This vacation marketing company is a total rip off don't trust them. They are very convincing over the phone and their vacation rental marketing presentation. They have ripped off property managers and owners from income. Escape Escapia before you get burned with their marketing. They are all about themselves and don't care about the individual. They are very responsive at first but after you give them your money they leave you high and dry. Escapia is not to be trusted.

Our property management company paid thousands for the Escapia software and web site development. This product was clearly oversold by the Escapia sales team. In the end, we could have spent our money elsewhere with much more favorable results. The software on the back end is difficult to navigate, requiring hours of live tutorials before you can even get "clearance" from Escapia to use it. Entering new properties and accounting information is tedious and time consuming.
We could have continued using the basic Homeaway software while coordinating it with our existing management system, had we know that the software and synchronization was anything but "turnkey" as they had made it out to be. The front end website was basically a generic site which I could have built in one day. it took an Escapia "senoir web designer" 5 months to turn on the front page. After navigating it for the first few minutes, the site basically disappeared. After Escapia opened a "case" they determined that it was something that we did to "crash" the site and sent an email to us stating that they may have to charge us to rebuild it from scratch! The whole thing is a joke. Don't buy this product it is a waste of time and money.
Escapia Is a complete rip off I agree with you 100% they are a large company that only worries about their bottom line and their companies interest they take so much from property managers and owners. www.escapia.com says they offer vacation rental marketing but the only thing they market is themselves and rip off their clients. You should not do business with Escapia. They are simply trying to feed themselves and harm the little business owners. My reviews on escapia is an F the way to get business is by helping people not by misleading marketing and advertising promises. They have an affiliation with Homeaway and if you know anything about the vacation rental market is that homeaway is the bi elephant that is squashing the smaller managers and owners opportunities escapia and homeaway are trying to control the market and if you own a vacation rental home and are looking for advertising or marketing don't give them even more money to put you out of business and steal from you. Stay far away from escapia. Ecsapia stinks.
