Autumn Argus review: Not received Sphynx cat, neither my deposit

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Autumn Argus promised to ship a Sphynx cat to me in the UK under the passports for Pets scheme. I was told by Barbara that she had shipped to the UK before and she would get the blood tests started. This was back in Feburary 2006 .I sent her a $2140 deposit towards the cat and for the upkeep of the cat plus vet expences. I recieved a contract outlining the expences of keeping the cat for the 7 months duration of the pets passport etc.

I contacted Barbara on the , to see when the cat was going to be shipped ,only to be told that she had not yet had the blood titre test done .So consequentlty it would now be at least another 6 months before she could ship the cat.

She has said she is very sorry and got her husband to overview the situation [Donald Fratt]. He contacted me saying they had been misinformed as to the procedeure of shiping to the UK and is there anyway to ship him to Germany or somewhere.

I explained that Barbara HAD shipped to the UK before and knew about the blood tests and titre test, so why had it not been done?, also it dosent matter what part of the world the cat travels from those particular procedures have to be carried.

As Barbara has broken THIER contract I would like my deposit back.
I am not prepared to have to wait at least another 6 months for he cat to be able to be shipped.
The email I sent requesting the return of my money was on the 12 Sept 06. I have sent several since asking their intentions but as to date I have heard nothing from them.
