I had a plastic surgery procedure done by Dr. Richard Arabitg. He did not do what he said he was going to do. The first time I looked in the mirror following the surgery was shock and dread. I felt like it was a bad dream and that person staring back at me was not me. PLEASE, PLEASE be very careful when seeing this doctor and do your research. If I had known what he was really going to do, I would never have had this done, EVER! I have gone to several surgeons to see about revision surgery and I have been told that it is very hard to fix a job that was not done correctly in the first place and a job that was done badly, and that it is very unlikely a revision can be done at all. EVERY surgeon who has seen me has said I was not ready for this yet and would NOT have done this to me. Dr Arabitg suggested I would look really good if I had this done and I had not even condsidered it until he suggested it. I am going to have to live with this for the rest of my life and it is never going to go away. He called me "baby" and "you will be beautiful baby"! He pushed me to have additional procedures done on areas of my body that were not a concern. That should have been a warning sign! He also did not educate me on possible risks that can occur from surgery. I keep asking myself why me? What did I ever do to Dr Richard Arabitg for him to do this to me, and why was I the unlucky one? All he wanted was my money and all the money in the world will not bring back everything I have lost and all the tears I have cried and emotional distress. I have lost my self confidence, self esteem, and laughter and joy for life. Everytime I look in the mirror I feel regret, sadness, pain and like a part of me has died inside. What is worse is that I was attractive before, did not need this surgery and now I am scarred for life because of greed. PLEASE don't allow yourself to be a victim like me! NO ONE deserves this pain!
To MedPrefessional 50, I never went into the office with any thought of having plastic surgery done, I went for botox and he told me all this stuff I needed done. Dr Arabitg said he was going to do one thing and did something else. If Dr Arabitg would have been honest and told me what he was really going to do, I never would have had this surgery done. He lied point blank to my face when I asked him questions, saying no that he would not do that and this is what he would do. I know their are risks, but a surgeon should not be allowed to lie, and should not be allowed to do the procedure different than how they told you they were going to do it! I am 102 lbs, size 0 and he tried to talk me into a tummy tuck. Last time I went for my waxing appt I told the woman who does my waxing what he said and she said you! You said you have no belly! She went to see him to see what he would say. He insisted she needed a tummy tuck badly, and then went on to tell her all the other procedures she should have. She said he is like a salesman and really knows hot to make a woman feel inferior. He also tried to talk me into butt implants which was a joke. I already have a JL butt which is real that I always get compliments on by women and men. I have gone for second opinions and what other doctors have said about his work is not nice! I don't tell them who did the procedure but they take a guess and are correct! I guess they have seen enough of his botched jobs to know it is him! I just want others to be careful when seeing this doctor, to know he lies, does sloppy work and to please get a second opinions before they even have him touch them. I have had one other plastic surgery procedure done years ago by a doctor no longer practicing and he did amazing work. I sent a lot of clients his way who were very happy. He was an excellent surgeon, told you what to expect, did what he said he was going to do, and did not LIE!
I have since gone for a revision surgery. I can now look at myself in the mirror. The doctor who performed the surgery I would recommend to anyone. He is the Chief Plastic Surgeon in a hospital that is highly rated.
Dr Arabitg did nothing but lie to me. He was suppose to do a pinch and he did an agressive surgery. I have showed several doctors my before pictures and everyone of them said I did not need anything done. They also said the procedure is outdated and is no longer being done. They all asked if he was board qualified. Other comments were made that were not very nice that I am not going to post. Before I had my revision surgery I tried to get my photos and the report that a surgeon is suppose to do. The report states the procedure the doctor is doing step by step; where he is cutting, how much, what he is cutting underneath, type of stitches, everything. This helps another doctor see what has been done and what he can do to try and fix the bad surgery. I was not able to get all my photos or the report. I got a lawyer involved so I could get my complete medical records which he was refusing. Dr Arabig first lied and said no after photos were taken, then he said he had to destroy them because they were blurry. I never did get my report. After reading other complaints I have found out I am not the only one he has lied too about photos and records. Obviously he doesn't want the before and after photos posted on the internet because when people see what a mess he made, he would be done. I don't understand why he wouldn't give me the report. I only wanted the report so I could give it to the surgeon who did my revision so he would know what was done underneath.

