I bought these 2 sets of jewelry at an art karat show in Greenville, SC and these people said that I will receive my items in 6 weeks and now it’s been over 3 months and there is no response from them. When I asked them they said they will be shipped next week but I still didn’t get any shipping notification from them.
I asked them to refund my money and No one answers the calls.
I need my $3,100 to be refunded back to me.

Jewelry. Customer service
Total scam and horrible customer service. I bought a necklace and earring set on April 10th. The necklace had a tiny stone missing. They said they will fix it and ship it to me. They told me it will take a maximum of 8 weeks. The person also told me it will be delivered way sooner than that. I called after 9 weeks and I was told it is stuck in customs and it will be shipped in 2 weeks. I called again after 2 weeks I was told it will be shipped in 3 days and I will receive tracking info in my email. I called again after 3 days I was told it will take one more week. I got so mad that I asked for a refund. I just want my $678.89 back. Then they told me as the jewelry is really old and a repair piece I cannot get refund. Repair piece? I bought a brand new piece from an exhibition! Then I was told again that they will ship it in 15 days.
They never call me or send any updates via email. I have to call or send at least five messages to get a response. Yelp is full of similar reviews. Please do your research before buying from them.

Art Karat Jewelery
I liked a pair of earrings in their exhibition in November 2021, they placed an order for it and told me I would receive it by December end. I did not get it until January 2022 and it had a lot of diamonds missing. After a lot of messages from me, they said they would send me a replacement immediately. After a lot of follow ups, dealing with a ton of lies, false promises and very poor customer services, I received the earrings in April 2022. They still did not get it right and this time they are much bigger than the original one I chose. The diamonds and other stones are much bigger and hence they look really fake. I did not bother to complain this time around because I am tired of dealing with them and have learnt a very expensive lesson here. Stay away from them and save your money and the mental harassment that you will have to go through if you place an order with them.
Desired outcome: Refund of my money and an apology for all the harassment they caused.
Temple Jewelry bracelet
I went to Indianapolis Art Karat show for 6th year and purchased each year from them. I purchased a bracelet in 2019 and they mailed it to me 6 weeks later. When I called their Delhi location because of damaged bracelet they sent they claim to not understand English. On 110921, i visited the store with this complaint and they refused to exchange it.
Desired outcome: I SHOULD GET REPLACEMENT AS THEY SENT DAMAGE PRODUCT.
Money refund
I order products from this website in less than 20 minutes; I changed my mind after I paid and asked about canceling my order and refund money. They said they don't have the policy to refund; They only give credit. Customer service is sucks.
My order has not been delivered
Its been 4 months since I have ordered from Artkarat.com, and this company didn't ship my product yet. Order ID: 25048, ordered on Aug 20, 2020, and it was for $495. Promised sipping time was 6 to 8 weeks, and now its December and they still haven't delivered it.
They keep saying its coming soon, and they gave me shipping tracking information for something that was shipped to Miami, when I live in NJ.
I would like refund of the money. Their customer service doesn't respond to inquiries, and provides wrong information

I bought two sets of earrings from Art Karat at a hotel exhibition in Virginia on Sep, 11, 2016. On the invoice, the sales rep wrote down delivery by Nov. 10. I called them on Nov. 7 to check if items have been shipped. They told me tat the items have not been shipped yet but will be shipped soon. By Dec. 5 when I had still not received the items I call the customer service number and they told me someone would get back to me. When I did not receive a call I called back on Dec. 6 and received the same response. "I am a receptionist someone will call you back. This is a call center". I requested to speak with a supervisor or sales agent and she said no one is available. I got a call back on Dec. 7, to say that the items have now been shipped from India. I requested my order be cancelled as amount refunded because it has now been over 12 weeks. She said Art Karat has a no refund policy. They can cancel the order but not issue a refund.
Very unprofessional people with horrible customer service. In this day and age what kind of policy is this, "No refund under any circumstances" even if they have not met their terms of deliver in approximately 10-12 weeks.
Very poor customer service. No sight of order placed 2 months ago
I was interested in several pieces of Jewelry at the Art Karat exhibition in Singapore in Oct 2016. I was asked to place an order as the items were not readily available and I was told that the pieces I ordered would be delivered to my address within 6 weeks . Of course, I was asked to pay in full in advance for the items, which I had done via credit card which was charged immediately. However it is 2 months now and there is no sight of the delivery and nobody is replying to my emails sent to [protected]@artkarat.com. Yet, when I wrote a dummy email enquiring about placing an order for custom pieces of jewellery, I immediately got a reply!... that is the wonderful customer service Art Karat is providing. Art karat will only reply if you are going to give them more business but no reply if you have already paid them...but they have not delivered the goods! Have I been cheated ? It is supposed to be a reputed company, is it just a facade to cheat people? I have bought from Art Karat in the past, but the latest experience has been the worst and will certainly be the last one for me. I am still waiting for delivery of the delivery for my Invoice 14511
Violation of FCC Cooling-Off Rule
Art Karat executed a illegal sales contract as per FTC (Federal Trade Commission) Cooling-off Rule rule.The Federal Trade Commission's (FTC's) Cooling-Off Rule gives you three days to cancel purchases of $25 or more if you buy an item in your home or at a location that is not the seller's permanent place of business. Under the Cooling-Off Rule, the salesperson must tell you about your cancellation rights at the time of sale. The salesperson also must give you two copies of a cancellation form (one to keep and one to send) and a copy of your contract or receipt. The FCC rule can be seen here:

