I paid in full $515.00 for a custom made lace-front wig from www.crownanglory.com in August 2007. When I still had not received my wig by late October 2007, I called the owner, Kim. After failed attempts at trying to reach her, she finally answered the phone. She said I needed to wait five more days. I waited seven more days and still I received nothing. I left her several voice messages since she no longer answeres the company phone and I have left her emails which she does not respond to anymore. I have not received my wig and I have not received any refund. I will never purchase from this fraudulent company anymore! Buyer beware...

I was scammed by this company too. I had to file a complaint with paypal and a month later I received my order. The new problem is that it was only half of what I ordered. Now I have to file a complaint with the credit card company. You're right, Kim does not respond to emails and the company phone line is "being serviced" for the last 3 weeks. Luckily I was only out of $62.00.

The funny thing about this is I told my boss what happened after speaking to pay pal and he said if you ever want to find out about whether a merchant online is committing fraud just put in the company name and fraud and sure enough I saw these complaints come up. This is crazy I am just lucky I spent only 51.75. I am very sorry for the people who spent more. My thing is why is pay pal still allowing her to use them? Obviously they have had previous claims and her sending the items or returning the money doesnt make up for the fact she intended to commit the fraud. In my opionion pay pal is allowing her to do this and they need to be more careful about their sellers and default sellers who try to use different names and such to get a pay pal account. Ladies just know she will get hers and people who do these things always get caught...CROWN AND GLORY IS A FRAUD DON'T BUT FROM THEM

I purchase a lacefront wig online from the crown and glory company over three months ago and have not recieved my wig, any conformation of my order or have been able to contact the company. I filed complaint with the BBB and they pretty much just tried to call the company with no answer and now I'm out of $430 and I'm pissed. CROWN & GLORY IS A SCAM. MS.KIMBERLY THAT IS HEAD OF THE COMPANY IS A SCAM ARTIST. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!

i have been a victim also of "Kim" and Crown an Glory wigs. i actually bought 2 wigs from her. The first one got to me with no issues at all. I myself, and the client i purchased the wig for loved the quality of the wig, etc. The second purchase was a disaster. It took well over 4 months to receive the wig. I went on her website everyday leaving messages, i called the phone constantly, etc, etc. Finally i called my creditcard company and they reversed the charges for me and wouldn't you know it? She mysteriously calls me when the money is snatched back from her. The next day after she called me, i had a wig dropped off at my door by the mailman. Wow. I knew then i would never ever purchase from her again. It's sad too because the wigs were such good quality and i am having the hardest time finding more of the same. Good luck to you all.

I have been trying to warn people about this woman Kimberly and her website scam. I only oredered wig adhesive that cost me about $20.00. I used PAYPAL so I eventually got my money back through paypal. Paypal tried to contact her and she never responded. She has these videos on youtube showing women how to apply lace wigs. She ought to be a shamed of herself! I noticed that her website is down now, so I assume she has another website some place scamming others. I feel sorry for you that you lost so much money. Here is a TRUSTED website for purchasing lace wigs:

http://www.lynelleslacewigs.com/stockwigs.htm

I bought a wig from this site and got it right away. She also sent instructions on how to apply it and tracking was with the shipping which made me feel confident that the wig is on it's way. Thanks!

Kim is a scam artist! She tells you her story and then when you choose her company to deal with and you pay your money, you won't get your product. She had sent my product in the summer of '07 and it was NOTHING like my specifications. So I in turn sent it back so she could redo it. Then after waiting 6 months! I finally got impatient and called and left emails to no avail. She finally wrote me and claimed that the reason for the delay was that she was reconstructuring her company. It was too late to get my money back from paypal and I sent her more for a better unit and incentive. Over a year later and still nothing. Now it seems the website is closed down! And no emails are working either. I have paid out over $800.00 but I have now found a wonderful company!
DO NOT I repeat DO NOT buy from KIM! She doesn't care about your money.

SCAM, SCAM SCAM! The wig was poorly made, and my lace ripped quick. It took me almost three months to even get the wig, I believe now, they are operating business under a new name... www.isthatawig.com. BEWARE! Kim should be ashamed of herself, defrauding people out of money, and making poor quality wigs.

