Second week of March 2020, I called directaxis for a top up loan. I spoke to a consultant by the name of Akhona. We went through the application, he told me my application was approved. I told him I wanted a loan of R140 000.00, this will settle my current loan of R57 000 at the time and he balance of R82k will be transferred to my bank acc. I was asked to submit my bank statement for the additional income, which did. Another consultant called me we went through that bank statement.
I was told my application was approved for R90k, which I declined. On the 11th april Anna called me to tell me they have review my applications dn it has been approved for R140k. We went through the terms and co editions, she told me exactly how much my newbinstalment will be, R4 687.23 and R82 442.86 will be transferred to my bank acc, they will settle my old loan of R57k. I should expect the money within 7 days. On the 20th April I called in to follow up, to my surprise I was told my application was not captured there was an error, I spoke to Akhamile. She said someone will call me back, no one did. I called again on the 21st and spoke to Neliswa, she helped with the new application again, apologising on behalf of directaxis. This is been the worst service ever. I been with directaxis for more than 20 years and this is the bad service ever. Neliswa told me my application has been approved again, someone will call me, I dont need to send the bank statement as they still have them on the system. I'm still waiting for someone to call me again, like she said. They raise people expectations the next thing they tell you a different story after. I'm very disappointed. Their staff is incompetent, no proper processes in place.
