For the last 3 years I have been using this company for hosting services. The annual hosting cost was the same every year. This year, when I went to renew my services the prices jumped up over double the cost. Obviously in shock I contacted Domains Priced Right thinking it was a computer error.
1st - I was on hold for ages.
2nd - The customer service rep Chris that answer was completely rude and let me know that the company did not have an obligation to notify their customers about price changes they only have to notify the customer about the renewal
3rd - when I stated that it was unethical to bill customers for a price they did not agree on he then retracted and stated that notification on price changes were sent out. (Which was clearly false as I did not receive any notification)
4th- Chris was completely unprofessional and I believe this company is ran out of someones basement due to the weird background noises.

I did ask to speak to a manager in which Chris replied, "he wont do anything for you" and then proceeded to place me on a 20 minute hold.

At this point i was flabbergasted and when Chris came back to tell me that I would have to hold again for the manager I request that he cancel my account in which he said "You can cancel it yourself"

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - DOMAIN PRICED RIGHT is completely unprofessional and fraudulently tried to charge my old credit card for an amt I did not agree to.

I noticed on 18 December 2013 that my website http://www.pennystockinvestingguide.com has disappeared from the internet. Logging in on the web address, I landed on a page where a company by the name of Domains Priced Right has been advertising my website. This is done completely unauthorized. I have no dealings with a company such as Domains Priced Right and never had in the past. When I proceeded to send an email, I landed on a webpage referring me to [protected]@secureservice. In stead of immediately investigating the matter, this site required from me to go to my "Login Page" and then retrieve my password before I could be attended to. Since I have no dealings with Domains Priced Right, I have no login page, and obviously no pass word.

This is highly irregular. Worst of all, I have been deprived of an income fro my website. Your assistance will be highly appreciated.

They sent me a renewal notice for my web site. The payment address included a redirect to them from the real destination. Their note said my credit card would expire BEFORE the domain could be renewed and that I needed to update it. That is totally false. I had previously checked my account and the card on file is good for several more years. I can only presume this is a 'phishing' scam to try to get my credit card information.

It appears that GoDaddy.com has set up a fake reseller company called DomainsPricedRight.com A client of mine has had her account moved to this company without either her consent or her knowledge. This company then set her account to auto-renew without her consent and renewed her account for a year without her authorization or knowledge.

GoDaddy.com told her they knew nothing about this company when she called them and told her she would have to call them.

I am a former GoDaddy support rep and know how the system works. I called and told them my background and then got them to admit that DomainsPricedRight is a wholly owned company by GoDaddy that they use to move accounts to when a reseller account expires.

The issue is that the account was not moved to this company when my reseller account expired. I KNOW that it reverted to GoDaddy as over the succeeding months I accessed the account to do modifications to the website. I was entering the account at GoDaddy.com.

We recently found out, when I was not able to login at GoDaddy.com, that the account is now at DomainsPricedRight.com.

When speaking to the "Office of the President" at GoDaddy I was told their records tell them that this account was NEVER at GoDaddy, that it went straight from my reseller account to DomainsPricedRight.

DomainsPricedRight.com shows in whois that it is owned by GoDaddy. It is their address and phone number in the registrant data. They have it one layer removed by showing it registered by WWdomains.com, which is also a GoDaddy company (Wild West Domains).

So, this company is taking accounts from the main GoDaddy system and moving them to their servers and then changing auto-renew from off to on so they can automatically renew the accounts and neither ask for permission, nor inform the customer.

I believe this is shady and unethical at best, and at worst is out and out fraud.
