I am having the same problem. Ordered posters last year in November and cancelled my membership after the first posters came and had no problem with them until now. They charged my account $79 on Nov.27 without my consent and I cant all their agents are busy. Have already called my credit card company to dispute the charges when I could not get ahold of them. Same here, I have filed complaints with BBB and FTC.

I had the same thing happen to me. I got ripped off in November of 2008, falling for the 5 for 25 deal. I then was charged 4 more times for posters, AFTER i canceled my subscription. The charges finally stopped until November 2009 when the charged me 79 bucks for "membership fees". I called the company and someone answered and told me I was charged by 'mistake' and that it was a 'computer glitch' and my money would be refunded, two weeks later, no such luck. I've called 200 times with no answer. I've placed complaints with the FBI and BBB and encourage everyone else to do so as well.

I'm just disgusted that they are ripping so many people off (including me!)... I actually contacted my local FBI office and they told me that unauthorized charges to your credit card IS CREDIT CARD FRAUD and is handled by the United States Secret Service Agency! I've already left a message with them and I will be filing a complaint and making them aware of Peel, Inc. Please do the same... Together we can expose this company!

But you agreed to the terms when you purchased. It's not their fault. You're to blame for this not them.

Six months ago, I ordered five posters for $25 total from Posterpass. I received them. Then, I canceled my account. I received this email:

from CustomerService@posterpass.com
to [redacted for privacy]
date Thu, Apr 2, 2009 at 10:04 AM
subject Cancellation Confirmation

hide details Apr 2

Dear [redacted for privacy], we greatly appreciate your business. Per your request your account with Poster Pass has been canceled. You will not receive any further shipments or billings from us. Please do not reply to this email. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at: [protected]. Your confirmation number is: [redacted for privacy] .

About two weeks ago, they put through an unauthorized charge for $79 to my credit card. I called the credit card company and had them cancel the charge. Last week, they put through another $79 charge to my card. I called the credit card company and let them know again that this is a bogus charge. I've emailed Posterpass, and I've called and left them messages, but I haven't heard back from them.

This company is run by thieves who belong in prison.

I got 4 posters for $8 dollars and that was three months ago. when I got the posters I called and told them to cancel my membership and the lady said she would. now 3 months later I am charged $79 dollars. I have been calling the customer stupor number for 2 days now and no one will answer, I called them 12 times in a row and still nothing.

I completely agree to this!

I also did a deal to buy 4 posters for $4. Next thing I know I'm billed 4 installments of $39.80! I called asking why am I being billed this much and I want a refund, the guy said just return the merchandise and I would receive my refund. Nothing else was said.

Long story short, I've long returned the posters and have been lied to by this company and I have yet to receive my refund. This is going on 3 months of this BS and now they're just holding onto funds that do not belong to them. Everytime I call them they tell me something different and add days to when I will get refunded. Enough of this run around ###.

Go to www.ftc.gov to file the complaint.

Keep calling and keep on their tail so they won't get lazy and steal your money!

The name of the Parent Company is Peel.com.

This company runs scams on tea, coffee, posters, and hosts various domain names. Everyone needs to report them to the FTC.

www.FTC.com and file a complaint. I did, I have also filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and I have calls into local Federal Attorneys. Enough of this, you guys can e-mail me if you want, I want to put together a team of people who have been abused by these companies and go after them, balls to the walls!

I ordered the 4 posters for $2. I received 5 boxes, 4 containing posters I did not order. I called posterpass.com and canceled my membership. A few days later, 4 more boxes showed up. I had them all sent back with the promise of a full refund. This was almost a month ago. Around that time, I tried to make a purchace with my debit card and it was declined. I looked up my account and saw that posterpass.com charged me $39.80 THIRTEEN TIMES IN TWO WEEKS! I had to cancel my mortgage payment and we have been scraping by ever since. When I talk to their costomer service, they are very rude to me. Even though I am EXTREMELY upset, I think I've been doing a great job of keeping my cool, still, they're rude. How would those people feel if I got into their accounts and took from them over $500? I don't think they would be as patient. They tell me they can't refund my money because they didn't receive the posters back yet. On top of that, when they DO finally receive them, it's going to take 2 WEEKS to process my refund! I don't understand that part and that's where the costomer service people get really snippy at me when I ask. When you return something, generally you get your money back as soon as they receive the item. I'm seeing other posts from other people burned from posterpass and they say they've been waiting for their refunds for months! Every time they call, those people push back the date of when they're to get back their money. How are these people still in business?!?

