I found mouse droppings in a bowl that was on the countertop on June 26, 2022, on a Sunday. I put in a Maintenace request to have them try to get rid of the mouse. They never had someone come out to leave me traps or to check for the mouse beforehand. They had to have an exterminator come out on Thursday June 30, 2022. The exterminator filled a hole behind my stove and never left any traps or anything. On Friday July 1st, I came into my kitchen and saw a mouse running on my countertop into the stove. The exterminator/maintenance trapped the mouse in my apartment. I called the office at 9:07 that day to talk to the property manager (Danielle) about the issue. I told her I needed traps and that I wanted a new stove because the mouse has been living in it. She told me she would call me back in thirty minutes after she talked to the maintenance. I never got a call back until 3:17 because I called her at 2:00 and she was not in her office. I happened to be at the office because I was registering my cat with the office. I went in her office, and she told me she still had to run to Lowe's to get traps. She said that Tuesday I should be getting a new stove. She also told me that if I caught a mouse this weekend that I could call emergency maintenance and they would be out right away to take care of the mouse. I didn't get the traps until after 6:00p.m. that night.

Then on Saturday July 2nd, I caught the mouse on a mouse trap and called maintenance to come and get it. The guy on call couldn't come because he has a fear of mice. I had to wait over three hours for someone else to come and get it. I ended up throwing the mouse in my trash can and setting it outside. They threw the bag away but never knocked on my door to let me know they threw the bag away or anything.

Tuesday July 5th, I received no call from the office or got a new stove.

Wednesday July 6, I went into the office and Danielle was busy but told a leasing agent that she would call me in fifteen minutes when the meeting was over with. I never got a call.

Thursday July 7th, I called the office again to speak to Danielle. She was busy but I was told that she would give me a call that day. She never called me.

Tuesday July 12th, I called and was told she would call me back. Never got a call back.

Wednesday July 13, I get a call from the office, but I was at work and couldn't answer the phone. I let it go to voicemail and on the recording, I was told that maintenance could not get into my apartment. They said that they still have authorization to go in there from the work order I placed about the mouse over a week ago. The guy said that maintenance knocked a few times, and no one answered. They tried unlocking the door, but the door would not unlock. I called the office back and asked them how they could not get in and the lady on the phone told me the key would not work. I don't understand how the key would not work because the locks are the same as when I moved in. I'm not sure if they lost the key which would be a huge liability. I find that this is the worse excuse to give and is so unprofessional.

7/17/2022 I have still not received a call from Danillie, and I still have the old stove that I have not used since the mouse because there is mouse poop inside of it. If the stove was in a restaurant with mouse poop in it, the restaurant would be closed. I also work at an apartment complex. This behavior and being ignored by the property manager is so unprofessional and gives the company a bad name. If this happened to a resident where I work at we would have gotten a complaint to corporate by the amount of time it took them to actually do something. I have been so patient with the office and not getting my stove right away. I'm tired of being ignored and not having an oven or stove to use.
