MY DAUHTER BOUGHT A HOME FROM RICHARDS ADVANTAGE HOUSING IN ROME, THEY HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. THE HOME WAS DELIVERED IN NOVEMBER OF 2008 AND THEY STILL DO NOT HAVE IT UNDERPINNED OR THE AC UNIT HAS NOT BEEN INSTALLED. DONNA HAS CONSTANTLY LIED AND AVOIDED THEIR CALLS. THEIR LOAN INCLUDED DELIVERY AND SET UP BUT IT HAS NOT BEEN FINISHED, THEY HAVE ALREADY MADE 6 PAYMENTS ON THE LOAN.
MY DAUGHTER WAS TOLD THAT THEY COULD GET THEIR OWN CONTRACTORS TO DO THE GRADING AND SITE WORK AND THE MONEY WAS ROLLED INTO THE LOAN, OUR CONTRACTORS DID THE WORK AND JUST GOT PAID A FEW WEEKS AGO, AFTER SERVERAL PHONE CALLS AND TRIPS TO ROME.
THIS IS NOT A GOOD BUSINESS HOPEFULLY OUR ATTORNEY WILL BE ABLE TO STRAIGHTEN THIS MESS OUT.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
my son was also duped .in Rome, by Donna Richards. He had to leave his job in Ala. and come back to GA. to get another trailer setup com. to go on their lot and pull his trailer off. He had made the mistake of paying her cash for the trailer and for set up. He lost all the money he paid for setup.Looks like with all the people she has cheated the federal law would step in.Has anyone contacted any of the tv station?Maybe if everyone got together and spoke to them they would contact her .we were going to file a law suit. but was told she was filing bankrupacy. But in the gossip sheet in the rome news under lawsuits it was stated she had won a law suit against 2 banks, 1 was regions for almost a half million dollars. I don't know how she could file bankrupacy with that kind of money.F.W
from the info iv receved if you contact the manufaturer of your home and let them know the things that are wrong with the house they may help. ours at least acted like they cared we will see i guess? we have had our house sence dec. '09 and still no ac or underpinning and know when i call both offices will not answer i take it there out of bussniss. we got with our lawyer and he told us to send a letter giving them 10 days to get it done and they never even called us and there 10 days were up last thursday were ill go from here i dont know yet i dont know if the money spent for a lawyer is worth the money weve already paid out of our loan. i wouldnt tell my worst enamy to us this company! they owe one of our contractors 500 dollars he did his work in nov. if anyone has any other idias for me im willing to give it a shot!
they ripped me and my husband off also! donna is the biggest liar i have ever known she keeps telling us yeah sure youre ac unit will be there on so and so date but guess what never happens! we also dont have any bedroom doors. these people are crooks and liars and should be shut down!
I am also having trouble getting contractors paid. I have made many trips from Alabama to Rome GA and nothing is done. I do not understand how someone can run a buisiness this way and stay open as long as they have. I bought my house at the Centre, AL lot and they are worse than Rome.
