On 5/6/2011 after a month of several unreturned phone calls and emails concerning Desert Deuce sending me the wrong product and after receiving unsatisfactory service from Mr. Hilding's company "Desert Deuce" I made a complaint with the Phoenix BBB and also published a review on ResellerReviews.com (which Desert Deuce Promptly had censored and removed). On 5/18/2011 Mr. Hilding telephoned me and insisted that I take it down. I told Mr. Hilding that I would append it to include that he resolved the problem but I would not take it down completely. Mr. Hilding was very rude and argumentative. Then Mr. Hilding went on the Reseller Review website and posted several replies to my appendix which were personal attacks on me‐‐including stating that I was a liar, I had serious personal issues, that I am deliberately trying to ruin his business. He wrote (and later edited) that his lawyers were investigating me. Mr. Hilding made 17 seperate replies to my negative review on this website on 5/18/2011 alone! Today (5/19/2011), I received a threatening email from Mr. Hilding. He has threatened to have me fired from my job for using my work email to place an order with his company. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! DO NOT LET INTIMADATION AND THREATS OF ATTORNEYS SCARE YOU AWAY FROM WRITING AN HONEST REVIEW ABOUT A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH A COMPANY.

    Hello Complaints Board,

    The woman that wrote the above complaint is on a personal mission to hurt our business. We did everything possible to help her. Virtually nothing she says above is true and yes we have an attorney involved. If you were in our position you'd do everything to defend yourself and your business as well. The BBB in Arizona dismissed her case as well after they investigated here claim and the facts were brought to light. The BBB's response is below:

    Her complaint on a prominent review site was also removed after we shared the facts and sent proof that she was not being truthful.

    So for those of you reading the complaint above, please do not judge our company or make your purchase decision based on her complaint. We care greatly for our customers and do everything possible to take care of you. We are a family run business that puts a great deal of care into every purchase made by our customers. This sort of attack is very hurtful to us and that's why we are doing all we can to fight back. These sorts of attacks can do great damage to a company that relies on its reputation.     Desert Deuce in Arizona is a great tactical shop. We have been buying our uniforms for the past 3 years from them. Great prices, great service. The complaint above is total BS. They often go above and beyond to get stuff to us on a moments notice. Never had 1 issue with them, buy with total confidence.

    Just goes to show you how far a desperate company will go to silence a bad review. Please dont let threats by companies scare you into telling the truth about their products and services. Any company that supposedly hires an "Attorney" because someone posted a bad review about them is truely scary indeed. Do not do business with companies like this and give them your personal information. Thank God for the internet to bring dirty deeds and tactics to life and for providing consumers with accurate information about bad business dealings. To Desert Duece...I welcome your "Attorney" getting involved--I would love to be able to go to court at your expense to expose to everyone your deranged and intimidating tactics that you use scare people into not giving you a bad review. The fact that you chase me around the internet and threaten me with lawyers ALONE shows people not to buy from you. Keep up the good work!

    I have dealt with desert duece on multiple occasions and they have been nothing short of great. I had one issue around the holidays that was promptly resolved even to the point of overnight shipping at no additional cost. I do believe the above accusation is totally bull ###. I will continue to shop desert duece and highly recommend them to everyone else. Great prices and even better costumer service.

    I ordered a condor plate carrier from this company and plates from another. The plates have been here for 5 days and I just received an email that the carrier wont even be in stock for 3 1/2 weeks. On the site the item is still listed as "in stock". This is an extremely misleading way of doing business. Unless you want to be sitting in frustration, stay away from this company! If they somehow try to make this right I will update my review. As it stands now, you will get your products faster if you order from china!!!

    again this item was (and is still) listed on their site as in stock. In my opinion it is simply bad business to be advertising a product when you don't have it. Do you think people would order this product if they knew you would have to make the same order from another company to get it and they wouldn't have it for a month??? ( i will update if the company fixes the problem)

    I find it a little odd that somehow someone who posted negatively about "desert deuce" in 2011 just happens to post an update that is positive in 2013 5minutes after a negative post was made
    "Nice try desert" and glad to to see this takes priority over my email

    Just got off the phone with company and they seemed to be proactive in refunding my order but nothing for sure yet, I will update as soon as I have been reimbursed.

    Had problems with an order so I cant say much about products but after calling (would recomend calling over email much faster response.) Cancelling was processed quickly and I was refunded for the order. Costumer service was prompt in my experience

    I think that this company no loger exists...after it took my money. Their site is now down for maintenance and their phone message box is full and cannot take anymore message.

