This company offered a free trial for delivery charges only. Gave 10 days for trial but cannot reach
them to cancel account on the 8th day. However, when inquiring about my credit card, my company
say that Diet Max Cleanse has already charged $87.47 to my account and I have not been given a chance
to cancel since they do not answer their phone and the email address is not available. I did go in to the
original site and did an unsubscribe. I have received the trial capsules and after taking just one capsule
became sick with a heart rate of 109 beats per minute. I was charged the $3.87 for shipping of this
sample and am willing to pay that charge. But, my trial period ends today and they cannot be reached.
My credit card company say charged my account for the new order on Aug. 11 which is 5 days before my
trial period is to end? They say they will delete the charge. I am very unhappy with the company. I
think they are scamming people!

I too wish I had found this site first. I did actually get the product the first time and used it so I am ok with paying the first amount...however, when i got charged a second time I called and was told that they would cancel my account but they could not offer a refund of the second charge...even though i never got a second product. I also found another funny charge from some company called PROFIT VAULT for $9.76 and they appear to be linked somehow. So after calling my credit card company and speaking to someone dealing with fraud she told me that these companies get away with this because somewhere in the original order text it says something about it being recuring and other offers could be made. I not only canceled that card number, and turn in a fraud notice, but I made sure the credit card company removed the relationship to the new card they issued so that it cannot be charged again.

Ditto on the above! They charged a total of $170.85 and I got one bottle of the product. No paper work was sent, and no identifying information was on the package, so I didn't know how to get in touch with them. My bank has noted my file so I will have recourse if they try again. I hope!

I have had the same problem but instead of being charged once for the product, I was charged twice! for both the trial and the $87.47. This was 2 months ago, and I still haven't recieved any of the product. I wish i had read this 1st, I could have saved myself $200.00, or given it to a deserving charity if given the opportunity.

Guess they are still getting away with it. Stupid me fell for it too. My credit card company gave me the number [protected] to try calling. Unfortunately you get a recording saying all representatives are busy and are put on hold. Before anyone answers the call gets disconnected. My credit card company says they cannot block future recurring charges because I actually did business with the company. I'm thinking I will have to resort to canceling the card. I wonder what that will do to my interest rate which I have worked really hard to keep as low as possible. The worst part is I should have known better. I feel like a total fool. At least I know I'm not the only one who got fleeced.

O M G, They ripped me off too. I was out $1.49 for the trial...then two days later they took $74.26...I got a cancellation number, said it would be refunded. That was in October, its Dec 1 and still no refund. I have my bank researching it now.

Same thing happened to me. I have spent hours trying to get my $87.47 back. They are definitely a scam. I have reported them to the BBB and encourage others to do so as well. I am still trying to get that 87.47 back, although I imagine that eventually I'll give up and chalk it up to my own idiocy. We should be writing to the organizations that ran their ads -- if anyone remembers who they are.

Besides, the darn stuff actually MADE ME GAIN WEIGHT!

Fellow Diet Max hater.

What a RIP-OFF! Wish I had check here before ordering from Diet Max. I have cancelled my credit card and ordered a new one. Hopefully they won't be able to charge any further shipments. Besides the product charges on my bill, there were "foreign transaction fees". What''s with that? I'm so mad at myself for falling for this stuff. This is definitely lesson learned for me.

I agree totally, with all the above comments! I fell for that same free trial offer with maxium burn xtreme, I have been calling and calling to cancel, no answer! Apparently this is part of their " game ". How can you cancel subscription when there is no one answering the phone or no e-mail address or physical address listed? There should be a law against such theft by deception! If anyone know how to reach these crooks, please let me know. Earlier I had to get my bank rep. to call another company to get them on the line, so I could cancel their " free trial offer", costing $80.00/ month to be exact!

we were finally able to cancel our order on line... here's the web site we were told to go to, to cancel --http;//www.cancelsite.com/mc -- we were told to use the password "online" (lower case letters) and our CS rep was "Miles". Naturally your order number will be different than ours, our order number was on the email they sent us, telling us which web site to go to for canceling our order so I'm not sure how you can get your order number but good luck. They'll send you an email confirming your canceled order...

I just got off of the phone with Royal Bank Visa..the really nice gentleman there gave me this dispicable companys address...he said that I have to send a registered letter to this company and tell them to cancell my' non existant 'order..he said that once I have done this I will receive a tracking number and that if this company charges my account anymore Royal Bank Visa will deal with them..apparantly there are quite a few of us who have learned a valuable lesson...hope everyone gets theirs sorted...
good luck

I cancelled my card based on the same problems others had. Also because I did not receive the trial, could not get out of the initially, later they can not be reached. They had charged my card from a different Hong Kong Co. for $88.00 before the trial time was up. Do Not Use Diet Max for anything. Cancel your card immediately if you have.I am disputting as FRAUD. So now that foreigners have taken our jobs they are disguising themselves as legitimate U.S. Companies and committing FRAUD.

I, too, have been scammed. They're operating the same fraud in Canada. I asked for the "free" sample and have in total been billed about C$95. I'm trying to dispute this through my CC company also. I've tried called the Diet Max number but it's continually busy - if it exists at all. I'm also probably going to go the route of cancelling my card. Any further advice for a Canadian neighbour would be appreciated.

One person listed another number. When I called they said it was not the correct number. Based on above information I am cancelling my credit card, a great inconvience but hopefully will be done with this co.
I did not receive a product I ordered. I did not receive the trial. I realized this was a scam on the original phone call after I had given them my card no. The internet should deny people like this access. To date I have had no charges except original ship fee for item I never received. I could not even get them on the phone.

i have experienced what everyone here has experienced...cannot get anyone on the phone, always busy, when i called the other number which is listed on their website, i spoke to someone i could not understand and she just read from a script and said i would receive an e-mail..still waiting...we all need to contact the better business bureaus and list a complaint...i called my credit card company, but they say the info is in the agreement and they could not stop the charge since i agreed to the agreement...just want to cancel future shipments...anyone have any other ideas?

