So, I ordered some coffee stuff from Coffe Italia (coffeeitalia.co.uk), but wasn't too impressed with the whole experience, to be honest. I mean, it took them yonks to process my payment, and when the order arrived, there were bits missing! I had to campaign for ages to get that sorted, and it was ages before I got any news about it. Even now, three whole weeks on, I still don't have the bits I need! I even tried asking for a refund and returning the item, but nobody's even bothering to answer my emails now. What a right faff!

And get this - I found out that I could've gotten the same machine for 50 bucks cheaper if I bought it from Gaggia UK. Yeah, they were super prompt in repairing it, so at least there's that.
All in all, I wouldn't say I had a terrible experience with Coffee Italia, but I surely wouldn't recommend them to anyone either.

Finally showed up (I put in the order on Oct 9) on Oct 20. But dang, the hopper's got a major crack in it, plus it's got an EU plug instead of a UK one. I reckon I can try and get parts and fix it myself if I gotta (gonna wait and see what they say next), but this ain't a good sign - I was hoping for a smooth out-of-the-box experience, not this.

It has already been 2-3 weeks and I have yet to receive any help.
To make matters worse, the company even suggested that I open up the machine myself, which I found to be very concerning. When I declined their suggestion, they accused me of burning the resistance and told me to seek local help instead. I am extremely disappointed with the poor customer service and lack of support I have received thus far.
At this point, all I want is my money back as I have lost all trust in this company. I recently made a purchase at Coffe Italia, specifically an expensive La Pavoni coffee machine, at the tail end of May 2020. Unfortunately, upon arrival the machine was faulty. I tried reaching out to their customer service department through various channels; by web form, email, and even Facebook message. It was not until my fifth message that I received any sort of response. The person who finally replied was, in my opinion, quite rude and unhelpful. I could not even get him to pick up the phone! It seems he is stationed somewhere in Italy.
After I requested a refund or replacement, the representative advised me to send the machine to a physical address in London. I thought this was a return address, but as it turns out it was a La Pavoni service center. I foolishly believed that Coffe Italia would pay for the shipping, so I sent the machine for repairs.
To my dismay, the coffee machine came back with the same issue. I tried calling the representative again, but he did not pick up nor did he respond to my second email. It is very disheartening to realize that my money was wasted on an unusable product and an unhelpful service team.
My advice is not to buy from Coffe Italia. It has been a terrible experience for me, and quite irreparable. Don't make the same mistake I did!

The representative that I spoke with frequently hung up or dismissed my concerns saying they had no time to help. I am now left worried and without my product or my money.
While shipping errors are not always in a company's control, the shipper informed me that Coffe Italia made mistakes. As a result, I have lost over 500 pounds with no refund, despite their errors. This entire situation has been extremely distressing, and I would caution anyone from using Coffe Italia in the future.

Worst service ever. Absolutely disgraceful. I spent a whopping 1200 quid for an espresso machine and some accessories from Coffe Italia back in April, and I haven't heard a peep from them since. I only got one measly email saying my machine would come on a Tuesday this week, but I'm still empty-handed. And they won't even give me a tracking number or tell me if they have shipped my order? What a bunch of crooks.
And don't believe the lies they put on their website. They claim their warehouse is in London, but no orders ever come out of there. The company is obviously fraudulent, and I'm not the only one who has experienced this abysmal service.
I'm not going to put up with this. I've talked to Matteo over the phone, and all he can do is give me empty promises. He can't even give me a tracking number, and he hangs up on me too. I'm taking this up with trading standards, and I'm reversing the charges on my credit card. I'm warning you now, don't ever order anything from Coffe Italia. Save yourself the hassle and avoid them at all costs.
