My son and 12 yr old daughter booked an appointment with this company, and we decided to do some research first. We went on the net and looked at the horrible things written and my antennae went RIGHT UP!
But after a long investigation from my husband and I, we found the truth about this company and the GREAT things they HAVE done in the UK, ( after alot of long distance calling ), and the U.S., and other satisfyed local customers, models, and such, over the last 20 years.
Mr. Markle is what he says he is, " ask a direct question, get a direct honest answer." Now, we are not saying he is a saint, but after his terrible ordeal with that T. Goble character, who wouldn't be seeking counceling. After only 30 min, we had a FREE test shoot with both kids to see if they would fit thier company. The pictures turned out GREAT!
Then we did pay for a portfolio, and it turned out amazing, then ordered the comp cards. 3 weeks later, both kids did recieve a payed job each! That was enough for us.

On the way ou in the elavator, we overheard a woman talking about Mr. Markle negativly, so we stopped her and told her our story. I don't know if it helped, but id could not hurt.

In our eyes, Alex Markle/ aka, Brian Markle is doing his job and checked out ok!

Ps: we all have our skeletons in the closet.

Signed; Mom and Dad, H.

ALEX, WORST BUSINESS MAN EVER. USES PEOPLE AND NEVER PAY THEM A CENT. I HAVE DESIGNED A WEBSITE FOR THE COMPANY AND THEY PROMISED THE CHEQUES WERE "ON THEIR WAY" AFTER MONTHS OF EXCUSES AND LIES HE DECIDES TO CUT ME OFF WITHOUT EXPLANATION. I HAVE LEARNED THE HARD WAY, BUT DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ALEX MARKLE/BRIAN MARKLE! BIGGEST SCAM EVER. THEY OWE ME $700 AND I AM SURE I WILL NEVER SEE THAT MONEY. I ALSO SPOKE TO THE ACCOUNTANT AND THEY CLAIMED THEY "NEVER USED MY WEBSITE" WHEN IT WAS CLEARLY UP AND LIVE. GOOD RIDDEN TO THIS COMPANY.

Thanks for the invite to join your Associates "Parents clear Alex markle/Brian Markle!", but I think I'll keep my distance. It's not too hard to figure out that it is you Brian.

Up to your old tricks again I see. When will you give up, and you get an honest job. I guess its too easy to take advantage of other people and their money, than go earn your own.

At least you wont have your parents to bail you out this time. I hear they disowned you after your last convition.

Wasn't staying off the internet one of your probation conditions. I see even jail doesnt' smarten you up.

If this is the same Brian Markle that was convicted of fraud in Lindsay 3 years ago, I suggest that all involved contact the local police and file a complaint.

This sounds all to familiar, and the Brian Markle convicted in Lindsay may still be on probation from those charges.

Lets not forget, bouncing cheque is fraud, but must be reported to the police, and not the one issuing the cheques.

Also, the Brian Markle convicted in Lindsay has a long history of fraud and deceit, and as far as I can tell from all the post I've read recently on the net about RDI Models, it sure sound like this is the same guy.

That is complete ###. How about ripping off your photographers with bouncing cheques? Since the BEGINNING. I've heard horror stories of early on photographers of your "business" and they all have the same story. Destroying their credit and ripping them off.

THE DOWNFALL OF
RDI MODEL and TALENT

RDI Model and Talent Corporation was conceived by CEO Trevor M Goble and Director Brian Alex Markle in 2009. The conception was to change on how modeling agency conduct business. The industry is latent and plagued with unscrupulous individuals who simply tax large amounts of money and really do absolutely nothing.

Then there are those agency that will take the money and provide the minimum. RDI began with an open door concept. Allowing models to come and go, provide close and private training, link them with photographers that offer substantial savings on portfolio's.

RDI was a fun environment. From time to time RDI would have friendly competition amongst their models with cash and prizes being given away. RDI prizes would include fifty dollar sears gift cards, twenty five dollar petro canada gas cards, visa gift cards, power tools, stereo's, makeup and cash.