I totally agree I had a breast aug done I asked for a full C cup but still 2 years later I'm a DD & DDD... He told me after they have healed they would get smaller besides that my breast were never lifted & that's what I had paid for in da first place now he's asking for another &1, 400 to fix the work he never did in the first place but I paid for... This is so unfair that he's doing this to people just taking advantage now I have to find the money or walk around with ugly breast... Do not go to Dr. Richard Arabitg please go somewhere else...

Wflorida he does not give any discount if you pay in cash. He gives you the normal price. If you pay with any credit card or care credit, he charges you more. He likes cash only, guess why! I had surgery with him and he could've done better. I've seen some of his bad surgeries and good surgeries. Arrogant he is! He has a lot of knowledge about plastic surgery but I found a better surgeon. The problem with Dr Arabitg is, he doesn't have a set pricing for standard surgeries like every other surgeon, his office manager is the one who gives you the price depending on your need, looking and her mood! If she sees an opportunity to rip your pocket, believe me, she will! I've sent so many people there to do exactly the same procedures and they were all charged totally different prices. I would check Dr Thomas Fiala in Altamont Springs. I've seen a lot of people who has been there and with excellent results. I totally understand what you've been through and it is hard to trust doctors 100%. I wish you the best of luck!

Thanks for your long explanation. I am looking for an affordable and yet good plastic surgeon. I would like to have a breast reduction but so afraid of the scar. I have lost over 35 pounds but the breast still big and the neck, shoulders and back pain is not getting better. This pain has been going on for years. I need to see someone who can manage well the scars. I have the tendency to scar badly. I do have to say I wanted to see Dr. Arabigh. I was told by my girlfriend he gives you a discount when you pay cash. I cannot take the pain anymore so I would like to have one night of uninterrupted sleep. I used to work in a hospital and from time to time we use to have some of his Dr. Richard Arabig patients and I do know he is an arrogant doctor and rude to the nurses and so are his relatives, the father who is a GYN and the sister Gina Arabig who is also a GYN. I was contemplating going to see him but I think I just changed my mind.
My review is based on true facts and witnessed, it is a long book but worth it to read. Dr. Arabitg is the best plastic surgeon I've ever met in this country.
The problem of Dr Arabitg’s office is the people working with him. Fortunately, he's a very busy surgeon, due to the number of patients he has, and for that reason he has a manager running his office. And that is the biggest problem……..
The office manager is the person who gives you the final price. She regularly up charges customers to pretend that she is an excellent employee. She makes up extra fees, a lot of times on the day of surgery, she charges something else that did not exist and claims it was some extra fee that was not charged. If for some reason, she is not in the office and other employees need any kind of price, they contact the manager to know how much they have to charge.
And everything I say, I have proof. The manager is an evil person, she made the person I love the most in this world, who was his assistant, quit for something evil she did and accused the assistant.
And this was the job that, this person, who I love the most, just loved. She went to school for that, she studied for that, she was happy with the job but… the manager could not take it, she was so jealous, so mean and wanted to prove that she was better. So she made the whole scheme to blame the assistant. And she succeeded. The doctor was on vacation, when he returned, money was missing. Only the manager and the assistant were in the office, the manager waited for the right moment... and when the doctor came back, she said she left the assistant responsible for the money, which was not true. And it seems to me that there is so much coincidence because in the same week that this occurred, the office manager traded her very old car for a brand new SUV. After this event, the assistant was accused of theft, everyone knew it was not her, but they made it look like it was. She went to work for three more days and could not take it anymore. She quit. She spent three months in depression, but at the same time she started looking for jobs because she could not afford to be without work. All the jobs she tried, she was denied. After trying for three months without success, she came to find out that, all the Employers were contacting the doctor's office to get references about her and the office manager was the one giving awful references about her, so she wouldn't get the job. We could not believe someone, a mother, a wife, holding a manager position, could be so sick of her mind to do something like this.
The assistant immediately called the doctor and explained what was going on, he apologized and told her to give his personal phone for references. Surprisingly, she got hired immediately. She got hired in a wonderful job, with a manager who is not evil or jealous, with a positive atmosphere and making more money. This girl is my daughter, and I say this proudly.
I had a surgery scheduled for the end of July of 2014, my daughter was not working there anymore. Two weeks before my surgery, I had to go to the office for my pre-operation. When I called to schedule the appointment, I came to find out that the office manager along with the doctor's wife decided to cancel my surgery because I am the mother of the ex-assistant.
