I brought my vehicle to Executive VW of North Haven for service on A/C compressor and steering lines back on July 28, 2022. It is now Oct. 25, 2022 and I was told I can finally pick up vehicle. During time car was there for service, I was told that vehicle was done, but needs to be checked by the A/c machine that was broken. 1 month in, they're replacing machine and waiting for it to come in, however, they will bring car to another servicing center to complete the check. I was never offered a loaner vehicle and being without a car, conflicted with my work schedule because I travel to our other office in Guilford twice a week. Around October 16th, A/C was checked only to find out I need a compressor which was another wait and another $1000. My total cost for A/C condenser, compressor, and steering lines runs $4823.50. I asked for a courtesy price adjustment due to my inconveniences without a vehicle and they take $250 (taxes) off. I've expressed my disappointment to service and general manager, and that was all I got.
Desired outcome: I've been a loyal customer since I've owned my VW, and its sad to say I couldn't be compensated accordingly. I would like a deeper discounted total cost due to all my inconveniences; $1000 off maybe.
