I recently had an experience with Detail King and I must say, it was not a pleasant one. I ordered some tools from their website and when they arrived, I noticed that they were not in the best condition. Upon further inspection, I realized that they were actually reconditioned, returned, and demo tools being sold as new. I was extremely disappointed and felt like I had been lied to.

I reached out to their customer service team to express my concerns and was met with a less than helpful response. They seemed to brush off my complaints and didn't take responsibility for their actions. It was frustrating to say the least.

I ain't gonna lie, Detail King ain't the place to be shopping for car cleaning products. I got me some headliner cleaner and it did more harm than good. I recently made a purchase from Detail King and I must say, it was a complete disaster. I ordered a carpet extractor and it took well over 8 weeks to be delivered. When it finally arrived, I was shocked to see that the machine had clearly been used before. The extractor hose was melted, the pre filter was missing, and there was no packaging to be found. To make matters worse, the handle to open the bottom of the machine was bent in the shape of someone's fingers and there was dirt inside both the clean and dirty tanks.

To add insult to injury, there was no manual included and a broken piece of plastic was found inside the machine. One of the hose couplers was missing and the neoprene sleeve that prevents burns was nowhere to be found. The little hardware that was included was in a ziploc bag and the screws to hold on the basket were stripped out. It was extremely obvious that this machine had been used and I was not happy about it.

When I contacted Brad Caric about the issue, he basically called me a liar and tried to blame the shipper for the damage. However, that would not explain why the packaging was missing or why there was dirt inside the tanks. I was extremely disappointed with the customer service I received and felt like my business did not matter to them at all.

This experience cost me a lot of money in wasted time and angry customers. The best they could offer me was "a free quart of extractor soap and a tee shirt," which was really insulting considering how much time and money I had lost. I would not recommend this company to anyone and advise you to steer clear of them if you value your time and money.
