Barnett Harley-Davidson Poor Customer Service

I have had issues with my first (and last) purchase from this dealer. I purchased a jacket for my girlfriend on Wednesday the 23rd September (at the start of their business day) and asked for it to be shipped to a friend in the US in the hope that they would be able to bring it over for me as we are going on a road trip in the middle of October.
Had Barnett shipped my purchase in good time I would have the jacket in time for the friend to bring over to South Africa. All I got was a rather curse note/email explaining that they dont ship on certain days and that they have a high workload.
[Your order will be going out on Monday the 28th. It takes 1-2 days to process, which it was rung up on Friday and due to high volume of orders it will be shipped out Monday. We do not process any order Saturday and Sunday. Thank you]
Well those are excuses and not my problem. They could at least say that it takes a week before your order is shipped. It is now a week later (30 September) and the order is still marked as processing (i.e. not shipped). I will not be using them again and will no doubt not receive the jacket in time for the ride (I don't have another). It is poor customer relations and little understanding of the customers needs that chase people away.