I too was taken by Novapay for $87.13. Their ad is so vague as to the company name and the location. Had I known they was in Hong Kong I would never have ordered anything from them! Everything thing that Wes said happened to me exactly, including to the long script the woman was reading from. I have had four different charges from Novapay including charges for rate exchanges. They are thieves and liars!

my husband got scammed too...we are out 74.00 and change, was rudely told no refunds...why can't we do a class action law suit on this scam of a company? Now the number has been busy for 3 days...now what? ..This is nuts! ..if anyone out there knows of another number please let me know, we're not rich and we could use that money back, they never sent the crap either, I would send it back after I spit on it anyway!

Same complaint as all the rest. I've contacted my cc company and they will not allow further charges to my acct so I don't have to cancel my card at Christmas time. I have disputed the 87+ charge and hope it sticks. I also sent an email to Weather Underground as they advertised this product and should have looked into it first. If we can't stop Diet Max, maybe we can get it off the net with sources we should be able to trust.

Read the Terms of Service? Do you work for them? Who charges you for a product before you even get it? And why should it be so hard to take care of your customers when there is an issue? I get that I am at fault a little for this, but they didn't even follow through with what was in BIG print. I didn't even receive the right product. My bank got hung up on by them. If this company wasn't a scam then why are they so hard to get a hold of and keep on taking money from people when they do follow the correct procedures to stop payment?

I agree that the terms of the agreement say that you will charged but they are crooks! I have tried to cancel for months and have not received any product other than the sample supply. When I try to cal lthe computers were down or I need a code Etc... I realize I couldn't get them to cancel with in the first 10 days and I owe that money but the subsequent months have me outraged especially since they never sent anything. I have to close my card to get them to stop taking the three charges out every month. What A SCAM! Some one tell us how we can stop them!

The free trial is a scam. I was billed on 10/5/2010. The product was shipped on 10/7. I received it on 10/11.
My credit card was charged $87.13 on 10/14. In addition, I was charged $2.95 on 11/09 for awebsite fee after I had cancelled in Oct and was charged the $2.95 on 10/4. The [protected] on my credit card statement is busy all the time. The correct # is [protected] for Diet Max in Florida. I talked to three service agents before I could understand their english. The poroduct was worthless and cost me $93.00 - an expensive lesson.

Sorry to say I'm another who'se caught out. I also ordered the Free Trial from the UK for £1.94 + £0.98 P&P. Have NOT received the goods and now see my Statement shows an additional £56.64 having been taken. Like you, having checked the website, it's www.myacaimaxcleanse.co.uk but it looks as if that doesn't exist - 'com' maybe, but not 'uk'. I will now advise my Credit Card co this was an unauthorised payment, hopefully they can prevent more payments. Best to keep checking the details aren't being used for more deductions elsewhere.

One more thing, mention any of these words and they won't hesitate to issue a full refund. (I'm disputing this with my bank), chargeback fees are hard on them, it's cheaper to issue a refund. ( Attorney General) they are afraid of the Attorney General because they want them out of business anyway.

Hi, please cancel your credit card that you are being billed on. I use to work for a company that answered calls for people like that. They change the name of their company so they can continue to bill you even though you cancel with them. Once they have your credit card they pass you along to their friends to receive little charges that you don't notice at first until you are receiving NSF charges because you didn't even know you were being billed. They will tell you that you agreed to this bs when you bought the product. To end this madness cancel the card. It can an will happen again. My job was to politely cancel the account and hope you don't ask for a refund. In my opinion they bill millions everyday to people who aren't paying attention.

I ordered something different called Acai Max Cleanse from a site and received this Product. I was charged $2.95 right away on my Visa gift card (thanks God I used that one as I was suspicious about this sounding too good) . Three days later item did not arrive and on a 4 day I started to recieve telemarketing calls. So they are selling your contact to others and make money even that way. I iimidiately contacted them and asked fore cancelation nd had a difficulty doing it but I insisted and point blank told them that I dont trust them, their opperation and scam. Finaly they provided me with an email and cancelation steps asking me not to use product when I receive it. I never received it until 15 days later. So thats 5 days after your trial expires. Everything well planned. The envelope went straight to garbage as I dont trust content of it. Fortunately I only got robbed by 3 dollars and my Visa gift card did not have much left on it. Thanks God! Now I'm trying to call them just to see what it is all about and to tell them for the last time that they should be ashamed of doing this type of transactions and point to them that a product I received is totally different product. But they have my number blocked probably as I get the recording that all circuts are busy now... BE CAREFUL! I WISH I COULD FIND THIS BEFORE.

Gwyne also try telling your credit card company that you have not received the product, they asked me to wait for 30 days to allow delivery, they would then investigate and try to get charge back of the amount. Good luck

Why dont you try telling your credit card company you lost your card - it seems to have worked for me but Ive managed to do that before they charged me anything more than the little shipping fees.. good luck

I DID read the terms, they took 89.93 out of my Credit Card 7 days after the 4.66 they took for shipping And handling on the trial offer, that was 12 days, YES 12 days BEFORE I received the trial offer, in my opinion this company DIET MAX is a company that should be thoroughly investigated by the US government and be made to refund everyone the money that they fraudlently stole from them. THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED.
The Better Business Bureau should be inviolved in this !
