So we painted our whole project with Universal Paints (Blackheath) Allcote. We found the paint streaking when painting as a result of not being able to keep a wet edge (drying to quickly). We got the Franchisee shareholder (Neil) involved that was eager to help, & escalated the problem to the founder & manufacturer - Tony Ferreira. In the mean time (1.5 wks )) we tried other manufacturers & got perfect results with Plascon Wall & All with the same painter. Tony then came out to the site & blamed the painter (even though I personally painted some walls & have been doing this for 10+ years). I then proposed we paint a wall then & there, upon which he proceeded to get aggressive & started swearing at me, with '#$% you, I don't have time for this !' & stormed off site whilst still swearing & cursing. Clearly not a people's person, & should not deal with customers, especially not ones that have made him rich for the past 10 years. We have not had this problem with the paint before. His conduct was unprofessional, inexcusable & bordering on slander. I believe their quality has deteriorated & they are now hiding behind a news article of 6 years ago stating theirs to be the best.
