Instyle cut, polished and installed limestone counter tops in our kitchen. They also installed a sink which we purchased through Lowe’s. We also purchased slate floor tile from them which we had installed by another contractor.On the day of the counter install, they informed us they had dropped and broke our new sink. The only alternative was to install it cracked and broken and they agreed to order us a new one. Over two months later, they received a sink and installed it. It was the wrong color. They have never installed the right sink for us and have not responded to a complaint from the BBB. They have received a final warning from the BBB over this. They also did a poor job of cutting and polishing the countertop and did not secure our dishwasher to the new countertop as they should have. They have been terrible to communicate with. The installers spoke little english and couldn't answer questions. At one point the owner, Lennart Wiktorin told Alexandra, who works in the office, to fix this and even told her it wasn't our fault. She has lied to us and will not talk to us on the phone. I have called and emailed the owner and he refuses to reply. The BBB can't even get them to respond in a timely manner.

Instyle charlotte is a horrible company that not only cheats its customers but also its employees as well. I would never recommend them, in fact I would go so far as to tell everybody to ensure they avoid this horrible company at all costs.

I guess some people have nothing better to do than to spread bad rumors about others. I feel sad for both of you people who had to write such awful things about Instyle, I guess you do not have time for a real meaningful life. Just let me tell you my complain: I am complaining about your fake complaint.
Instyle has been in business for over 15 years. If you are a business man you would know you do not stay in business by being a horrible company, you stay in business because you do a great job and you deliver the services you were hired to deliver. Let's do some math: more than 15 years in business, over 45, 000.00 jobs done and Oh..Roger and Alan, 2 very unhappy people! Vow, 45, 000.00 happy customers and 2 very vendictive and unhappy people writing about how bad Instyle is...vow, I wonder who this 2 ...really are? Are they 2 of those people who no one can please? I bet you they might even be on their 3rd marriage...ah, ah! Oh maybe they are jelous and try to put some bad out there to get business for their company... or maybe ...maybe they are just evil and that is all.
Instyle did my kitchen and the only complaint I have is that I miss their attention, the designer consultants there are fantastic, both ladies have great ideas and spend long time trying to come up with the perfect plan for your home. The product itself is beautiful and well crafted. The installation team was always on time and courteous, as I said before I miss their touch and I will definately use this company again.
But do not believe all you read, find out for yourself, call Instyle and let them show you how great they really are. PS: all the people who work there have been with the company for over 8 years, therefore all that was said by these 2 complaining people above, must have done this out of personal interest, however I find it tacky and very disturbing. How can 2 grown individual set out to hurt a family business with people as nice as Instyle have! I cannot believe what this world has come to. People, get a life and try doing some good sometimes instead of bad, you will feel better about yourself at the end of the day.

The complaints above dont make any sense to me...I purchased my Granite from Instyle at a great price and the service was awesome. The poeple there are very nice. I LOVE THE SHOWROOM SOOOOOOO PRETTY. I guess some people are just not happy with anything anymore. I will purchase more countertops with them in the future for sure. I have to disagree with Alan and Roger. Sussan Franklin.

InStyle has horrible customer service. The sales people are arrogant and have terrible communication skills. The attitude there is that the "customer is always wrong" . One of their female sales people misrepresented herself and the business. My comment and the comments above are providing an honest opinion of our experience.

This company is beyond horrible. First let me say they rip off people. Products there are marked up so high it's ridiculous. I mean the owners have a high expense to pay up for all the foreign cars and their luxury living... On top, they have horrible attitude. The owner Lennart Wiktoron didn't even want to shake my hand because I think I'm black. He made up a story that he had a cold but shook somebody else's hand while I was walking thru his showroom for tiles. Disgusting to the point that I had to make a comment about this. Let me just say, all the tiles you see there you can easily find it online or at another tile
Shop. After this racism, I did not buy anything from this company because I was a guy of color. My neighbor mention not to go to instyle due to the fact of high prices but I wanted to see the tiles either way. I don't recommend this company at all to anybody. Only white wealthy people who like getting ripped off go there.

Michael Douglas, if this is your real name, you are a very sad person with race issues and probably other issues. As it ever occurred to you that if he did not shake you hand, while being sick, was to keep you healthy? and maybe later on, he was sick enough to have forgotten to tell the other person and just shook his hand because he just did? Not every action is meant to be an insult to others: is the glass half empty or half full? A lot of times the answer is in the way you look at things. I feel sorry for you and hope you will get some help to resolve your issues. I could say you are racist because you were looking at him as a white man, not a man! What a world we live in, good luck to you. As far as your other comments, as they are not true, it leads me to believe that maybe you are a jealous competitor who is trying to trash Instyle's name hoping to get business coming your way. To that let me tell you that the proof is in the pudding! What does that mean? It means that any of you can say all the best lies you want, but in the end our customers, the people we service day in and day out, the employees that have worked at this company, as myself, we all know that Instyle is a great company, we are a group of caring, honest and fair working people. We are white, black, yes black, and hispanic working people doing a great job every day. Whoever you are, I feel sorry for you as you must have a lot of personal issues. There are places that can help you with such things: anger classes, NAAC, private counselors, if you are real I suggest you get some help, if you are made up (especially with the name Michael Douglas, is your wife called Zeta Jones?) I suggest you trying working harder and longer that is how you get business not by defamation of others.