Art Karat did none of the above, it sold a order to customize Jewelry to my wife in a hotel exhibition (located far away from its business location in New York) and specified a illegal (as per above FTC rule) "no-return" policy in its sales contract. Neither did it inform my wife of her cancellation rights or provide her with cancellation forms. When my wife tried to cancel the contract (within 24 hours in fact), its representatives simply refused even though the contract was illegal. I complained to my credit card company and referred to the FCC rule. The credit card company subsequently ruled in my favor.
I would suggest to all those who have been victimized by Art Karat's violation of FCC rule on the cooling off period should ask for a refund from there credit card companies. The credit card companies are under contractual obligation to rule in your favor in case of illegal transactions such as this one conducted by Art Karat. One can also take Art Karat to small claims court to get a refund.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Some how I feel most of the positive comments here, specially the ones with big bold capslock :) are not real comments from actual customers. They come across as being fake and written by a company insider, who is trying to redundantly do damage control by repeating the same lost cause of Art Karat being a wonderful company with this so called amazing Jewellery and great quality and amazing customer service (NOT!).
If something is good, it speaks for itself! Done deal! And if a company has been in business and doing good at it, there wouldn't be so many complaints or cases with BBB or in small claims court. A happy and satisfied customer may not go the extent of writing a good review always, but trust my word, an unhappy disgruntled customer, who experienced bait and switch, who dealt with bad customer service, and rotten quality inspite of paying a ridiculously overpriced price tag, is not going to sit on their @$$ and take this $#!%. Asha Modi you and your scam are a done deal. I've shopped at your exhibit at Hitlon, in Newark/Fremont California. You guys are a rip off and a scam of the highest order. You shouldn't be allowed to do business in North America. Your lack of business ethics may do you well in India, but not here! Mark my words, the days of your company herein the U.S. are numbered, unless you change the quality of your product and customer service to match Anerican standards.

It very unfortunate that a reputed company like yours is totally
unconcerned about a genuine goof from their side.
My sister ordered a pair of bracelets only after confirming that it will
be delivered to her by a particular date as she intended to wear them
for a wedding she wanted to attend.
THIS DID NOT HAPPEN
It was delivered a month beyond schedule and the company had goofed
up with the design and hence it was not what she had ordered. So we got back
to Ushaji who then channeled me to Ashok Maity. Ashokji agreed to redesign the
Bangles/Kadas. I had also asked him to send me a picture once they were ready.
This he did and thank god for that because they got the design WRONG AGAIN!
YOUR COMPANY GOOFED UP SECOND TIME!
As it is lot of time had passed between the original order placed and the requirement for the same. Our circumstances are such that we have no wish to
buy anything else at the moment. Besides given the appreciation of Gold and silver prices since last two years the buying power of Rs25000/- (which is what we
paid as upfront ) has diminished a great deal.
I have all the written correspondence with Ashokji in my mail including the picture of the design that your company goofed up the second time. and can furnish the same if required.
I am once again requesting you and your company to do what is right by me and return the amount paid upfront which your company has been holding. I am to forgo the interest on the same.
I have following up with your company in this regards since last two years with no fault of mine! I want you to know that I am totally fed and harassed.
Your is on currently in Ahmedabad and that were I am based. Please inform your people to return the money due to me today itself and bring an end to issue which

Art Karat has terrible customer service. It has been 10 weeks & i still havent received my order, yet they processed payment upon placing the order. Have e-mailed their customer department several times and have not received any reply from them. The product quality is poor yet they charge a ridiculous amount for fake crap. Dont recommend them at all.
Its a fake store, there is no art karat at the above said address. Its a scam. Beware, search the internet before buying any thing. you will find out that this is a fraud company. There is no one in that location. Have called numerous times. No result. Go there physically, you will see.

I am extremely disappointed with Art Karat and their customer service. I went to their exhibition in December 2012 and really liked a pair of ear rings. They had a final piece and refused to sell it, also there were defects in the piece itself. They placed an order right there and charged me immediately. I received my package after 9 weeks and it was a defectively piece. After I wrote to the customer service, they asked me to send it to their NJ office and me to pay for shipping. I waited for their event which was scheduled for May 2013. I was told that I could pick from a couple of pair that they have in the exhibition but they had none. Again, they placed an order online and took my piece away. I received the 2nd shipment now and still there is defect in one of the ear rings. I am totally angry and disappointed. Will never shop there and will not recommend it to anyone. Art Karat cheats people.