Hi, I Just wanted to say, I purchased a wig from Kim and I quality was VERY POOR and the C22 that was supposed to be in the order, was not there. I ordered a lace wig, the swiss had a small hole in it, and the streaked colors were supposed to be 33 dark auburn, the steaks were PINKISH! with WHITE hairs that she called DONOR HAIRS. This was my first lace wig, and I was so very excited to get one. I saw this website, and didnt believe that the things I read were true, because went I called her she said she had ALPACA and that she makes lace wigs her people with CANCER. (WHAT A STORY ) . I got the wig, but it was a mess. I had to send the wig back to her, that was 3 days ago, and now she is saying that she did not get it! She thinks that she is going to get my money, well she has the wrong person for that. My money belongs to Jesus Christ, and I will get every cent back. Believe me! I just thought I would tell someone else before this happens to them. PLEASE IF YOU ARE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO READ THIS, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM KIM F. DO NOT DO IT. I REPEAT DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WOMAN. SHE IS NOT WHO YOU THINK SHE IS.! I will let you know what happens with the wig...Till then

Unfortunately I came across this site FAR too late!

I made a purchase for the 'Keesha' wig on 09/21/09...I'm still waiting for it...I've sent numerous emails and have called numerous times...I didn't even know there someone there called 'Kim'! I've left messages and all to no avail.

Obviously it was the price that attracted me as being from the U.K, I thought it was an absolute bargain!

Anyways, to cut a long story short, I WILL NOT be ordering from them EVER again.

DO not order from Kim or hernew company. I was out of over $800. She didn't answer calls, she didn't even answer emails. She stole my money and sent me no product. I contacted pay pal and it was to late to do anything against her. She was so nice it seemed, but she obviously is not. She is a scam artist and a liar. She fed me so many reason why she didn't send anything and why I couldn't get anything from her at first. Then nothing.

Me again (veronica1104) with an update of what has happened since I last vented on here...

Well, since my last post back in October, I STILL haven't received my order OR any follow-up emails or phonecalls giving an explanation of non-delivery and non-communication. So I emailed them and said the next time they'll here from me would be via my bank claiming the whole amount back...and I did just that!...called my bank, gave them the whole run-down, had every email that was sent to & from me as proof and they retracted my money, so..I'm happy now!

I've now placed a new order with LOUISE PIERRE www.lphair.com (who's based here in the UK), had my consultation with her and hopefully, I'll have my new wig before the year is up!

I hope people will now check the background of this company FIRST before giving them your hard-earned cash for something you may never receive. I've learnt my lesson. Remember that all that 'glitters' is NOT gold!

Blessings

Wow! i am SO glad i read all the postings above. Ms Kim (sista) walked up to me in the grocery store in Chicago. she complimented my lace front. 22 inch strawbery blonde indian remy I had recently purchased it from a diffrent on line vendor..it took 3 months to arrive but i must admit i love it!

she gave me her business card and said she could do this and better. she stated i over paid for my unit and that she could custom dye. I told her that I love the human hair and that since she was a local vendor...i would try her in a few months when i was interested in purchasing a diffrent color for the fall...

THANK YOU LADIES FOR THE INFOMATION ABOVE. I WOULD HAVE BEEN SO ANGRY AND BROKE! I will stick with my current vendor...they may be slow but the quality was worth the wait.

thanks!

Hello Ladies,

I must admit that my company Crowning Glory Lace Front Wigs out of Chicago has been some bad press due to this other company Crown -N- Glory or Crown & Glory or Crown An Glory out of another city other than Chicago. But heres the scary part my name is also Kim. You can check out my videos on youtube and my website www.crwoningglorylacewigs.com and you will see with your own eyes that I'm not that Kim from Crown -N- Glory or Crown & Glory ot Crown An Glory lace wigs. So please be mindful when you use my business name in conjuction with this other business ecspically you poglesby21.

Dear ms Kim

First let me say if indeed your company is losing business due to the over whelming number of complaints attached to your business name I would suggest u change it. I don't no why u felt the need to send me a personal message since I DID not Lose money with u or your company. However I did decide NOT to do business with u because of the unbelievable number of complaints that have been posted.

If you are offended I'm sorry however business us business & it sounds to me like u have more to do to recover financilly than shoot pointless emails to someone who lost nothing! I suggest u target the sista's that have lost 60-800 dollars with a company that has a similar name ' & name owner?
Things that make u say hmm... ?

In my opinion I do think that anyone who approaches you in the grocery store compliments your hair and then HATES on another Vendor by telling you that you paid too much money, has to be looked at suspiciously. I wear lace wigs and I'm satisfied with the way my stylist puts them on and she doesn't care where I purchase my wigs from.
