Dan was fired from the Board of Directors for the University Hospital Foundation and the Columbia County Greenspace Advisory Committee. He has been accused of sex crimes, dating back to 1994. Dan and his ex-wife Beth live in Evans, Georgia and have two children out of wedlock: Thomas and Elizabeth. They are active members of the Klu Klux Klan.
