Clark Modular Homes

We had a great time with Clarks and have been in our new home for a year now. They were super helpful and understanding to make sure we got exactly what we wanted in the planning phase, we even got to do a completely custom floor plan! They kept us up to date with progress as the project went on and since we moved in, they are still helpful with questions we have. We highly recommend Clarks for a modular (or manufactured) home purchase!

My folks got a modular from Clark's Manufactured homes in *** and in the last year, the shingles on their roof blew off and they got leaks in their home. My mom reached out to Clark's, but they didn't help at all. They said there's nothing they can do. My mom hired a couple of roofers to check the shingles on the roof, and they said they were put on wrong. So now, with no help or contact from Clark's, it's going to cost $10,000 for a roof that shouldn't have to be replaced for another 10 years or so. It's terrible customer service to not even answer a letter about the roof that was sent to them. Small claims court is the next step in this terrible experience with Clark's.

This company got two people in charge of sales and follow up. They don't know how to make a customer happy. We had many things wrong with the home when it came and they never said sorry for the problems. We had to tell them what was wrong and they only fixed what was in the contract. They never came to see the problems. They don't follow up on the problems to let you know if they were fixed or when they were going to fix them. If you ask a question about the home, they have to check with the factory. The company is owned by Malley Construction of Mt Pleasant and they want you to use them for all the septic and foundation work. The home foundation was set too low and caused an erosion problem. I wouldn't recommend using either company.
