I had a Home Protection plan with enercare and I was renting water heater.
I bought out my water heater in January 2021. Furthermore, some time in April 2021 (in time as I was informed by enercare customer service representatives) I informed enercare that I don't want to renew my Home Protection plan.
Regardless, I am still charged for both - water heater rental and for Home Protection plan. I called enercare customer care many times from January till now and issues are still existing. Last 3 times I was told that my issue is escalated. Few times I was even called by the managers and explained that everything is ok and that I will confirm it on the next Enbridge bill.
Last bill received on June 17th contains both charges. My last call to enercare (ref no 3277 4092) on June 19th didn't resolve anything. I was served by customer service representative named Marianna and she didn't want to listen to my complaints. She was just repeating comments that she raised priority of the tickets and that I have to wait for 2 more weeks for anything to happen. Same words I heard at least twice before. She didn't want to include the manager in the discussion.

Desired outcome: Services cancelled and refunded for overcharges
