In Oct 2009 we signed a contract with Destiny Vacations on behalf of Resort One Weeks for timeshare rentals and an online website to provide condos for rent. In March 2010 we are called by Resort One Weeks and told that Destiny Vacations gave us invalid contracts and that w needed to sign a new contract to get out of our annual Dues..Of course this would cost a price-$2500 - $5000 depending on what we wanted to pay. We met in August 2010 to discuss, we met, we logged into the website and went over the contract we had signed. I got my original contract back, with their opposition, and stated I was going to talk with my attorney. @20 minutes after I left, I was locked out of the website at resortoneweeks.com and i tried to contact them, no luck. I was willing to pay my annual premium in October, but that was not good enough. I have filed several complaints and no responses back. Today, 12/8/10 at 730 pm, I recieved a call stateing that I was in breach of contract and had to come talk with them. I stated I needed somewhere to mail my money to, $179.00 annual dues, and the lady became irrate and would not give me the informaiotn nor tell me where to send the check. Stated I must come talk to her in person to get this worked out and pay money because Destiny Vacations did not pay them fro the service we purchased. It is not my problem who they use for outside vendors. I actually had to hang up on the lady because of loud angry tones and inability to allow me to talk.

I just looked up BBB's website for Resort One and it showed they are not accredited with the BBB. Not sure if BBB's website is just not updated or their membership was cancelled by one of the parties.

Resort One is in no way, affiliated with Destiny Vacations, which is owned by Pierre Bennet, out of Virginia, DC and Georgia. Destiny Vacations also has an F Rating with the BBB. Resort One is owned by Jeff Hall and has an A+ rating with the BBB, to which they are also an accredited business under the BBB and that carries with it, strict requirements for BBB compliance.