I talked to the doctor and he re-scheduled my surgery.
On September 15th of 2015, I had another surgery scheduled. When I was in my pre-operation appointment, one of his employees told me about Care Credit, which I did not know about it. I contacted Care Credit, was approved and the representative said I could pay my surgery in 18 months with no interest and no other charges. I went to my last appointment on September 1st and when I presented my Care Credit Card, the assistant was confused. She asked my ID, Social Security Card and said she did not know how to charge the card and for me to wait. She went to the back and 10 minutes later, she came back and told me to come back next day because she had to call the office manager (who was on vacation), to find out how to charge the card. I went back the very next day and told her I want to do the 18 months with no interest. She looked at her co-worker and told me there is a fee upfront and the fee is 11% of the total price. I just flipped out! She got so embarrassed because the waiting room was full of patients, so she called me inside. The funny part of it is, her 11% was a higher amount than the calculator and every time I confronted her, she asked me to wait and she would go to another room to call the office manager. They insisted on the 11% saying it was a fee that Care Credit charges you for the 18 months no interest.
That was my final straw, I called Care Credit in front of her, she was trying to leave the room and I held her there. I explained to the representative what was going on and they immediately transferred me to the department that handles doctors' offices. The representative asked to talk to the office manager and I told her she was on vacation, so she asked to talk to whoever was trying to charge me 11%. I gave my phone to that assistant and she was so out of luck! She decided to put my phone on speaker, thinking Care Credit would say something backing up the office, she heard out and loud the representative saying THEY CAN NOT CHARGE 11% on a payment plan, the plan they offer is 18 months NO INTEREST. She also asked the assistant who made up this 11% fee. The doctor assistant looked at me and had no idea what to say, she became flushed than she got pale, she was so embarrassed, so uncomfortable. I grabbed my bag, took my care credit card, requested my deposit back (which they gave me after waiting for 20 minutes) and left. DON’T FOOL YOURSELF WITH THEIR CARE CREDIT PLAN!
After all this book I wrote, there goes the worst about his office: The office manager is rude, treats people like garbage, is the biggest liar I ever met in my life, she will step on you to prove them she is better than you, she is always whispering with the doctor's wife, lying to her ( the doctor’s wife thinks she is the best person and manager in the world), actually, she acts like she is the doctor’s wife! She teaches the employees to lie. You will never, never see her smiling. She is a bitter person, mean, evil, unhappy with her own life and attitudes, she probably hates herself for not being a better person.
What she doesn’t know or realize or maybe doesn’t believe is, GOD and someone else 9she knows who) are looking up for her. I believe in Karma. Her evil attitudes made me leave that office twice, with my heart broken because of what she’s done for my daughter, a dream broken for what she does financially against patients and tried to scam me, and believe me, no one cares about it, and with me, it won’t happen the third time. But the course of life will show her that, what goes around, comes around.
Well, after a sleepless night, I decided that I will not do my surgery with him. I, as any person with some extra skin and wrinkles, would love to do it, but after all this disgusting events, I love my extra skin, I love my wrinkles, I am a very happy person, with two wonderful daughters, I am a cancer survivor, I am honest and have peace in my mind. I am way better than all this.

I dont think its just one comment from an angry patient . there are many patients who feel he is just no good anymore. his values suck his work sucks his attitude sucks and all he cares about is how did this patient pay. he does not care about his patients he does not listen to them. he is unfaithful to his practice his patients and his family. he needs to retire and stop messing people up already. his ego is so high for no reason he thinks he is god. in orlando and kissimmee i have heard him being called the new butcher.. his belly buttons on tummytucks close up and look horrible. the pictures you see on the internet are so out dated why does he not put new pics of new surgeries ? because his work now is garbage..all he did was copy and paste the pics from COSMABELLA AND PUT THEM ON HIS NEW SITE THOSE PICS ARE FROM 2008 REALLY.. researchgirl87 it's probably better you cancelled your appointment because you don't really "research anything" you read one bad comment by an angry person and you think that means everything. You should have been a women and went and made YOUR OWN decision. I hope you found a doctor that had a perfect Internet review because he paid a ### load for it. Any reasonable person can see that this lady is just being hateful, mean and has nothing better to do. I went and saw Dr. Arabitg and I loved his office. It was very pretty and I felt very welcome. I am scheduled for surgery and I trust my instincts and my own judgement rather than the word of a crazy person.

