Great company providing a great product. Order process was smooth and so was the customer service.

Why does this page have so many negative reviews. This product is awesome. The rover Gen 2 is my daily driver. For those that expect more that is what you get . If you don't have 2grand to part with to the point where you worry about the order do to expenses, then maybe the cheaper scooter will be better for you.

Instant fun right out of the box! Just charge the battery and go. Easy learning curve and turns heads every where I go. Well built, sturdy ride. I'm 6'1 220 lbs and this board gets me 25+ mph. Highly recommended!

Just a great group of people. I had a lot of questions and they were very patient and helpful. The scooter is awesome!

The Cycle Board Rover is a complete vehicle replacement for urban dwellers! The Rover is also a beast on the trails! I bought my rover in May and literally have not used my car since!. It handles somewhere between a surf board and an atv depending upon what's needed and is able to handle a lot of weight. I am 200 lbs and carry alot of cargo and this board gets it done! Couldn't recommend the team over at Cycleboard enough. Chan, their mechanic is a great asset to the team and super helpful when it comes to maintaining the board even with my extremely heavy duty use!

I am 61 years old with a hip replacement and bad knees. This has been a lot of fun and very easy to use. Very solid and stable.

The CycleBoard Rover has brought fun exploration, recreational adventure and freedom to our family. We love riding on college campuses, packed dirt trails, and boardwalks. Me, my husband and my daughter enjoy playing a bit of chase while riding as well as basic trail blazing. It really is such a neat "sport" to enjoy together.

Cycleboard Rover is a tank. Very good handling and exceptional customer service. Phil Labonty helped me a lot with my questions. Very happy with my purchase.

Ordered a board from them. High end $2400 model. I was first told that I would have to wait for the model and color I wanted until Sept and then they offered me a different color than I wanted, plus fenders for free to make up for it,. That model they could ship immediately. July 2, I received notification that it shipped, but the FedEX tracking number was not active. I emailed customer service weekly until I asked for somebody to call me on the phone. 24 days later, all they could do was reimburse me and tell me the board still might show up (I bet it doesn't) and that my order and "a few others" were lost. (yea, right) This was meant for a birthday present and I had to scramble to make that happen with a replacement gift. I wish I thought to do more research on them before purchase. I had this same experience with a hoverboard company a few years ago. These guys make this stuff in China and get ripped off by their manufacturer's then pass the buck on to their customers. Beware of Cycleboard. And Cycleboard, if you want to talk about this on the phone, look up the order under my name, Eric Sabach... and I will gladly talk with you and not talk crap about your company to anyone that will hear me via social media. Here's your chance Cycleboard... give me a call.

I'm a Current Soldier over seas. I decided to purchase one because, well...I wanted to pamper myself with this expensive gift. After looking at the sites and seeing you-tubers. I wanted to buy one. It looked like so much fun. I'm from the city and I don't always feel like walking or taking public transport. I thought this would be a cool way of getting around. I notice that, 1) That the site had the next available ship date would be Aug 15th which is tomorrow for you guys. I pre-Ordered on the 4th of July. I've been a little hesitant with my decision because, well the lack of information on the page. The account you have is not really an account at all I've noticed. I would expect a "Your order is being put together email. thank you for your patience." So I decided to call tonight, to cancel my order, And I did not get the best customer service. Two people answered the phone in a bothersome manner. The called dropped so I had to call back. The first was female and I felt very rushed by her and the other was male and he seemed really bored with life its self. they took down my email and cell phone, but not my order number. I'm now really upset because that was 2,153.90 of my hard earned money. I read all of your reviews. I just really want my money back.

I'm an early rider on Cycleboard as I bought 2 of the Gen1 Elite boards during the Kickstarter campaign in 2016. They were easy & fun to ride, and definitely nothing out there like it. Since then my kids have inherited these boards which have had very little maintenance, besides bleeding the brakes which is easy. I'm being 6'6" and 280 pounds riding the Gen1 Rover, but looking to give the wife my Gen1 Rover and get a Gen2 Rover for me to add to our fleet. Super happy customer, and this has allowed us to ride as a family to enjoy at home and on trips.

Love the Rover. It feels very safe and sturdy. It's easy to ride and has a good battery life.

GOT MY GEN 2 ROVERS WHAT A SCAM THEY SENT ME DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE. BOUGHT TWO OF THESE AND THEY HAD MISSING PIECES, BROKEN MONITOR, FAULTY BATTERY, MISSING REAR FENDER, WHAT A DISASTER. OUR THROTTLE STICKS WHICH MAKES THIS PRODUCT SUPER DANGEROUS! NOT TO MENTION THAT THESE WEIGH MORE THAN I DO! OVER 100 POUNDS FOR EACH ROVER THIS IS THE HEAVIEST ELECTRIC SCOOTER I HAVE EVER SEEN. WHEN I ASKED TO RETURN THE TWO ROVERS THEY WON’T SEND ME THE RETURN LABELS I HAVE ASKED THREE TIMES! AFTER SENDING MULTIPLE PICTURES OF THE BROKEN/DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE, PHILIP LABONTY BASICALLY CALLED ME A LIAR AND ASKED ME TO TAKE A VIDEO OF THE THROTTLE STICKING! ARE YOU KIDDING HOW DO I EVEN DO THIS WITHOUT KILLING MYSELF YOU ARE ASKING ME TO TAKE A VIDEO WHILE RIDING IT TO SEE IF THE THROTTLE STICKS - HOW CARELESS AND INSULTING CAN YOU BE?! THIS IS A SCAM BUSINESS DO NOT BUY THE GEN 2 ROVERS, I ALSO AM COPIED FOR SOME REASON ON OTHER CUSTOMER EMAILS AND OTHER CUSTOMERS HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT THE CYCLEBOARDS TOO! HOW CAN YOU LEAVE ME COPIED ON OTHER CUSTOMER EMAILS? THIS IS A BREACH OF PRIVACY! AFTER SPENDING OVER $4K FOR THIS GARBAGE DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE THAT TOOK ABOUT 6 MONTHS TO ARRIVE, THEY WANT ME TO AGREE TO A 15% RESTOCKING FEE TO RETURN THEM, IS THIS A JOKE? THEY ARE DEFECTIVE! SEND ME MY TWO PRE-PAID RETURN LABELS NOW AND REFUND ME MY MONEY! I was very excited to finally find a scooter that was in stock and had the specs that I was looking for. When I needed assistance with sales questions the team was very responsive and helped me get my order placed with a commitment to ship it out the same day. That was 3 weeks ago (Mind you they are in California and I am in the Midwest) and since then the responsiveness has been abysmal and my scooter is nowhere to be found. A label was in fact created the same day however FedEx claims they’ve never received a shipment and cycle board is pointing fingers that FedEx has it and due to Covid is not processing tracking appropriately. At this point I’ve requested to cancel my order but cannot get any responses and I wish I had taken the other negative reviews more seriously but I was just so excited about the opportunity to get a scooter during this pandemic that I had a lapse in judgment. I’m sharing this review to prevent you from doing the same. I can only imagine what it would be like should the scooter arrive and need any type of support. For something that cost over $2000 I expect much much more!
