Laptopz.com Dell laptop replacement charger

I just wanted to let you know about the laptop charger I bought from you in July...that how long it worked...it's overheating and the seal of the unit opened up...when connected to the laptop my touch pad is very inaccurate, so I have to unplug it to work correctly.

Very unhappy with your product

I wouldn't buy anything from this website.

I purchased a Lenovo laptop replacement keyboard from Laptopz.com and suddenly my debit card number was being charged unauthorized international skype charges, etc. Turns out I didn't need the keyboard after all so when I went to return it, i was hit with what was pretty much a 50% restocking fee.

DO NOT buy anything from this sham company. I also received several "broken english" emails/correspondence from them, so that further heightened my suspicions.

I bought a Laptopz.com charger and it was working fine for a few months. One day it melted and burned a hole in my carpet, and had I not been home, could have burned my house down! Avoid Laptopz.com.. I was using the correct charger as specified!

Laptopz.com Lost Shipment

Purchased LCD screen with shipping insurance. My item was misdelivered and lost by USPS. ScreenAid refused to file an insurance claim or refund my money even though the local USPS office verified the item was lost. I'm assuming they never purchased insurance on my shipment as they refuse to provide the insurance information to me. I have tried working with them for over a month and they continue to tell me my item has been delivered...which is amazing since our local USPS office never recieved it. Note we are in a very large office building with it's own post office.

This was for a business purchase but I unfortunately had to put it on my personal credit card since it was an Ebay purchase. Laptopz did not insure the package (as verified by USPS) even though I purchased insurance and that is why they would not make a claim. I'm currently disputing with my credit card but USPS needs to provide documentation which I've been getting the run around on.

Ordered a power adapter for my Dell laptop... Product works fine... Problem is I used my business CC and had my identity stolen
Had a .06 cent (test) charge then 8 charges of 75.00 ea.
My bank & Visa is now investigating the web site and company!

Thanks for the A/C Adapter
Now prepare to go to prison.

STAY AWAY! I bought a laptop battery in April of 2010. It went bad in a matter of days. They had me go through this ridiculous testing procedure before they would give me a RMA, but I did it and I sent the battery back and they said they had to "repair" my battery and send it back. I let them screw me around until it was too late to complain to ebay. they wanted me to pay an additional $15 to send me a new battery before mine was repaired. I refused. They now say (six and one half months later) that, yes, the battery is bad and want me to pay them $12 for shipping the "repaired" battery to me. They now will not answer emails. This is a scammer and thief. Buy elsewhere.

If they get the part right that you ordered you might be ok. otherwise get ready for conflict. They tried to refund shipping only and told me to keep the power cord they sent that didnt fit my computer and I still had to pay for it. Then when I refused to keep the useless cord they wanted me to pay to ship it back plus send them more money to cover shipping on another cord that may not even fit. they could not crossover any part numbers or model numbers of my hp computer to get me the proper cord. What a joke this place is. Stay away.

After many emails (which they apparently only answer 1 per night at about 3am) they FINALLY gave me a return authorization and said once they receive the battery, they will send the correct one. Mysteriously, they “never received” the battery back that I sent Priority Mail (insured). I smell BS here, I don’t know all of the particulars but I think they are scam artists. I’m glad I decided to spend the extra money and send it that way instead of the “standard mail” way they insisted I send it. At least I have a chance of getting my money back. STAY AWAY! I have a gut feeling that I’m not the only one they have scammed this way.

I ordered a charger specific for my make and model laptop. Of course, it did not fit. They had me take and send numerous pictures of my laptop, adapter and pins from my adapter and the one they sent. They said they did not carry one that would fit my laptop and had me return it. I did receive a refund but they would NOT reimburse my return shipping costs - said it was my responsibility to make sure the item was the correct one. When I pointed out that according to their listing this was the correct one, that they had sent me the wrong one, they replied they had no "extra"(?) money to give me for a refund and offered me a meager 5% discount on a future purchase. Seriously?! This was a HUGE hassle, I wasted weeks of time over this nonsense and am still out the shipping and have no charger. GRrrrrr!

They sent the wrong part to me twice. Once for an lcd inverter that wasn't anyway near the same as the one i needed and once for a lcd screen that didn't have the correct mounting assemblies for the inverter or lcd to the frame. Their solution was to use tape to mount the stuff. They haven't processed the refund yet, and if they don't i will be submitting another complaint. Don't get burned by these idiots! Make sure you can get someone on the phone with whoever you order stuff from.

Through laptopZ.com I have had nothing but good luck.
I did have an issue with 1 item (inverter) however they took care of the issue.
I have been using them as a supplier for over a year and one issue is actually ok in my book.
I guess every dog has its day, that sucks.

