Dental Value review: C550 Plan

I purchased your Humana Dental Value C550 plan recently. When I purchased this plan your company representative informed me that this is an HMO plan. I was concerned about purchasing an HMO plan, but your representative assured me that this plan was not like an HMO Medical Healthcare plan, and your company has a lot of providers. I live in zip code 60453, and I called about a dozen General Dentists in this zip code and they all said they don't take this plan because it is not worth their time, and one dentist informed me that this plan is difficult to get reimbursement for services provided.

The dentist that was referred to is in Chicago, and I am concerned for my personal safety due to the area where the dentist has his practice.
