BE WARNED! Crafting on your own in WoW is next to impossible without the usage of the Auction House (AH), which has been horribly corrupted by private businesses. These private businesses employ players to gather crafting materials such as ore, and charging outrageous prices for these items through the AH. If you go out on your own and try to find these materials, you won't find them. The resources are exhausted everywhere you go.
Watch for level 1 players with silly names like "Dklfjabeb". These are the bad guys.
When you find out that what I am saying is true, you'll find those offers to buy in-game gold a little more tempting, but be warned! If you're caught buying this gold, your account will be banned/suspended.
Blizzard has made NO attempt to fix this, and the corruption is getting worse. They now have player-made guilds that are built on nothing more than these kinds of WoW entrepreneurs.
HEADS UP BLIZZARD! PEOPLE ARE MAKING REAL CASH OFF OF YOUR NEGLIGENCE!

*automated response telling about the website*sorry couldn't resist. takes a while to read posts lol. [so many on blizzard/wow]. while i do agree there are scammers in wow grabbing crafting material and ahing it. its not really a issue, in fact I have noticed a zone that all the veins mined rez them after about 5 minuets from the last nod mined. so they would need to have a scammer sit on the zone 24/7 non stop and have runners run them to the ah 24/7 which is kind a obvious if you ask me. i mean just after about 2 hours of mining for mats i need to skill up my mining my bag is full of ore and rocks [my mining pouch] and i only hit maybe 5 veins. go back to the same spot after selling the rocks to a vendor and the vein is back already.
Its not blizzard's negligence...they do a lot to combat spammers and such. My acct got hacked by a spammer and he took everything...literally.just left my characters nude with nothing. And complaining about how the resources are exhausted? I don't see how that could really be an issue. Its first come first serve and the game takes a lot of time and effort to gain things...you can't just expect to have everything handed to you. Maybe wow isn't the game for you...
