I just ordered a Gaggia Classic coffee machine from the website coffeeitalia.co.uk. When I received the order, I followed the instructions for setup and found that the pump would not prime. I tried some common fixes for this issue but had no luck, so I decided to get in touch with their customer service phone number. Unfortunately, my experience with the representative on the phone was far from pleasant. They were rude and unhelpful and even hung up on me several times while I was still trying to talk to them.

Despite my frustration, I decided to give them another chance when they offered me a free repair for the machine and directed me to their customer helpline. I was under the impression that they were a UK based company as they have a UK website and phone number but it turns out that they are actually operating out of Italy/Spain. This has caused numerous problems for me as I have had trouble getting in touch with them and dealing with staff who have been extremely unhelpful and rude.

When I first placed my order, I received a confirmation email stating that "Products will be supplied with the proper country plug". However, when the machine arrived, it had a European plug which meant that I could not use it. The company did send me a travel adapter, but this is not what was stated on their website and it was not a suitable solution.

When I tried to get in touch with the company to resolve the issue, I found myself dealing with an incredibly arrogant and ignorant team. I was put on hold for long periods of time and when I did manage to speak to someone, they would often put the phone down on me. It was a nightmare trying to get any kind of help from them.

This was the only solution left for me as the company's staff were not able to provide any help or assistance. I bought a Gaggia Brera from Coffee Italia on October 23rd, 2020. It arrived six days later, but unfortunately, it was faulty. When I called to request a replacement, the man who answered the phone was rude and unhelpful, telling me to send an email instead. So I did, along with a video showing the problem.

Their response shocked me - they told me to take the machine apart and fix it myself! They even attached a video to show me how. I didn't feel comfortable with this, so I called Gaggia UK who advised me not to touch it as it would void my warranty. They were very pleasant and helpful.

I asked Coffee Italia for a refund because their advice was so terrible that I began to feel uneasy about the whole transaction. Also, the advice to fix a brand-new machine myself was unacceptable. They finally agreed to take it back, but told me I had to wait for a report before they would issue a refund. When they said they had fixed it and wanted to send it back, I refused the offer and demanded my money back. It took a lot of persistence, but I eventually contacted Amazon Pay (my payment method) who resolved the matter quickly.

To my surprise, Coffee Italia only refunded part of my money and kept the rest to cover the cost of repairing the machine. I had to contact Amazon Pay once again to get the other part of my refund. The whole process was incredibly stressful and ruined the joy of buying a new coffee machine. I ended up going back to my old pod machine.

The La Pavoni Europiccola Coffee Machine and Rancilio Rocky Grinder were two products I had my eye on for a while. When I found out that Cafe Italia had the best price for these items, I knew I had to order from them.

I was a little worried when I read some negative reviews online, but I decided to take the plunge anyways. Thankfully, my call to the UK number put my mind at ease. Marco, who answered the phone, told me that the machines would come with UK plug adaptors and would be shipped from Italy.

When I received my FedEx notification with a tracking number, I eagerly awaited the arrival of my machines. They arrived exactly seven days after I ordered them, just like Marco had promised.

Unfortunately, when I received my order, I noticed a few issues. But this is where Cafe Italia's incredible customer service came in. Both Marco and Matteo were quick to respond to my inquiries and both were incredibly polite and helpful.

Even with a couple of bumps along the road, I now have a great rapport with Marco. He even threw in a bag of coffee beans and a beautiful wood tamper for free!

My grinder's bean hopper was broken during transit, but Marco arranged for a replacement to be delivered quickly and it was easy to install. I also had an issue with the coffee machine not reaching temperature and it let off steam constantly. Matteo quickly resolved this issue by explaining that it was simply caused by manufacturing dust in the pressure release valve. I sent an email at 9.45pm and received a response from Matteo 10 minutes later explaining what the problem was and how to resolve it. That's great service in my opinion! I've even received responses from them during the day and late into the evening. It seems like they never stop working!

One thing I did find confusing was that the UK address on their website is actually for A E Stanton, a service centre they use. Additionally, the website could have been a little clearer. But, personally, these things didn't bother me too much. I can easily fit a UK plug to the machines if I need to.