The most common complaint at the beginning was the location was too small and reaching someone was difficult. RDI purchased and paid for a eight thousand dollar telephone system that would easily allow our clients to get connected to a representative either live or by a simple push of a button.

Then RDI moved from the east end of Ottawa to Orleans to a moderate increase floor space where models can practice is a separate and dedicated room while business could continue to be conducted in another.

The reception area was improved by offering private seating and a cozy fireplace to give a “home” feeling. RDI then began to plan for the future by introducing an acting program.

Shannon Lawson and well known and well endorsed actress promises to bring the acting program to life. However due to commitment failures the acting program began to struggle and clients became upset with management.

Management consistently attempted to correct the problems that seemed to plague the acting program and because of such dedication to correct the modeling side of the company began to slumber resulting in clients being left to the wayside.

In an attempt to bring the model program back on track RDI brought in people to specifically deal with client service at a cost of fifty dollars per hour. For the first few months clients seemed to respond positively to the efforts and management firmly believed that the modeling program was finally getting back on track.

The acting program would then be terminated by RDI on the condition that Shannon Lawson would continue to operate the program and take full responsibility. RDI would continue to provide space to allow her to teach and provide ongoing administrative support.

Once again management believed the programs where getting back on track but the location would not allow the programs to run at the same time creating scheduling problems so the hunt for a new location took place.

RDI shifted its attention to a location that would have 2 distinct sides. RDI Model and Talent would be split into 2 businesses...MTC Ottawa (Model Training Centre) and ATC (Acting Training Centre). Management secured the location and the lease was signed.

Unfortunately after the installations of the phone lines the commencement of setting up one side it was learned that there was no permits allowing for anyone to operate a business. RDI under law had to close its doors. The new landlord would never deliver the location due to the permits not being issued until mid October.

Because of the delay and the continued and ever growing debt RDI closed its doors.

It is unfortunate that RDI couldn't continue in the direction it was struggling to achieve and today both Mr. Goble and Mr. Markle have moved on in separate directions.

In closing, I would like to thank everyone who placed their trust into RDI and apologize for money's lost. Understand no one wants their business to go under and unfortunately when a business does go under any and all assets of the company go to pay creditors.

As I continue to read [redacted] and Complaints Board that RDI or Management deliberately scammed them was heart wrenching. If I had to do it again would I change things, you bet but what hurts me the most are 2 things

(1) How quickly people forgot the good things
(2) The investment some people lost and I am not talking about money, but there time and perhaps there dreams

I hope someday Ottawa you can find it in your heart to forgive and understand that the owners, managers of a business are human and they do have feelings. One last things for those people that got in an argument with me and think I threaten them don't take it personally I was protecting not just the company by everyone. If someone else came in I would be protecting you. Not an excuse but I am very protective by nature. Sometimes we all get stressed and worked up over something that today seems insignificant and after the passage of time people reflect.

I wish everyone all the best in their future endeavors and hope that your dreams get fullfilled.

Mr. Trevor Goble

Mr. Goble, you used to threaten to throw people down the stairs. My fear of reprisal is fully justified, and the police have not deemed this civil. This is clearly criminal fraud.

Anti Fraud. It is funny you seem to attack one person and I wonder why? What is a fact since Markle and Goble separated Goble is no longer mentioned. Just saying.

Challenge to posters

If you have all the evidence then you should proceed to the police. I have it on good authority the police have advised it is civil, there is nothing criminal. Small Claims Court in Ottawa would allow you to file a lawsuit and present your evidence and 2 things would happen (1) a defence will be filed or (2) nothing will be filed.

