I have bought a T-shirt of ‘Killer’ brand during their sale (discount) season. There was some dust on it so I rinsed it in cold water. To my surprise the color of the T-shirt faded. It had two shades white and green. As soon as I dipped the t-shirt in the water the water turned green and that color got on to the white part. I have been asking the company to get it replaced for me but they are telling me that goods sold during sale season cannot be replaced. Is there such a rule that discounted items do not come under the rule of replacement? I am going to the consumer court to get some knowledge about it and will surely take them to court if they fail to take appropriate actions

I bought a killer jeans (comfort fit) on 02/07/2013 from m/s SAI Apparels, Mansorovar, complex, Bhopal under regular scheme(fresh arrivals). But even before I could wash it it started tearing off like old news paper. Being on continuous tour, I asked (telephonically) the shopkeeper to help me but he replied that he would be sending the same to company for replacement. I asked for commitment but he refused.
Now I am thinking of going to consumer court because if company refuses to accept my claim then I will be left with no proof. I already have experience of winning at consumer courts even against a multinational.
