These guys are fake, they promise you you can sell bulk sms at only R 33-bul.you need to pay R 1250 te register, then it takes 4 days for them to respond to emails, and when they respond they are not realy sure how their products work, the CEO must approve everthing, he is never availible, doesnt return calls, emails,

I orderdered bulk sms, on 25 Jan today 13 Feb, still nothing

I am so cross- do not do bussiness with them

I have established that Mr Ntuli is the founder of the Afrivest Tissues company with a Registration Number 2010/071977/23. A person with the name, Ayanda, replied on the third email. However none of my questions were answered. She also send me an agreement with the company and the contents were too good to be true - providing the premises and building, will give you 10000 rolls as start-up stock etc. The old saying still remains - If it is too good to be true, it probably is. I suspected that something was not right from the start as there were no background report of the company although they claimed to be the largest distributor in the business. Furthermore management and ownership was also not clarified. I was just fortunate that I did not fall into the trap. My question is whether websites are not checked for legitimacy maybe through Cipro, Credit Checks etc?

I have been researching business opportunities and have come across the name Philani Ntuli in connection with this and other businesses that people have deemed a scam. The airtime business and toilet paper franchise by a company called Afrivest and supposedly many more. People beware!

Hi all. PI wanted to sign up with a company named Afriline Projects a logistic and transportation contract. The website http://www.afrilineprojects.biz/index.html does not look legit so I did some investigation and got the owner who is PHILANI CEBOLENKOSI GIFT Ntuli. They require one to pay a contract drafting and admin fee of R5'900 but the phone number provided just rings. [protected] Please do proper research before paying any money to a company.

Hi guys. Im also in the same situation and i want my money back. lets form a group and report to the police. Wanted a refund they never refunded me till today and i registered with them 2011 february 15 and i want my money. I dont know how many time i went to them last year. all their numbers are not working now [protected]/[protected]/[protected]/[protected] and cell numbers [protected]/[protected]. non of them and their address was 3 Abrey road by Kloof, Aloe building inside Sanyathi park. In my case I paid more than R4000.00 for a website, I have been calling them as it does not work, everytime I access it it crashes. I have asked Philani for a refund as it has failed to serve my purpose. He has changed his email address and the phone numbers I have are not lobnger working. N Pooe,

My name is Colin America. They also owe me R1000.00 for over a year now. I planned to take legal action against them, but considered the cost associating with it. The same procedure as you experienced it. I will.however, try again as I wa sout of the country for a while. Please keep us posted to what action can be taken.

Philani Ntuli from Spartpaid is a thief and a liar! He never paid over commission due. Asked for payment for 20 phones, sent 10, then asked for them back and never refunded them. He has no conscience or morals. He owes me over R15000 for over a year now. Beware of this CON ARTIST!

guys i ordered an air time manufacturing machine more than two months back and according to the lady at [protected] the machine was supposed to have been delivered on the 28th May 2012 and ever since i haven't been able to get anybody on the telephone numbers that i have used before. I just hope and pray that my money is still save. I do not understand why don't these guys say if they are experiencing any challenges in regards to the delivery of this product because they did mention at first when they did not have stock but promised to have the machine delivered on the said date. Guys, there is some lawyers who would take cases pro-bono if they see there is merit in the case. Cases which has enough media or community attraction. If I were you, i would ask around for such a lawyer. The reason why I am so interested in this is because I withdrew before I committed. That was after researching for satisfied buyers when I stumbled upon you guys who has been taken in. This is not nice, i know it happened to me b4 and I would advice you to try and recover your money by pulling your resources like Dries said. Hope he did find people to side with him. Sueing these people will cost you more than the cost of what you put in, but if you clout together you will pay less and might get something back.

Hi guys, I myself bought into smartpaid around November last year. All though I didnt put any orders through I ran around trying to supply shop owners, little café's and so on with airtime and not one was interested. I havent really had any reason to complain but ive been thinking about asking them for a refund as i can do nothing with the services they offer and especially now after reading all of these complaints I dont want anything to do with these guys. I know its a long shot but would i still be entitled to ask for my R1250 back after so long?

I think we should all sue them to get our money back.Lets stand together on this matter and sue them so we can all get our money which we paid to them back in our own pockets.We should sue the so called MD because he is collecting all our money.Any of you know something about the law and how to go about sueing this person and his company.Lets stand together on this and get our money back.They refused to refund me the R1250 that i paid them when i decided not to do bussiness whith their incompetend company.

