Culver's review: Service at Culver's Location

Ordered our food, normal as usual. Then went to select seating. At the time that we ordered, there had been no one behind us (to order) but once we sat down, we began seeing many tables fill up - they obviously got busy, understandable since it was around 6:00 p.m. We sat for over 20 minutes without any delivery of our food. Meanwhile, ALL of the tables that had filled up around us - they already had their food delivered to their table. Finally, we surmised something must be wrong. I went to the counter expecting to see mounds of persons there ordering, but there was no one - just employees standing around doing pretty much nothing other than chatting. I saw our cod dinner and our shrimp dinner just sitting there on behind the counter - I said to the help, can we please get our food? She said, we're still waiting on the burger and fries - your order isn't complete which is why we didn't bring it out to you. However, I saw at least 8 burgers lined up in the slot - ready to be bagged or whatever and several bags of fries sitting there in a slot as well. They didn't want to give us our food but I said, "please let me have those trays - so we don't have to eat cold food." But once we got our food back to the table, we realized, it was already cold - it had obviously been sitting there for a long time - the cod had no heat whatsoever and trying to eat cold shrimp, cold fries and cold cod - was disgusting. The burger was only so-so in terms of hot - it too had just been sitting which they put on the tray while I was there - so why did the help neglect to bring out the food to us? Who knows - perhaps they were too busy listening to the Led Zeppelin music playing in the background - some of the worst music I've heard in years - they were playing in this location - will not return ever!
