This is my third Eco Drive Citizens that I have purchased. The first one I sent back to the company because it stopped running. They had it for quite some time. Long enough for me to need another watch, so not knowing the problem with my 1st watch, I purchased a second Eco Drive.
Low and behold they tell me that I DIDN'T charge my watch correctly by placing it in direct sunlight FOR 12 HOURS ! Are you kidding me? 12 HOURS ? And the lady was quite adamant and a bit snotty that I didn't
think that was a normal thing to expect... So I shopped around and found what I thought clearly stated that this one would not require to be off my wrist during the day to lounge on my window sill beneath the sun's luxurious rays. It stated:

Citizen Eco-Drive harnesses the power of light from any natural or artificial light source and converts it into energy so it never needs a battery.

Low and behold once again, after two weeks my second hand stopped sweeping and the lady once again tells me, "Well, you need to charge your watch on the window sill for 12 hours, for it to get a real charge". Can you imagine what is going through my mind right now. This is my LAST Citizen's Eco Drive watch ! You guys stink ! As does your product ! Shame on you folks at Citizens.
