I paid Kevin Ellner upfront for landscaping work that was never completed. A single worker came the first week and tore up the back patio area and dirt. Some brush removal was done and piled up in the front yard. It took three months of weekly requests before the debris piles were finally moved. . There is always a promise that the work will be done tomorrow or next week that materials have been ordered. Three and a half months later, I am still waiting for the project to be completed and for the materials supposedly ordered in the first week.

I had previously used the services of Kevin Michael Ellner (alias Kevin Eler) around 2013, just after I had moved into the address at 7508 Wood Cliff Dr. He satisfactorily completed a $3500 patio and a $6000 garage office. I was solicited by him several years later for no reason, accepted a bid from him, and he has both failed to complete the work or return my funds. Additionally, he damaged my home. I am suing to recover as much as I can in small-claims court, but he cannot be found to be served. If you have any information, please let me know.

He's still up to this. How do we stop this guy?

YOU just did... He almost got me today. I actually wrote him a check and googled him. I kept looking and found this add. I immediately stopped payment within 30 minutes of him leaving and thank GOD he hadn't tried cashing my check. It's weird my intuition was telling me to look into him first. BUT I should've done that before I wrote him a check. PHEW I got very luck

Kevin Ellner ripped us off as well. We paid him to do some work in our front yard. The short version is that the raised bed gardens look awful and we will probably have to replace them. The granite we were going to use for the xeroscaping was mixed in with fill dirt, the weed barrier isn't weed barrier at all, it is tar paper used for roofing. I'm taking this scammer to court and it will be worth my time to do so, I will file every single lien I can, every complaint I can and if I can get him in jail, I will happily do so!

Sorry for your encounter with Kevin. Basically you have a guy who shows up saying he can do this or that, you cut him a check for thousands of dollars for upfront costs and you never see him again. Or, he returns for some additional money and you pay with the hope that he will continue a partially started project, but he doesn't. He doesn't pay his workers either. All we can do is to keep getting the word out that this guy is a liar and a thief. Please consider going to court to get your work done or your money back. Maybe getting your money back would be the better choice; he can pick up any guy from the work corner to complete the work and if you don't like the results? Well at least he did the work...you see? No, it would be more safe to ask for reimbursement and check out a better known company to get it done right.

This guy (Kevin Ellner, Kevin Michael Ellner) has been ripping people off for years in this area. He does (or has done) business under: Prestige Landscape, Ecodesign Landscaping Services, Garden Company, Elements Landscape Services, etc.

He was even featured on one of the local news channels (something like ‘7 on Your Side’ Landscapers gone bad) probably 10 years ago as a corrupt landscaper.

I’m going to take a guess that he ripped off this person as well: http://www.kevinellner.com You can find the owner of the web site through whois.
