This company offered a free trial for delivery charges only. Gave 10 days for trial but cannot reach
them to cancel account on the 8th day. However, when inquiring about my credit card, my company
say that Diet Max Cleanse has already charged $87.47 to my account and I have not been given a chance
to cancel since they do not answer their phone and the email address is not available. I did go in to the
original site and did an unsubscribe. I have received the trial capsules and after taking just one capsule
became sick with a heart rate of 109 beats per minute. I was charged the $3.87 for shipping of this
sample and am willing to pay that charge. But, my trial period ends today and they cannot be reached.
My credit card company say charged my account for the new order on Aug. 11 which is 5 days before my
trial period is to end? They say they will delete the charge. I am very unhappy with the company. I
think they are scamming people!

What does shopping for clothes got to do with complaints about Dietmax products? Absolutely nothing... Are you that hard up that you have to chose a complaints forum with people who have been duped by purchasing a product on line, and you expect us to purchase from you too? Please choose another site for your advertising.

I just got a charge of $87.47 plus $2.95 from a company in Haslemere, England, using name of ELGTech. Nutrigenic Life is also located in London, England UK. I queried ElgTech and got a page of complaints. This apparently is another bogus name the company is using. I have never heard of ELGTech and I have not authorized these charges. I have been trying for two months to get reimbursed from Nutrimax. I closed account on Oct 4. For the past three days, I get a "busy signal". They have shut down their phone lines. Nutrimax uses many dbas - mydietmaxcleanse.com/Nutrigenic Life/mycoloncleanse.com/ Profit Vault/ AcaiBerry/ElTecal PA, etc. Once they get your credit card number, they won't stop billing. The other day my bank called regarding a suspicious charge from ElTecal, Panama. It was the same amount as above. Told her it was bogus. She put a "block" on account, but they posted this one anyway. Going to close down card. I filed complaint with BBB of Chicago. They told me they sent 3 notices but they did not respond.
How can we get a "class Action" suit against them? They need to be put out of business. Fraud, scam, etc. They have scammed people all around the world.

I also got scammed, I got charged about 5 times for their internet convenience fee, as well as getting charged before my trial period ended. Called one number and couldn't get through, called another number and was finally able to get through, sure after 16 minues on hold on my cell phone. I told the Rep. I wanted to return the pills, I took them for one week and didn't like being jittery and didn't want them anymore. Her response is that they only accept unopened bottles to give the customer a refund. Then am I confused about what a "free trial" is? trial is to try, you have to open the bottle to try it, but if you do, You do not get a refund. So I have practically a bottle full of pills which I will not be using and a charge on my credit card.

Same problem, but I have been charged $91.63 and I only ordered the little bottle of pills - which I got eventually in the mail and then my Mastercard tells me this amount for nothing. Glad I found this page, now I am frightful that they will keep charging my account. I am a pensioner and this could ruin me (help me what do I do?) my e-mail is heyjude@bigpond.com The pills were to be a free sample, I am very scared that they will continue this. HELP!

I purchased a MagicJack about 1 1/2 years ago. I did work, but about 40% of the time you would get cross talk or interference on either end. However, I took the computer off the the wirelss network, and that helped some. There were several upgrades done automatically by MagicJack, and that has improved the service. At this time (about the last 10 months) I can say that it is as reliable as any other VOIP and that it is a good deal. It works well and that being a new technology it was sure to have some issues. I also use an older laptop with Windows XP and no other software to run the MagicJack. This allows it to be running 24 hrs and is not being used on a your home computer. Occasionally you might have to reboot the router or PC. I can't be sure if the Magic Jack causes this or that it's not the router, or Comcast. (The router is also used for wirelss for other Computers) I have saved at least $600 by not having a land line. I use the Cell Phone or MagicJack. I would recommend, but by it from a retailer that allows at least 90 days return.

