I am a very new business owner, and I was in search of a portable or wireless credit card machine so that I can sell items at flea markets and different locations. I spoke with a representative of Priority Payment Systems by the name of Lance, and he told me that I have to sign an application in order to see if I am approved for a merchant account and to fax over a voided check. After doing all that was asked, Lance emails me another set of documents to lease equipment AFTER I PREVIOUSLY told him I'm NOT interested in any leases. He reassured me that I could do a month to month lease if I decided to have a credit card machine sent to me AND I can cancel at any time I wish. I told him I'm not sure about the credit card lease so I did NOT sign it. Another representative called and asked if I am ready for my credit card, and I said no I'm not. I want to do some more research before I decided because I'd rather buy my own machine than to lease. Over 30 days later - I'm getting an automated payment to this company for $30.98 without receiving any or wanting any services. This automatic payment overdrew my business account so I have to file a complaint with my bank. I have no equipment and glad I never asked for any. I tried calling, emailing, having other people call, but they would not answer any of the calls. I left a message and never received a returned call. I was able to get in contact with a receptionist once and she told me that she could not connect me to Lance or any other representative and that they're offices are at different locations. -_- Why IN THE WORLD would they need a receptionist if their offices are located at several different places?! I'm being prayerful that they refund my money to my account and warn any one else to NOT sign up with Priority Payment Systems. It is discouraging and frustrating to know that there are companies doing what they can to take money away from honest, hard-working people.

We are currently kicking Priority Payment Systems to the curb and have renegotiated a better rate from our original credit card processing company. Our sales rep in Portland OR was named Kamal and he seemed like a very honest up front person, until we had a problem then he was nowhere to be found. When we switched to PPS, we met with Kamal and he assured us that we needed to do nothing and they would take care of transferring our current processing over. I asked specifically if we need to call our original processor and he said NO, he would take care of it. Well he did not and we were charged a basic fee for the not closing out the original service. Called PPS and Kamal said he would take care of it and they would reimburse us. Okay, no problem. Next month, same again. Called Kamal. Not in and no return call. Called him again a week later. Still no response. We called and cancelled out the service on our original processor our self. Tried to call Kamal again. Again, no response and obviously no reimbursement. We are done and will happily not only not recommend them, but will make sure to warn others against them as well. As a small business owner I don't have the extra time or money to throw away on this BS, so goodbye PPS.

I am a very experienced small business owner. Thru the purchase of $146, 000 worth of new car wash equipment I ended up buying a new automatic teller machine for the customers to use when purchasing an automatic wash. I was told by the equipment seller that I had to leave Global Payments Systems whom I have used for many years and loved their service, to Priority Payment Systems. Well, long story short it was a total disaster. Now, long after I have left them they are still trying to send thru charges to my checking account. Each month I have to have my bank deny and return these charges. Trying to find someone at Priority to stop this fraud is impossible.
Never ever use these ### crooks. Horrible people and horrible service and they never quit trying to steal your money.

How can I file complaint them by messing my 1099? I kept calling them month ago about the issue. But they said they helped me out, whenever I called they kept saying we were working for you. I told them if anything turn bad. i will file complaint to them. And they said we couldn't stop you file compliant. That's meant they didnt even care my situation

I have read your posts and I agree that Priority Payment Systems is a one way company that has no partners and cares nothing for customer service. I HAVE had several businesses. I HAVE had credit card processing companies. I HAVE had great successes in those relationships. I recently signed on with Priority Payment Systems and cannot believe how unprofessional this company is. I received an order from a customer and spoke to the card holder who stated it was a stolen card. I cancelled the order and reported the charge to Priority Payment Systems as fraud. The next day, they tried to take the funds from my bank account for this order. I called to explain that this money was never deposited in my account and I reported it to the fraud department. They told me they froze my account and will not stop attempting to take the funds for this transaction from my account. I told them it does not make sense? The money never exchanged hands? It never went into my bank account, why should it come out? They told me that my account was on hold so they need to refund the customer? I know this sounds crazy. It is absolutely true. I asked to speak with a supervisor and the person on the line said "Yeah, That's not gonna happen". You can choose to believe this or not. It is fact. Priority Payment Systems has only one priority...themselves. They care nothing for the businesses that support them. If you are looking for a business partner. Make it your priority to steer clear of Priority Payment Systems. They can service themselves.

Well merchant your probably the sales representative and not a merchant. Priority has continue to grow but one of their growing pains is lack of proper customer service. I too have experienced poor customer service and the sales representative was a fraud. Matt Mills, he is such a lier and fraud. He never answers his cell phone and their customer service representatives don't know who he is. What gives Priority? What gives?
Later to find out that Priority DOES NOT pay their Sales Representatives properly. That in itself shows the type of company you are dealing with. Shame on you Priority Payment Systems. Start off by treating people with respect and separate yourself from the other snakes out there.

In all honesty...you said it all in the first few words. "I am a very new business owner." This statement speaks volumes about not only the amateur level of business experience you have, but also contributes to the lack of professionalism used while seeking your processing options. Whether it be through Priority Payment Systems or any of the other thousands of companies, an educated business owner would/should not sign any contractual agreements unless they have a face to look at and a hand to shake. Remember these simple rules in the future and you will be sure to avoid any potential misunderstandings. With the merchant services industry specifically, you really need to cover your bases. This entails looking in to the background of the actual registered ISO or "Provider" then following the paper trail to the reseller you are dealing with directly. As a small business owner, your local profile should be an important structural foundation for the growth of your business, this being said, your choice of reseller should aim to be as close to a local representation as possible. I know personally that when our small business started we too found Priority Payment Systems. It introduced itself to our newly formed company in the form of a local grown and very motivated young man who showed continuous support before having earned our business. To sum up our success story, our rep has to this day shown exceptional service through Priority Payment Systems and allowed us to grow as successful business partners. This message urges those "honest, hard-working people" to remember to act both thoroughly and professionally when making decisions for the bettering of their dream, and to note that nearly every single merchant services provider has built their business on the description above..except Priority Payment Systems. The receptionists may wait a few rings before answering my call but it's always much more satisfying to hear an actual voice at the other end than a machine. Thank you Priority, for providing me with honest, thorough, and consistent services for me and my business. Good luck to all the new business owners out there and don't forget to do your homework!