Overall, I just want to say a big thank you to Marco and Matteo. They have been friendly, polite, and resolved my issues quickly. I got the machines at a great price and the free coffee and tamper were a fantastic surprise. If you're looking for great products and excellent customer service, I would definitely recommend Cafe Italia!

I had a not so good experience with Coffee Italia. When it comes to coffee machines, this vendor might be okay if you get a good one. Sadly, I was not one of the fortunate ones. I bought two Quickmill Cassiopea machines within the last 4 months, and both turned out to be faulty. I am now without a functioning machine, and I still have not received my refund from at Coffee Italia.

I must say that is terrible when it comes to customer service. He was rude on the phone, unprofessional via email, and hung up on me. Even though I had two faulty machines, he refused to give me a refund and instead wanted to charge me for repairing the second faulty machine, which is ridiculous!

I also have doubts about the quality control of Quickmill. The first machine arrived heavily scratched and clearly used. It seems like Coffee Italia is only a middleman, and orders are being shipped directly from the manufacturer. This could explain why their customer service is nonexistent, and why their prices are a bit cheaper than their competition. I suspect that the machines that they supply are "B stock" or refurbished models.

I filed a legal complaint against Coffee Italia under "section 75" with my credit card company. Despite trying to contact for three weeks, and even writing to him, the credit card company still hasn't heard anything from him. My whole ordeal reflects the whole experience. Coffee Italia is an absolute disaster. I would never purchase anything from them again. Although other companies may charge a bit more, at least you can expect excellent customer service and peace of mind when something goes wrong. Thank goodness my credit card company agreed to refund me.

Don't trust the positive reviews that you read on other websites. Coffee Italia requested that they be removed from other similar websites. It appears that this company only tolerates positive reviews and works with some of the other review websites to ensure that they are portrayed positively, despite terrible customer service and disregard for their customers.

I ordered a coffee machine for over ?1000 and I was expecting it to come in perfect condition. Unfortunately, it arrived scratched and defective. Coffee Italia isn't the greatest company to deal with. They seem to be avoiding their responsibilities when something goes wrong. I then requested for a technician to help me, as well as pictures and videos to assist with troubleshooting, but none of those were provided. It has already been 2-3 weeks and I have yet to receive any help.

To make matters worse, the company even suggested that I open up the machine myself, which I found to be very concerning. When I declined their suggestion, they accused me of burning the resistance and told me to seek local help instead. I am extremely disappointed with the poor customer service and lack of support I have received thus far.

I recently made a purchase at Coffe Italia, specifically an expensive La Pavoni coffee machine, at the tail end of May 2020. Unfortunately, upon arrival the machine was faulty. I tried reaching out to their customer service department through various channels; by web form, email, and even Facebook message. It was not until my fifth message that I received any sort of response. The person who finally replied was, in my opinion, quite rude and unhelpful. I could not even get him to pick up the phone! It seems he is stationed somewhere in Italy.
After I requested a refund or replacement, the representative advised me to send the machine to a physical address in London. I thought this was a return address, but as it turns out it was a La Pavoni service center. I foolishly believed that Coffe Italia would pay for the shipping, so I sent the machine for repairs.
To my dismay, the coffee machine came back with the same issue. I tried calling the representative again, but he did not pick up nor did he respond to my second email. It is very disheartening to realize that my money was wasted on an unusable product and an unhelpful service team.
My advice is not to buy from Coffe Italia. It has been a terrible experience for me, and quite irreparable. Don't make the same mistake I did!

The situation was compounded when I was told by the shipper that the package was lost in transit. I reached out to Coffe Italia requesting a refund, but rather than offering a solution or even an apology, I was met with abusive emails and threatened. The representative that I spoke with frequently hung up or dismissed my concerns saying they had no time to help. I am now left worried and without my product or my money.

While shipping errors are not always in a company's control, the shipper informed me that Coffe Italia made mistakes. As a result, I have lost over 500 pounds with no refund, despite their errors.