This company is a total scam as they are deceptive in the way they do business. Every time you call into to cancel the phone is always busy and when you finally get through they will tell you the computer system is down and call back in about 3 hours. Yes they did this to me until I was past the 10 day period that they tell that you have to cancel which is pathetic.
I encourage all you to contact the Attorney General in your state as well as the Attorney General in Florida. Also contact the Agriculture and Consumer Complaints department in Florida and file a complaint against them. Its not the money as much as the deceptive way they do business.
I asked this company for their address and the address they gave me was an address that the BBB responded back to me that it was a bankrupted company. This company deserves to be shut down for its deceptive practices.

Best thing to do with these companies is to deal only with your bank or cc company. They can stop further charges and can issue refunds quickly. Also, file a consumer complaint with your state's attorney general's office.

My wife got scammed also. However we contacted Citi cards and not only did they remove the erroneous charges but they ran interference for us in getting the account with Diet Max cancelled. We also turned over the information to our state Attorney general. MiniBob

Citi was very helpful in not only removing the charges but also ran interference for us with the idiots at Diet Max to get the account cancelled. I don't know why the State of Florida allows this company to remain in business. Bob

I live in the UK and consider myself quite astute when it comes to online buying, but I've been scammed too. London number goes straight to a pre-recorded american message, and I think this call will cost me a lot of money too and get me nowhere. I have online banking and if it had been set up as a direct debit, I could cancel it online, but no, they have charged my debit card and not delivered anything apart from my "free trial" which didn't work. The only option I can take is to ask my bank to issue me with a new debit card, which I'm off to do right now. Big hassle and I've lost money. Don't waste time. Cancel your debit or credit card immediately.

I never even ordered this product. I order a teeth whitening product and they sent me the wrong product and charged me the money without having received anything at the time. I then received this product and have gone through several phone arguments with them. Finally, they told me if I sent back the product they would refund me a partial amount of $35. BIG SURPRISE...I returned the product and NEVER got the refund. ALSO, they keep charging my card like $5.00 and then a foreign exchange fee of like $0.13 or so. I didn't want to close the card because of the auto payments I have set up with it but now I guess I have to. UGH!

Reallly, I thought I was the only idiot out here! I have called repeatedly and they readily agree that my account was discontinued on Aug 23, but continued to charge my bank in Sept, and Oct. (charging totally more that $133) I actually reached them 3 times, told every time they would refund my account and now that I've waited for them, it's too late for my bank to do anything about it. Now the only thing I have left is the lesson. Too bad extra pounds lead to such vulnerability.

I think this is con company, I cancelled my order on [protected] and was told that the refund will be made in 2-4 weeks, it is over 8 weeks now, not even heard from them or recieved an acknowledgement of the receipt of the rebate forms send to them on [protected], by airmail to be signed for, they have accepted the same on the [protected] according to postal tracking system, seems these people should be reported to FBI or similar crime investigation authority. I was lucky to get them on phone as soon as I found out they took off some £67+ from my account. It is a scam and should be taken to court for the massive rip off.

Yes, they are total scam. They took the money before the trial period was over and then no one is answering that phone number! To be honest, its our fault that we didnt do a proper online search. These fraud sites are making profits from people like us seeking slimming products. Then and by keep calling, they charge us more and waste our credit. A total scam.

I also, had the same problem with this Company. I cancelled the order the very next day and return the product unopened. I did speak with someone, which I could not understand much of what she was saying. She requested my credit card number again and assured me I would receive credit. GUESS WHAT, they charged my account again. I had to cancel my card and work with the bank to get credit, which I have not received.

Same problem here. I ordered the sample and before I received it I was charged 87.13. They wouldn't let me cancel my order., it was too soon. I had to call back in a few days. So I did, they promised to send an e-mail which I've never recieved. If I don't get the e-mail call back in 3 hours. What the heck is this! After readiing the above comments, I'm sure my problems have just started. The BBB won't do a thing. We need the Internet Police, but who polices the Internet? THIS IS A SCAM. I'm about ready to develope a website using their link to my site. Telling the world this is a scam. Hate Dietmax is correct, we all should have read ALL the fine print.

