Great Expectations / No young women!

1 United States Review updated:

Are you a guy in your mid 20's looking for a woman in her Mid 30's? Then Great Expectations may be the service for you. I got suckered into a membership with the "I can see that you can get girls on your own, but we have great girls-- in their early 20's-- that are actually serious about dating. Unlike the ones you will meet at clubs/bars."

The problem with this service is that they charge many many thousands for a service that should cost a couple of hundred, at best. Also, good luck using the 3 day "money back guarantee period," since you won't see your potential matches until weeks later. And when you do see your matches, be prepared to barely see anyone remotely young. And a good portion of the girls on there, well... I am not going to be mean, so I will just let you use your imagination.

I am one of the few people that "escaped" great expectations by contacting their email address on their site, which is concerns AT and when that didn't work, I contacted ABC 7 on your side News Program ;)

I am another sucker from great expectations. I got a hold of the owner but he never canceled my membership. He told me he would for $500.00, and would apply all I've paid so far to the debt, but later told me all I've paid so far is membership dues. They are rapidly ruining my credit by overdrafting my card as well as lying out their ###. Please help if you know any way to put them out of my life and wallet. They're driving me nuts, and I could only wish to press a lawsuit to have even a small recursive action. Worst part is, I haven't ever even been able to use the damn thing...

Great Expectations dating service is a joke. I joined in 2007 and 10 months later I have only talked to 1 other member. This service was totally misrepresented to me upon sign up, and now I find out that this office hasn't even beeen doing the background checks that they claim they do. They seem to be getting sued left and right, I think I will be next.
