOLEN, "WITHOUT PERMISSION!" THAT HAPPY FACE OF YOURS WOULD BE LIKE THAT TOY: "TRANZFORMERZ!" FROM HAPPY FACE, (Tranzform.) TO SHOCK, (Tranzform.) "TO ANGER!" HEY, WHO KNOWS, YOU COULD BE CLUTCHING YOUR CHEST, HOPE YOU DON'T HAVE A HEART ATTACK!

LostInTranslation:

I never signed up for any free trials of anything that I know of, but something you said has triggered my memory on something. I remember a commercial that was aired on my local radio station about getting a "free iPad2". I went to the site, tried it out, but never signed up for anything. I saw from the very beginning that it wasn't what was advertised (not sure how this commercial was able to air on radio without the radio station's company looking into things to make sure it was all legit) and left the site without giving any personal banking information.

It could be possible that whoever went to this site thinking they would receive a free iPad2 thought all they had to do was to sign up for a couple of legit sites (Netflix was on there as well as Gamefly and Ebay if I remember correctly.) Basically, you would be signing up for that service like you have stated, while thinking you're just signing up for Netflix or Gamefly. So, that would explain why those charges have appeared. However, I never signed up for any of that stuff, so I still cannot explain how these charges got to my account. I do have a Netflix account, but I had went to the Netflix website itself and signed up a few years ago.

Still, regardless, I do think you're right in saying the best approach is to file a Fraud claim with your bank or Credit Card company and tell them you have never signed up for anything.

I logged into my account this morning, and I am getting the same thing that you all have complained about. Apparently they have been taking it out for a few months now. It's Familysavediscounts for $3.98 and then something that says ITG SAVE $11.98. I have not ordered anything from the internet in awhile and have no idea how they got my account information. And, so far, the only info I have gotten is from this website.

I have had the same issue with both companies. They have both taken $11.98 out of my account and I keep trying to find out how to cancel the so called account I have with them but no luck. Please if someone has some information to cancel these accounts I would greatly appreciate it and I would also be willing to file a lawsuit or anything else to get rid of these companies and to try to get at least some of our money back. Please email me at bethyb84@yahoo.com. Thanks.

I have also had money withdrawals from my account in the amount of $3.98. When it came to my attention, I went on the Internet to the website, Sept. 6 and canceled the account the company claimed I had. However, October 8, 2010, my account has been charged $11.98. When an inquiry was made with the bank, I was given the telephone number of the company and told to request a refund because the amount had already been processed. When I called the company number from my personal home phone, without speaking to anyone, I get an automated voice stating that the account has been closed in addition to the confirmation no. I stayed on line so that I could request the money back and inquire about their services (which I have not received). In addition to this questions, I wanted to know how one can be billed after an account has been closed. I would say that we have definitely been swindled. I'm going to pursue this farther and hope you will do the same. Major action needs to be taken against this company.

I have also had money withdrawn from my account from these places. Where do they get the information to beable to withdraw money from someones account. I have thought and thought and cannot remember or think of anything that i might have filled out or sent giving them permission to withdraw money from my account, and I am sure that I never applied for a membership with them. I never even heard of them until I saw where they had withdrawn money from my account and looked them up to see what|who had withdrawn the money. How do they get away with doing this and where do they get the information needed to beable to do it? If anyone can give me any informatio regarding this matter PLEASE do.

These companies are thieves! FAMILYSAVEDISCOUNTS andDIRECTDINEDISCOUNTS both from across the pond (U.K.) have been stealing $11.98 each from my debit account for 10 months and I never recieved any discounts, coupons, or anything. What was I purchasing for all that money? It's scary to think anyone gets away with this crime. They are giving away my bank account info. I'm so mad I could spit. What can you do? I do not want to give them my money. They are crooks!

I was on the Internet applying for a loan, the next day a young man called from Belfort Capitol saying he called to verify the imformation on my application and that I had been approved for the loan. I then asked him how much was I approved for? He then told me that I would get an email to confirm my loan. When I checked my email Familysave was the only email that was there. I tried to call the number that the young man had gave me only to discover that the number was no longer in service it was [protected] he also gave me the number to FAMILYSAVE I called the number and a young lady answered I told her that I hadnot confirmed the loan and that the Belfort sight was not in my email, she told me that she had a lot of complaints from people that said the same thing I was complaining about. I then checked my online account and discovered that 11.98 and 3.98 had been deducted from my account. I then called FMAILYSAVE and cancelled the membership. I told the girl to put my money back into my account she said it would take 3-10 days to replace it I then sent my bank an email to not honor the tranaction from FAMILYSAVE. I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Beaurea, and The Consummer Fruad Division. These people need to be put out of business. We should all file a Class Action Law Suit against this company! Any one interested? FAMILYSAVE phone number is [protected]