I had a breast augmentation back in 2008 with Richard at Cosmabella when the office was located off Conroy. I still see him now and will continue to. I absolutely love my breast and have never had a problem with the docter at all. Hes caring and honest. He was amazing before my surgery and calmed me down when I cryed and had cold feet. I trusted him with my body and so should you. If your unhappy with this docter i am 100% sure that its probably a personal problem and not the docter. Not only did he go over every risk with me but he also warned me of what I would be feeling on a emotional level. He has plenty of expirience and speaks the truth. If your a sensitive person and want everything sugar coated then Richard Arabitz is NOT the docter for you. Andnif you think that plastic surgery is going to reform and completely change who youbare then you need to educate yourself. Your breast will be bigger but they wil still look like YOUR breast. Hes a docter and wont pull manic tricks.
Just an update, I'm pretty sure his office manager now is not the same person. She is kind, professional, and whip smart. He is a great surgeon and did an amazing job on my breast augmentation. I had two very devastating miscarriages that left my natural C at a very deflated small B. I am from the era of Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra but Dr. Arabitg talked me into sticking with a nice D cup (34 D). I am grateful for his input as my breast look size appropriate and, quite frankly, awesome. He does not suffer fools and gives you straight advice. And for that I am even more grateful. He never once made me feel guilted into other procedures or picked apart my flaws which I was anticipating. He even called my boyfriend (after work hours) over the next couple of days post surgery to check up on me. Again, I am grateful to him and his entire team for being so wonderful and caring.
Wow..thank God I found these complaints on Dr. Arabitg! He is the first of a series of three consultations this week. His was tomorrow but I am canceling first thing in the morning. I am so, so sorry for the horrors experienced by the unsuspecting patients who he took advantage of! Thank you all so much for taking the time to make others aware. It means so much! I hope this jerk loses his license. (By the way, it could not be more obvious that MedProfessional50 is the doc himself, trying very hard to defend his awful work. What a class act...)
This dr is one of the only ones who does not carry malpractice insurance in Orlando and there is a reason for this. He also has you sign a letter having you sign away your rights prior to surgery. I wish I had known this before and what it meant. Insurance companies will not give insurance to bad doctors. I had a plastic surgery procedure done on me and it was a horrific mess! I have gone to other doctors to see about a revision and they have said things such as "what ugly scars!", "it is very hard to fix a bad job" and "What a mess!" I really wished I would have done my homework. One doctor asked if he took a weekend course! I am told I will never look the same again and no doctor is sure if the bad procedure he did on me can even be fixed. One doctor said he should not be practicing! Please, please be careful with Dr Richard Arabitg and ask to speak to clients who are not related to him or friends of his. Ask to see their before and after photos so you know he really did the job, not someone else.

Not everything comes out the way they expect it to and i had a surgery done by Dr. Richard Arabitg, April 2012. This surgery changed my self esteem completely. Since the first visit, i had a very good vibe and such a warm welcoming from Doctor and Staff. They took the time to answer my questions and concerns. After surgery obviously your going to feel pain just like any other surgery. Some people recovery faster then others and a lot of people don't seem to understand the process. I have the best breast implant results and i do not regret going to Dr. Richard Arabitg. He did a beautiful and professional job. I was recommended by a friend who also did breast implants on her and her sister, which they are also happy with their results. I would recommend Dr. Arabitg to anyone who wants a beautiful change.
yes the wonderful woman is my best friend and it just kills me that the compete idiot who lost his licence in south carolina is allowed to practice medicine any where in the world how can florida allow this he carries no malpractice insurance. He is a butcher and needs to be stoped so if your looking into this total worthless piece of crap turn and run as fast as you can he will destroy you head this warning.

