CL Restoration & Remodeling LLC Bus Tax# 882290588 review: Poor incomplete service

Contractor was paid to insulate basement walls and sheetrock, and reconnect washer /dryer and utility sink.

After paying the contractor, and retiring for bed, I noticed I did not have cable. I checked the main cable connection in the basement and discovered the cable cord appeared to be sealed in the wall. The Contractor agreed to come out and take care of the problem. Further inspection revealed the contractor had not sealed the wall and insulation. A large piece of insulation was sticking out of the wall, which made the cord appear to be inside the wall. After the dryer was moved the cord was actually under the dryer. Moving the dryer exposed the incomplete sealing of the wall. Also the utility sink did not have the pipes connected so any water from the washer would spill out on the floor. In addition the utility sink was cracked which it was not before the contractor started. When asking the contractor if he was going to leave the wall like that, he responded, "well how many times are you gonna look back here". I asked him was that how he was going to leave his work. He the became indignant and said if I was going to look over his shoulder while he's working, (in more colorful language) he wouldn't continue. I replied I need to be sure you see what I'm referring to. He then said he wasn't some scum bag I had to watch, I could get some one else to finish it, and stormed out. I had previously paid him and gave him a tip. The walls were not sufficiently sealed, the utility sink was cracked and not attached. I paid separately for 2 tubs of compound, he did not provide the receipt and there is only one tub of compound in the basement.