    I am in the same boat. Ordered a bunch of gear in October, 2012. All of the items were sent with the exception of a jacket. I was told that the jacket would be sent in November. No problems, i was happy to wait. December came, nothing. Not once did i get an update from DD, i had to chace every time. I was told that there had been a delay from the manufacturer. Fair enough. I waited until January, still nothing. Feb and March rolled on, and Nothing. I emailed the manufacturer (Condor) who advised me that the Jacket had in fact been sent to them in December. WHen i rang DD, i was promised a refund. 4 phone calls later, still no refund, and now they appear to be closed. So i am now left cold without my jacket, and poor without my cash. Worst company ever.

    Thank God I am not the only one. I also ordered the same plate carrier and have been given the run around for months. The website said in stock and after I placed my order here comes an email saying that my item was out of stock and that I would be receiving it as soon as possible. They charged my credit card for the item and took my money without shipping that item to me. I called and talked to a nice lady and she seemed to want to help. She told me that they were waiting for the manufacturer to ship the item to them and that it would be 3 1/2 weeks. I played along and went about patiently waiting for my item. I called 3 1/2 weeks later and was told that my item was going to be directly shipped from the manufacturer in order to speed up the shipping process. I played along and continued to wait patiently for my item. When my item never came I called the manufacturer to ask them what is going on. I was told by Condor that they are still making these vests and that Desert Deuce would be receiving a shipment in 3 weeks. I said okay sounds good and continued to wait for my item to show up. After the 3 weeks passed and no item I tried to call again and got nothing but a voicemail box that is full. I sent several emails and have received no recent replies. I tried to go to their website today and that has been shutdown. I have never written a bad review for a company before and really do not want to write this one. I feel as though the actions taken by this company have been misleading and very disrespectful of their customers. I want my item or I want a refund. How hard is that? If the item is out of stock then do not take my money. If you do not know when the item will be back in stock then do not lead people on as if you know when that item will be back in stock. Finally, if I ask you for a refund, give me a refund. If you sir, the owner of this company, read this posting please contact me as soon as possible. I want you to make good on the money you took from me. Order # 37806.

    I'm saddened to learn that other people are having the same experience I am with their Condor MOPC order. I ordered the MOPC back in the middle of January. When it didn't show up within a 2 weeks I wrote customer service. I was told the items were on backorder just like the guy above and was told they would get another order in 2 weeks. I wrote them again on February 19th and got a response on the 21st. This was the response I got

    "We have now suspended selling Condor items until they can fulfill our backorders with them. We are expecting a large number of shipments to be coming in, in the next few weeks."

    Mind you I had been checking the site periodically and not only had they been taking additional orders for Condor MOPC's but they actually had a sale going that was always just ending in a few days. I've written them twice since on the 10th and 24th of April. I've heard NOTHING from them since the 21st of February and their site has been under maintenance and now down.

    And just to nip this in the bud before it potentially starts - I am not an ex-employee or have any grudge against the company other than what I consider extremely poor service and misleading business practices. I'm just a guy who wanted a Condor MOPC at a good price in reasonable delivery time.

    I just want my item or a refund and soon.

    I have sent severals e-mails and still have not heard back, phone mail box is full, and web page is down. We placed our order on 2/14/13 and only received part of it. We still have CO-MOPC-ATACS $ 93.46 AND CO-MA58-ATACS $ 28.86 on back order. A total of 122.32 has been charger to our account. Can you please provide a ship date and if you can not provide a correct ship date then you can just refund our money. Abernathy

    Yes this company is not an honorable establishment and the above complaints are actually 100% correct and accurate. I too ordered and received no product, and also experienced the lack of return calls or e-mails and as stated above the phone message does say it cannot accept anymore calls. I have filed with BBB and will probably do the same with the local Police Department and the Arizona Attorney General’s office. This company is basically stealing people’s money and should be held criminally liable as well as financially. I wonder how much they paid the few individuals who are defending their cause on this posting?

    As you all have experienced, I too had made a purchase with DDMTO only to find out that they immediately charged by card then I received an email that the items were backordered. I sent an email and Christy Styles I believe was her name sent a response that Condor was the issue and that Condor was on backorder because of some Chinese New Year. Well, the Chinese New Year was over and still supposedly on backorder. They claimed that Condor was the issue for their hold ups and pushed all the blame on them. I was finally able to just do a chargeback on the card and found a company online at lecortec.com (LECOR), they had the same products as DDMTO at around the same price. I made my purchase from them and received the products that DDMTO supposedly said were not available and received the items in 5 days. Hopefully you are able to get your money back and to find another company like I did.

    I work in the aw enforcement community and too have been shafted by this company. I just completed an on-line complaint with the Arizona BBB. I hopefully will receive a refund in full for my product. Not going to hold my breath though. Sorry to hear so many people have been taken by these crooked folks too. Good news, the long arm of the law witll catch them and make them pay. I see criminal intent and hopefully the Arizona authorities will as well.

    Have you any good advise how to get any material or chargeback? Normal way is very difficult for me because I´m living in Europe.