I ordered five posters for $5.00 each with free shipping off a promotional offer by Poster Pass. My credit card was billed $25.00 on the 3rd of April. Then on the 5th of April I was billed again, this time for $39.80 and under another company name Direct Decor Direct. Upon further research this Direct Decor is apart of Poster Pass. The company is trying to bill me again for another $39.80. I am starting to get seriously pissed off that a company practices such irresponsible actions again consumers. How can you purposely disregard your own promotional offers and erroneously charge a indivdual's credit card with such outrageous charges without approval from the consumer? No where in the offer/agreement is there anywhere stating that you have to buy addtional products! How the heck do you send posters you didn't even ask for or see? How long has this company been doing this without a lawsuit or on a bad consumer shopping site or something? I have read some of the following reports and these actions by this company is making me ill. I am a Army sergeant currently stationed in Iraq and this is the freedom my guys and I are laying ours lives on the line trying to protect? What a freaking joke! I hope other individuals, especially military service members, read my complaint and stay away from this company and it's website until they get their act/actions together!

I had the same problem with the company. I found their site from an Amazon pop-up after completing an order on Amazon. I too though the $2 a poster for 4 posters was a good deal. When completing the order, it did not give me a complete total on the order and claimed an email would be sent out with the final amount. At no time during this transaction was there any notice of the shipping charges. I never received my email. On Monday, I used my card to purchase dinner and it was declined. I went home to check my bank account. I saw the charge for $34 and immediately called their number. The person I did get on the line claimed the site had a shipping policy posted and that I should have received a final total on my "welcome email" - the email I did not receive, despite entering the correct information into the form. I stated I immediately wished to cancel as $26 to ship four posters was an outrageous amount for shipping. The next day, I checked my bank account and found they had charged my card an additional $40. I again contacted their offices to find out. According to the person on the line, I had signed up for a subscription service and they were sending my next order, they stated this was stated clearly on the site. I went to their website and found the "Terms of Service." I confirmed that it did state I was signing up for a service, but that it also stated that after the initial order, I could expect the next to come "about a month after receiving the introductory package." I stated my initial order was placed three days ago and that I expected the order cancelled and the amount refunded immediately. He tried to argue that they could charge that amount as I had signed up for the service. I explained that a phone call to my bank, reporting it as an unauthorized charge - which it was - I was not expecting an immediate second charge to my card and even by their posted policy, I could have expected it a month later. He agreed to cancel the order and refund the amount charged, but that it would take 7-10 days to process a refund. I explained to him that his charges have incurred NSF penalties of $90 on my account due to the second charge and that the refund better be processed quickly or I would press charges. I might have overlooked the exorbitant shipping on the original order had they not immediately charged me for a second order. I might not have minded having a subscription service, provided I was the person choosing the posters being sent to me. This service is fraudulent and should be avoided at all costs!

I've also ordered 4 posters for 9.99 and being charged 38 dollars the first time and then $48 the 2nd time for two posters that I immediately sent back. Do not use this website. They sent you posters that you don't want and charge you ridiculoues prices for shipping and handling!

I ordered posters on poster pass and I read the terms and details and it does say that I would receive posters every month but it didnt say how much shipping and handling would be. I Just feel they should put the price down and let me determing whether I wan the posters after that, but when I called to return they where very professional and refunded my account with no problem.

I received a link to Posterpass.com from one of these get paid for reading E-mail company's. Well I thought 4 posters for $2 each thats reasonable. Little did I know that by the time I was charged it came to $39 after they added shipping. Then a few days latter they were charging me an additional $48 for two more posters that they send out. I didn't request any more they just are sending them. It seems to work kinda like BMG or Columbia house except I think this is someone just working out of their home ! Their website doesn't offer any E-mail address nor can you cancel online. Don't fall for this scam! I am sorry I ever did.