I personally know what you are talking about. I have personally heard his pathetic sales pitch, and some people fall for it. He is very outdated in his technique and his wife is not a nurse practioner. you can look this up under the florida board of nursing. they are running a scam in their office, charging for anesthesia when they do not deliver the treatment. I know this personally. I am sorry to hear about your medical mistake with that man, but he is trully a mess and he needs to be faced with the consequences
You went for the botox, so how is it you ended up with surgery you did not want? If you felt you did not need any surgery done except the botox, then why have surgery? No one can force you to do something you did not already want. Unless this surgeon had a gun pointed to your head at the time of surgery, you could have easily stated you did not need whatever it is you had done and left it at that. I'm sure you also paid to have this procedure done. Again, if you felt you did not need or want this surgery, the ball was in your court, simply not paying or saying no would've been fine. Also, you have to remember all these plastic surgeons are competing for business, of course they will have negative opinions about another surgeons work. You neglect to remember that plastic surgery is like a business and that is due to the fact that it is a luxury, not a necessity. You also need to ask yourself why you continue to keep getting botox and surgery you probably don't need.
Too often patients want to place blame on the physician. I can't imagine a physician talking you into doing something you already wanted to have done yourself. Instead of focusing and placing the blame on greed, you should take into account your vanity. I also find it hard to believe that you were not told the risks of surgery and possible side effects. If you signed a consent to have the procedure done, then you were made aware of the possible consequences of whatever procedure you had done. It is law and I know no surgeon whether plastics, general, even orthopedics and neurosurgery will operate or even schedule a procedure if a patient isn't aware of possible effects. This is a worldwide practiced trend. It seems you were unhappy with yourself before the surgery and now taking into account the results aren't the perfection you were seeking or lead yourself to believe. Plastic surgery is not a necessity, it is a luxury.
Interesting enough, you don't need malpractice insurance to practice medicine. If a physician does not have malpractice insurance, they have to provide a waiver for patients to sign. I am 110% sure that this physician did exactly that. Just like nurses, physicians are able to have multiple licenses in any state if they want to practice their, whether for a relocation or for multiple fellowships. I suggest the complaintant get more information about residency, fellowship, etc that physicians have to do when they either want to learn a new specialty or advance in the specialty they are already in before assuming they are "running"
seems to me that disformed is just an unhappy person.. really now your friend is the one that had the bad boob job...than if that is your friend why did you come to this doctor? or maybe you are just posting comments that are untrue.. this doctor is a great doctor and he has performed surgery on me and my family and friends. some people just need a reality check. how dare you try to taint a doctor that is well known and loved by many just because you have unrealistic thoughts of what you should look like. maybe you were the one not ready for surgery.. you and your so called friend.. you really should find a hobby and stop making lies up about this doctor.. i believe in karma and god and what you say will come back to you.
If you do your research you will find that it is legal to not carry malpractice in the State of Florida. However a physician has a responsibility to tell their patients. If you as a patient signed a form stating this then thats on you! Physicians carry liscencing in other states if they attend school and practice as a resident there. Dont assume a physician is running from problems if he/she travels with multiple liscencing.

My heart goes out to you. When I read your story I feel absolute outrage towards the medical community. "Doctors" like this should not be practicing medicine or performing surgery.
Please continue to post your story on as many doctor review web sites as possible. Until we, as a country, demand more legislation over the medical community, this is a way for prospective patients to find out about other patients' experiences. Hopefully your story will reach some of his prospective patients.
I had a friend who had gone to him and he gave her a really bad boob job! She was in tears after and no money to get another doctor to do a revision.

WOW! I wanted to get a breast aug, saw him a few months ago. He was very arrogant, only seemed as if he wanted my money. The receptionist is so rude, not informative and acted as if I were an interruption to her day. The way he talked to me was unprofessional also. Does he have other license's in other states? How long has he been here for? I do not trust his skills or him. I then went to see Dr Brian Joseph and Dr Fiala as well as Dr Hartog. Those are PROFESSIONALS who know what they are doing. Don't go to that Dr Arabitg, he seems like a bad plastic surgeon.
