Enchantedlanders/Enchanted Highlanders from Springfield, Tennessee (outside of Nashville) is selling Highlander kittens who are very sick with ear infections, upper respiratory infections and Giardia. I bought a kitten for $1000 and have spent at least that much on vet bills and cleaning supplies. If you know anything about Giardia, it is a nightmare to get rid of. The kitten is having diarrhea many times a day and every time, you have to clean and Clorox everything. I am having to leave the kitten in quarantine until all of these illnesses get resolved. It will be months before the kitten will be able to come out of quarantine, as you have to treat it and then have two negative tests, spaced out for two weeks. It has been on medication now for 3 weeks and still having massive diarrhea, sneezing and the inside of its ears are black and infected. I contacted her about her “health guarantee” and she will not honor it. You should not buy a kitten from Enchanted Highlanders or Enchantedlanders, as they are being released to the new family very sick and she will not honor her guarantee.
Recommendation: Do not buy any cat or kitten from Enchanted Highlanders or Enchantedlanders. They are sick with Giardia, upper respiratory infections and ear infections.
Everything I said is true about the kitten that I bought and I have test results and medical records to prove it. In the future, when one of your kittens is sick, you should resolve the illnesses before moving forward with selling them.
In my opinion, delivering a healthy kitten is the minimum standard/requirement of a breeder, and in my case, you didn’t do that.
Here are the latest test results where the kitten I bought from Enchanted Highlanders tested positive for Tritrichomonas, Cryptosporidium and Feline Coronavirus.
Updated to add: the sick kitten I bought from Enchanted Highlanders/Enchantedlanders remained sick after the treatment for Giardia. After more expensive testing, he has tested positive for Cryptosporidium, Tritrichemonas and Coronavirus, all of which are incurable. You could possibly cure the Tritrichemonas if you could get the medication for it, but the vet can’t even get it. This has been a literal nightmare!