I had the same experience! I purchased a battery for my wife's Dell and it failed after about 4 months. I returned the unit per their request and it has been 2 months and NO replacement! They give me a standard response every time I request status on the return. They offered to send me a new battery for $6. I think they are trying to scam me. 6 bucks isn't a lot, but I think the principle is all wrong if I send them the money. I would stay away from these crooks.

LaptopZ does not honor their warranty - I had a new laptop battery that was great for a week then went dead. Not only did I have to pay shipping back (and the original shipping to me) but they wanted me to pay for shipping back to me for replacement of the defective one...thats after about 30 emails.

AVOID THIS SCAM COMPANY AT ALL COSTS - blatent ny asian ripoff!

Laptopz.com Illegal products, fake guns

Stay away from screenaid, laptopz. com, gaingame. com, yallstore. com, yallstock. com, yall, ect...

Recently ordered wii accecssory on the web thru gaingame. com, when I opened the box and saw a gun inside, it look very real, I could almost not able to tell the difference. And I email them back and they said they didn't ship the wrong item. I went to their both locations, found they were working at nights. There's no sign or store front, but there's a buzzer also there's drive way locking spot.
All of their dot com names are running thru the main business name (Gaingame inc. ) registered in 2006, and it's almost 3 years and it's about time for them to change business name because they owe irs money by collecting all sales taxes not reporting to.

I found their telephone number thru google and verizon yellow pages.

I returned a product and they charged me a 20% restocking fee, which was in accordance to their return policy. But this was the first time in my life that a company kept the total of the sales tax on a returned item. They didn't even give back 80% of it. Their explanation was: "The sales tax is collected by the the local tax bureau." Sounds fishy to me. Just for that experience I would not buy from them again.

First, cannot keep up with all the names used for this company...Yall, Gadget town..etc.! Second, seems every time we make corporate purchase I have Fraud on my Corporate CC within weeks after. I have put a STOP at work for all purchases to this company. Cheap but not worth the aggravation of Fraud!

Do not buy from them! I do not believe they are in the US. They sent the wrong laptop replacement keyboard and refuse a return. I was chatting with someone at the company and in the middle she terminated the chat. They do not have a phone number.

STAY AWAY FROM LAPTOPZ. They sell on ebay and advertise a 3 year warantee on laptop batteries. The batteries are junk and fail after about 3 months. They won't stand behind their warranty and will not respond to emails.

This is a one man show, not a big reputable company. They literally stole from me. "Warranty" is a joke if you are out of the 45 day eBay complaint period and are out of the complaint period of your credit card or Paypal. They just ignore you and won't answer emails or phone. These are thieves.

Wow...I wish I'd thought to do a little research before purchasing an an AC adapter from Laptopz.com through eBay. It was really cheaply priced but now I know why. It worked for a short time and then began to have intermittent issues until it finally stopped working. I should mention here that the item was advertised using a picture of the adapter with "3 Year Warranty!" as part of the image. I'd already left "positive feedback" which I'm sure is part of the reason the company is rated so highly on eBay. Here is the catch. Once the item's defectiveness becomes clear (and it will...), it will likely be beyond the 45 days you have to complain to eBay, beyond the 60 days you have to file a complaint through PayPal and you will have already left your positive feedback since everything seemed great when you first receive your item. The part that makes the company so absolutely horrible is this. Just try and actually USE your so-called "warranty". I tried contacting them multiple times through eBay, through their given email address, through their own "instant chat support". I got absolutely NO response with the exception of the instant chat. After stating that my item wasn't working and I was requesting warranty service, I was told the represented only dealt with web site issues but would "send" my information along to the company. Of course, I got no response. EBay graciously logged a record of my complaint and suggested they'd shot the seller down if enough people complained. I'm guessing most people will just let it go due to the low cost of the items and the trouble it takes to pursue the issue. I'm not even sure if I'd rather be one of the people offered a replacement for a "fee" that's more than the original price. They suck either way. Apparently, he's figured out that it's more efficient to just ignore the buyer completely. To see their misleading ratings on eBay makes me question eBay's reliability now. Like another poster wrote, this person has figured out a way to repeatedly scam people through eBay and I see it's been going on for a while now. What's to stop people from listing an item with "a 50 year warranty!" and then just ignoring anyone who tries to use it?

This is a one man operation no matter how many names he uses in his emails. Chinese immigrant who has figured out how to steal through eBay. If you bought through eBay, complain now, don't wait. If not through eBay, dispute the credit card charge right away. If through your bank, ask them if you have any recourse.
