A man played a clip from Edward Scissorhands and it was extremely inappropriate especially taken out of context. A man from the film is describing teenage girls bodies ‘they reach a certain age and start growing these glands”. Why out of all the quotes from that movie was this the one you chose to air? it was completely disgusting to hear and isnt even describing the movie at all. Just seemed really creepy to me that someone chose that line.

This company's advertising is nothing but a bunch of lies. They advertise themselves as Toronto's only 24 hour classical music station, but they are far from it. When you play movie music, TV themes, Josh Groban singing, and other assorted non-classical music you are definitely NOT a 24 hour classical music station. When you say classical I want to hear Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, Beethoven, Brahms, Dvorak, Shostakovitch etc. etc. etc. Classical composers. I don't want to hear the latest movie theme, or somebody singing (unless it's an opera aria). I wish somebody would talk to these people and tell them to either play classical music as advertised or change their format to a general type station (some classical, some not-classical). If I were to tune in a rock station I wouldn't want to hear Luciano Pavarotti singing La Donna e mobile. Same principle applies here.

96.3 Classical FM is a radio station that has billed itself The NEW 96.3 Classical FM. My complaint with this station is that they tout themselves as a 24 hour classical music station which is simply not true. While they do play Bach, Beethoven, Mozart etc. they also play songs, music from movies, and other type of music I would NOT classify as classical. Whenever I hear their tag line about being the only 24 hour classical music station in Toronto the phrase Liar Liar pants on fire springs to mind. I'm not even going to mention that an hour of music is taken up by bits and pieces of symphonies and concertos, followed by at least seven or eight commercials, but that's beside the point. When I turn on a classical music I want to hear Beethoven or Brahms or Handel, not Josh Groban or Enya.