Great news for me. I just received a $87.13 credit to my credit card from Diet Max. They charged my card on November 2nd. Persistance does pay off people. If you cancelled within the 10 days and followed all of their RULES, keep calling them and calling them asking for your refund. I swear I called them 10-20 times...every couple of days. I don't recognize the other numbers I see people posting but this is the number that got my money back is [protected]. Funny thing is, I called them yesterday and was told by someone speaking very clear English that I would have my money within 2-3 business days and one day later yipppeeee. I hope everyone that got stung by this mess gets it cleared up!

I recently fell for the scam in regards to a $2.95 diet pill bottle that was represented on FB with a trial done by a wellknown female newscaster and backed by several well known companies. Of course it's off Facebk ads now so I can't refer to the source, but my card was billed from swiss sciences in clearwater, fl twice; novapay in HongKong twice(and no, they do not answer the phone); and twice from savingsplans in w conshohock PA. I have put a 3month block on my credit card and can extend it but the CC co. said it's no guarantee the charges will stop if I unblock it or even cancel the number and get a new number. She suggested to report it to the Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureau, as they are always looking for these types of things. So I am going to try that next. So, if anyone reads this, please try contacting the FTC and if no money is returned, at least they'll possibly be out of business. She suggested in the future, if I want to try something like this again, to get a debit card and then no additional charges can continue to mount.

We all fell for it I've been having th same problem here. Those peopleare just full of BS. One day I had to wait on the line for over an hour and when I got ahold of some one they hang up on me. I was charged for the trial $2.95 then a few days later I was charged twice one for an international fee and one for using the website. The pills made me hungry right after taking them. I wanted to lose weight not gain more. Now I find out they charged me again $87.13 plus a fee of 2.61 after the fact that I cancelled. Spoke to manager he said no Refunds managed to get a hold of the supervisor Charles but he said the same thing. What a rip off. How can they get away with it? ANA

I finally got through at [protected] at about 4:30 p.m. central time. After listening to obnoxious music for about 20 minutes I spoke with Miriam who seemed quite pleasant and helpful (she's probably still new). She said my shipments are canceled and I should see no further charges on my credit card. She gave me a confirmation number, but never said anything about going to a website to cancel like several others have posted. I hope that means she's not just blowing smoke. Keep your fingers crossed for me ...

I too have come across the same issue with the company making me fill out the necessary cancellation forms and then being told for the past three months that it takes 5-10 business days to receive my refund which to this date has not happened. Unfortunately I used my ATM card, I intend to check with the bank to see if I can do anything, but I doubt it as the money has already been taken out of my account. This company is a complete total SCAM, and I am furious nothing can be done. If there is a way, please let us know what we can do.

To the LoveFistII AND NegativeNancy...SHUT UP! I am not overweight one bit. I ordered the ACAI Berry crap because I've heard so much about it being soooo good for you...but I received DIET MAX. I actually could stand to gain weight you big jerkoff. These people, myself included, are being ripped off. Why are you so against everyone here? Nothing better to do? I am posting the link to this site on my facebook page to do my part on getting people to NOT fall for this scheme. Also, I see that the US AG is already investigating? GOOD! The phone number to call to cancel is [protected]. They will send you an email and it will probably go to your spam box as it is FROM donotreply@donotreply.com with a subject line of IMPORTANT ORDER MODIFICATION INFORMATION. Follow the instructions to a T and then call them every week until you get your refund. I've been dealing with this for over a mnth but today they said 2-3 days. I'm not going to hold my breath but we shall see :))

They state up front that the customer has to pay the firm's out of pocket expenses. The charges they were trying to collect for you were probably for the charges for them to obtain the copies of your medical records. That is nothing new.