I registered as an agent of smartpaid about a year ago. I paid the relevant start up fees and i promoted their products in vain. I have not received a cent of commission that is due to me. This company is a total fruad. I was dealing with PHILANI NTULI. Whenever i enquired about my commission, he kept on making excuses ie FAMILY DEATH, TOO BUSY, HE IS WORKING ON IT etc etc etc etc. Please dont get caught, the commission structures on the website is astounding but it is just there to catch the public. I agree with all of you above. I ordered and paid for a so-called "Airtime Website" around 2 months ago. To this day, I have not received my website. When I called the company, I was told by Robyn that Philani Ntuli was on leave. He must have been on leave for about a month, caring nothing for the fact that I was waiting for my website. When I check "Whois", I see that the domain I ordered has not even been registered. But I have news for this company: If I do not get my website within 2 weeks, I plan to lay criminal charges, for services paid for, but not rendered. I am a single mother, so R6000 is a big deal to me. To anyone who's thinking of joining with this company, STAY AWAY. Put your money AWAY, unless you want to foot the bill for Philani Ntuli's long long vacations!

Disappointed: Eish guys I'm totally disappointed at the above comments. I have already deposited R1250 for registration and was about to deposit more, however decided to do some homework regarding the business. i have had a bit a of sluggish response from them as well, but thought it might have been due to high volume of their calls. I was also told that the dot matrix printer is out of stock until July but I can still proceeed pay and they will set-up an A4 paper voucher temporarily. to which i had some doubts. Last week I sent an email copied the MD with a couple of concerns i.e technical support, legitimacy of the company, if they are members of the FASA since they offer franchise opportunities, to which I haven't had a response. I'm now really concerned and worried. I think I'm going to also have to request for my registration fee refund.

This is the most horrible experience I have ever had. I would like to share my experiences with everyone !

I am still waiting for my refund for over a month now. Nobody in the office is sure when a client will ever get any call back from this MD who is never in the office. I have been calling the office daily for my refund. The staff is petrified of giving their MD's contact details, I was personally told by Robyn that she may get fired. That is how much they must hide their MD who is the only one who has answers to issues like refund. The previous employee Cindy who was responsible for handling issues of refunds was fired last month. Now there is a new person Amanda who is dealing with refunds. This is not a legitimate business practise, I have bought software from USA, Canada and Australia. I have returned goods if I am not happy with the service. I have never been asked to wait for more than 7 days for my refund.

I have repeatedly asked all of them at Smart Paid for the turn-around time for their service, and their most famous line, is our MD will get back to you and we don't know when he will, though!

This is very pathetic. The MD of the company contacted me on the 7th of June and he had all the wrong information which did not surprise me at all. He tells me that he has been investigating the issue ever since and he still has his facts wrong! He says that the reason why my dot-matrix printer did not work is because I had not deposited the money. Believe it or not, I asked him if he is aware of the inconvenience that this is causing me whilst he is launching a fresh investigation with his technical team.

Why should a client who returned a never used equipment like the dot-matrix printer be asked to wait whilst the MD is conducting an investigation as to why the technical team did not help.
I told him that I am not interested in what he does to try and fix the mess in his company ALL I WANT IS MY MONEY refunded.

Mr Philani Ntuli, if you run a proper and efficient business, you would be having a clear Refund Policy. You lied on your response above when you said that you respond within 1 business day. If that was true, I would not still be waiting for your response after 1 month today! You also would not blame your staff when addressing your clients that is very LOW and is called Passing-The-Buck! When speaking to me you blamed your staff for failing to resolve matters. You blamed them for not escalating such important issues properly to you. That is called Vote-Of-No-Confidence on your own business.

After 8 months is not sorted out.They promissed to give my money back and asked me for my bank details, which I did not give, because they must have it on there records. Suposed to pay my re-curring income from the items that I ordered.So I will wait and see, if they do not have all that info of my bank accounts to pay my money back, than I know that is a rip off.
But I also plan to pay them a visit at the office shortly.Will stay in touch

I usually check out how many complaints a company receive before i do anything. Its also important to know how they handled complaints and whether it has been sorted out satisfactorily.
Would like to know how and whether you guys have their complaints sorted out.

I agree it seems to be a good oportunity, but the people are incompetent or otherwise it is a rip off.
I paid my fee and ordered a item.First there was nou stock for 2 months and than I had to fax or send my proof of payment 4 times, because they did not recieved the proof, and that is now 8 months later.But the best one, is that they want to send me, another product that I did not order, because they still do not have the product that I ORDERED.
I thing that any person who likes a business well organized and wants a good service, Please stay away.

If you are being charged, please email me that or contact our office and Speak to Robyn Wilson. We work with hundreds of customers on a daily basis, our main business is airtime, the bulk sms is an extra business we offer you at no cost. Its something we were approached with and use and we decided to have all our clients to also participate.We have clients who make thousands printing airtime with us, if you have encountered a problem you should go and report it on our complaints site www.smartpaidsupport.info . We have over 1900 users working with us and I see you 2 have some issues, please use my site and my support department wil address these issues you 2 have.We have over 1900 useres but we do respond withing 1 business day to your problem. Hi. I too fell into their trap. After taking 2 months to register (strange how they only have X amount of franchises still availavle) I ordered my bulk SMS. After not receiving a reply, AGAIN, I was told that they introduced a new on-line system. The monthly costs of this system are more than my profits. As a small bussiness I stood no chance. Philani Ntuli, the so-called MD, makes his money by ripping off his customers. STAY AWAY!
