I bought 11 windows from *** in May. The windows arrived in June and were installed in July. The installers did a great job. However, there was a problem with the seal in one of the arched windows. It was sticking out by half an inch, and the building inspector wouldn't approve it. Eastern sent a factory representative and *** sent a sales representative in July. The factory rep said they would replace the window, but it would take some time. I called *** sales rep multiple times in late August and early September, but they weren't very helpful. I had to involve the store manager. Finally, on September 18th, Eastern called me and said a factory technician would come to replace the window on October 16th. However, they never called or showed up on October 18th. I contacted *** again, and today Eastern called me and said they didn't have my phone number but will call me tomorrow to give me a new date.

I bought windows from Eastern Architectural Systems back in 2018, but now I'm facing a problem. Two of the windows are defective and they're leaking gas between the layers. I've tried calling them multiple times, but all I got was voicemail. They never returned my calls. I even went to their factory and met with a representative named Elizabeth A. She promised to get in touch with me to fix the issue. However, it's been over three weeks since that meeting and I still haven't heard anything from them, despite leaving two more voicemail messages.

I bought EAS windows from Lowes more than a year ago. Until now, EAS hasn't replaced the defective glass. Today, EAS technicians were supposed to come to my condo around 11:30 to replace a sliding glass door panel and two window panels. Shannon E. confirmed the time and that they would have all three pieces. The technicians called at noon saying they were three hours away and didn't have all three pieces. I told them to call Shannon and have her call me back. That was three hours ago, but I haven't heard anything from EAS at all.

We got windows from Direct Remodels in Tampa, FL. The issue is with the window manufacturer, Eastern Architecture in Fort Myers, FL. Our order number is *** T. We ordered them in February, but they keep giving Direct Remodels different arrival dates. The problem is they took 40% of our loan to order the windows, and in a few weeks, we have to start paying the loan, but we still don't have the windows! My warranty hasn't expired, but I can't get service for my damaged impact sliding doors. I bought impact windows and sliding doors for my house in 2017 and they were completed on 03/09. I paid $14821.00 for them. The patio door started shaking and coming off the rail. I first contacted Lowes and they told me that the warranty is handled by Eastern Architectural Systems. When I reached out to the company at the end of October , they confirmed that the warranty was still valid, but they mentioned that they were in a busy season and it would take some time to send a service technician. I patiently waited until January . However, the last time I contacted them, they said that I didn't have any warranty left for them to send a service technician. I have two children at home and I'm worried that they might get injured because of this faulty door.

I ordered a window and door package for my custom home from Eastern Architectural Systems. The purchase was made on 6/3 and the delivery date was not specified. The total purchase price was $24,391. Recently, in September , I had their service guys come out to repair fogged glass. While they were here, I asked them to look at the (9) Casement Windows with arms that are "rusting" in the same spot on all (9) windows. The service tech informed me that these windows were defective from the factory during assembly, as the frame screw was not properly installed. I have been trying to contact their service department (Elizabeth and Robyn) for over a year now to resolve this issue, but unfortunately, they have not been able to help. They claim that these windows are not covered under warranty. Surprisingly, they are now offering to sell me the parts to fix their own defect.

I bought Four Heavy Duty "Hurricane" windows from Protective Shutters Inc. They gave me four windows made by Eastern Architectural Systems. EAS installed the windows. The windows cost $4000 and came with a "lifetime guarantee." Unfortunately, one of the windows stopped working after just one year. It got stuck and couldn't be opened or closed. After waiting for several months, EAS finally sent a crew to fix the window. However, another window failed about 12 months later. It also got stuck and couldn't be moved. I asked multiple times for a repair, but Protective Shutters Inc. told me they have to wait for EAS to do it. It has now been 14 months since I reported the problem, and neither party has taken any action. Eastern Architectural Systems is located in Fort Meyers, Florida ***. Worst customer service, they didn't respond in a timely manner, and didn't address my glass warranty replacement on time. I bought windows from *** in 2017. Many window glasses have already failed and been replaced. On 4/1, I requested a window replacement from *** and they confirmed it via email. On 7/1, I made a second request for a window replacement, but received no response. On 7/23, I made a third request and finally got an answer. However, on 9/23, EAS brought the wrong windows. I contacted *** multiple times, but they said EAS wouldn't come back or respond to requests. On 11/23, I last heard from *** @ EAS, who told me that someone would contact me in 3-4 weeks. I sent my last email to EAS on 12/16, but they still haven't replied. It's worth noting that in early November, I called EAS and they had no knowledge of a service visit to my house or the need to replace the windows. Lastly, I believe that 9 months is too long to service a customer under warranty. I also asked *** for the warranty terms, but they never responded.

I bought Impact windows from EAS through ***. The glass on one of them is failing, but the Warranty Dept hasn't responded. In December , *** installed three double size impact windows made by EAS. Now, the glass seal on one of these windows is failing. I went to *** and an employee gave me a work order #*** and tried to contact EAS. They gave me this # XXX-XXX-XXXX to call and ask for the Warranty Dept. I left three detailed messages for *** Atkins over several days, but got no response. Then, I called my original salesman (still working for *** and EAS) *** (XXX) XXX-XXXX. *** said he would contact EAS and have them call me. Three days later, he gave me a second phone # to call (XXX)XXX-XXXX and ask for the same person. I told him I had already left 3 messages for her, so my 4th message went to the general office even though I asked specifically to speak to a person, not a machine. It went to a machine anyway. Part of my message was: I'm getting tired of talking to machines that don't get back to me. These windows cost more than $6,700. Besides the cosmetic issue, I'm concerned that the seal failure has made the window not hurricane proof. I also think *** should take some responsibility since they continue to do business with EAS.
