Dr. Nicole Strohl, DO review: Lack of care 1

This is not for Dr. Wolf, as I have not met him personally, nor will I ever want to after the care received at his practice. This is unfortunate as I have heard very good things about him. But Dr. Nicole Strohl was not prepared at all for my multiple office visits. Would not prescribe me the proper medication for my problem, and then referred me to a specialist, but took a week and a half to complete the proper paperwork. And even then I was given an appointment multiple weeks away which I promptly cancelled and sought out care for myself, and had an appointment the day after I spoke with the office.

She did not even take 5 minutes to review my medical documents to know what she was dealing with. It was apparent after I got a hold of the documents myself and read what was noted. She completely missed a page, and also key parts of multiple pages from the medical documents that are vital to a proper diagnosis. It seems like she just wanted to be paid each time for a 5-10 minute exam, if not less. And changed the medication to a similar type three times (sorry for the ambiguity but I do not feel like receiving retribution for her mistakes).

I felt like there was something that I was missing without the medical documents, and when I finally got a hold of them, through another method because it would have been "too hard" for her to print out anything on her computer. I think she really just didn't want to help me, and I would have been clued in that she didn't take any effort to actually read the medical documents and was dismissive about what was actually wrong. Thankfully I have the proper compassionate care now, and I will be seeing a few specialists because I will most likely require surgery, which is a bummer. What a waste of my time, and money. I hope that Dr. Wolf is much more attentive than her and that his reputation is actually as good as what I have heard, it's unfortunate that he employs someone that is so vacuous.