Perhaps once you file with the evidence (which is public record) a conversation on settlment may arise...you can always use a lawyer...and if you fear reprisals don't I personally can state I look at everything and try to understand the othe persons point of view. I am not saying I will agree nor simply agree. But making a claim that you fear reprisals in unjustified

If you want email me go2tmgoble@hotmail.com and you can keep your identity concealed

I've had dealings with this individual fairly recently. Immediately red flags went up and I was extremely cautious of everything he was saying. For an individual who has been in the industry for 20 years, and involved in the UK, 1 - why is there NOTHING about him on the internet except for these [redacted]s, 2 - if he was so big in the UK, why is he no longer there and why set up an office in Ottawa? Ottawa isn't any kind of fashion capital. He is a very blunt guy, and promises all sorts of things, but when it comes down to it, I don't believe he can back anything up. I was promised to work on some major fashion project, there was a set date and locations. This event ended up being postponed over and over again, this is not something that would happen. He claimed to have this contract locked down, but kept requiring test shoots. I've been in the industry for a number of years and worked on projects like that before, but never once did I have to shoot with inexperienced photographers and test shoot multiple times for something I was already hired for. I suspect I was being told they were test shoots, and he was charging the photographer. I ended up contacting the individual Mr. Markle was supposedly working with and they had no idea who he was. I would urge everyone to stay away from this man.

I find it astonishing that my name Trevor Goble gets involved with matters far beyond the existance of the company RDI. Perhaps its time to speak more openly and cander.

Yes I was the CEO of RDI with my initial primary function to assure that the business remained compliant with the laws of the land, to insure taxes where paid etc... Mr. Markle was for the most part incharge of the modeling business. Yes money was collected and yes at times disorganized but that doesn't mean I or anyone went around ripping people off. Did people request refunds, sure...did everyone get one, no.

Why because if you simply issue a refund on a request then it will set a standard that a person can ask and they shall receive. Refunds are at the discretion of the company however the Consumer Protection Act takes away that right if services are not provided and on that basis a refund must be issued.

I have been accused of alot without any evidence to support the allegation. If the person or persons truly believes what they say then provide the proof...no recourse...and perhaps a wrong can be right...

Hi Brian, remember EB Models/Flash Models you ran out of your apartment at 125 Bamburgh in Scarbourgh 9 years ago? Everyone involved with your scam then sure remembers you. How is Prosie Labo? Is she still causing you stress? Do you still write cheques that bounce for your models and photographers? Do you still use your claim of modeling fame in the UK as a way to back up your little scam? So glad you're still around. You skipped out of town just before the Scarborough police came knocking. Nice to see that they nailed you for fraud when you moved to Lindsay. Hopefully Ottawa will wise up and get you there too.

I can honestly say that when I heard this was posted, I couldn't believe it. My experience with Alex Markle has been good. When I signed on as a model, I wasn't promised any glitz or glamour. I've been in the fashion industry most of my life and been modelling for three years. I've been promised the moon and the stars and even scammed a couple of times. When I signed on with Alex Markle, I knew who he was, his past experiences and his desire to help others. I got paid work work and shoots, classes and industry advice. I got the exposure I needed and I even got paid for a trip that got cancelled. Can you believe that? Money for sitting at home. It was great.

I can't speak for everyone else's experience, but mine has been great and I would work with Alex Markle in the future.

HIS IS THE EMAIL I RECEIVED FROM THE POSTER:

Francois Latelle to me
show details 10:13 AM (3 hours ago)
Dear whomever;

It is clear you do not know the truth. I AM a mother that sits as an adviser to the same company that Mr. Markle Vollenteer's on. We will be in touch with him, and thier chairperson, if legal proceedings are required.

If this is some type of personal attack, then keep it to yourself, or send us a telephone number where my husband and I may contact you to clear this stupidity up.

Sincerely;

K.M.

NOW first off I would like to note that the names do NOT match up. The email name says "François Latelle" and the signature says K.M. ... You would expect someone using their own email to either 1-sign their name K.L. if it is the wife, and 2-to have their own email address. I ALSO have questions to the authenticity of the name François Latelle. I believe it to be false.
